On a DVD they need to do a Maria cam that just shows what she is doing and saying during a match. A very cool moment... you could see Castle was thrilled to have the match, and I'm sure Liger was just as happy to work in front of a crowd that jazzed to have him. Well, they're on DA where ghost and bigfoot shows reign supreme, would make sense in a weird way. I was thrilled when they started on Sinclair and did tons of promotion in Baltimore. They're busy as all hell now, but I'd pay good money to see crazy-looking Mark hamming it up at some convention event. The kids would love him! If i had never seen ROH before I'd get the since That the Briscoes were a big deal man they come accoss as way bigger stars than anyone else in ROH to me. caley Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 This week's show was all right. War Machine-Decade was another bait-and-switch with War Machine beating up Corino. Obviously someone hipped King Corino to looking like a terrible father a couple weeks back, because this week he stood up and took his coat off. War Machine looked less like ass-kickers, especially Rowe because he kept trying to not beat up Colby until he slapped him in the face. Also, after Moose's huge power moves on Colby last match, most of War Machine's stuff looked rather pedestrian, save for Rowe's back-breaker to gut-buster to power bomb combo. What's the deal with Cedric Alexander's voice? Dude's voice cracks with every line he says. Him being the guy to end Moose's undefeated streak is a weird choice. The match was not so good. Just like Goldberg's WWE run, Moose is not a guy you want selling for 90% of a match. He's much better just steamrolling guys. I wonder if this leads to Veda dumping Moose for Cedric. I kinda hope not, as my favourite part of Moose's entrance is Veda doing the 'Moose' chants along with the music (Which sadly, she didn't really do this week). Naito/Tanahashi-Sydal/ACH was pretty good. I haven't really been much of a fan of ACH since starting to watch ROH, but this week he looked really great. I like him much better was a tag wrestler than a guy you build a whole singles match around. That dive he did was really neat, though that step through the ropes into a swinging DDT looked awkward as hell. What's the deal with Naito and his eyes? Why does he keep doing that? (So I googled it and it's something he did in Mexico when they would taunt him over his small eyes so...yeah). Loved ACH stealing the air guitar taunt. Also, what was the deal with ACH's entrance attire? The hat, man? What's up with the hat? Contract signing was entertaining but the ending was flat. I might be in the minority but I LOVE the Jay Lethal heel character. Everything from his entrance to his promos. I was very surprised neither guy went through the table but the ending was almost as lame as that Reigns and Lesnar play tug-of-war with the title Raw ending from March. The match itself was really indy-tastic and had a lot of botches but it was entertaining as hell. I'm gonna sound like an asshole asking this but did Veda get implants? Still... woof. Step through the ropes into (insert move here, usually a DDT or RKO) is the new indy hotness. By this time next year it should supplant (insert move here) onto the knee.
