hammerva Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 Well a number of people think the world title or one of the titles is going to a wrestler without a scent of scandal to his name .. Riddle?

kafkonia Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 You know, with the way A stock vs B stock is set up, non-McMahons would have to own roughly 91% of the stock to have the majority of the voting stock. That is nuts. 3
Cobra Commander Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 they turned down the idea of Vince telling the "name on the marquee says "Fucking"" joke tonight

BloodyChamp Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 So what happened on CNN? I’lll look for it later obviously but I’m curious. And I won’t get to see Smackdown either.
Swift Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Do they just always pump in crowd noise now? Sounded like a mixed reaction, and I can't get too mad at people cheering him - not everybody follows news all the time. However if you did know the reason for Vince being there and you still cheered, then you're quite the dick. 2
(BP) Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 What Vince has going for him is that he’s Ted Knight in Caddyshack but he has convinced a significant portion of his audience that he’s Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack. There’s a lot of this going around obviously. There must be some kind of snooty bureaucracy that just doesn’t want to let a party dude work hard and play hard. 2

Go2Sleep Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 So SD was like when Trump would have a rally after a scandal? I didn't watch either, but those two are like the same person so it would track. 2

The greatest evil film has ever done is convincing an entire generation that Rodney Dangerfield's character in Caddyshack was a good guy. 4

Phantom Lord Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 You know of all the ways it could have went on Smackdown, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Danny Noonan would have pissed all of that money away on drugs and drinking. He had a perfectly fine role model in Judge Smails and college all lined up. Turned his back on an adult who cared. 1
Greggulator Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 The Vince segment tonight felt like he had something completely batshit planned and people (wisely for the WWE, not wisely for those of us who want a car wreck) convinced him to not say or do anything that could get him in trouble but still make an appearance. 6 1
Eivion Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Did he say anything? I skipped what I thought was an entrance and saw nothing more. 1
