  6. Because we're done pretending it matters when John Cena drops the title to another full time guy. Brock Lesnar is the scariest, most dominant figure in wrestling. He's not over exposed, and beats only the top guys when he feels like it. Austin is Top 3 biggest name in the history of the company and if he came back to fight, why should it be in a non-title fight where the outcome is meaningless? You put it for the strap like it has some fucking importance. This part time vs. full time guy is some stupid backstage locker room argument that somehow wrestlers conned the fans into taking part in. I want a title fight, I want the biggest stars attatched. I don't want John Cena dropping the title to Roman Reigns and pretending like it's a big deal, when he's lost that fucking title over a dozen times already, and he'll just get it back in a few weeks when the ratings don't go up.

  11. I'm not going to defend pro wrestling's history, but, at present, there's no frigging way WWE would tolerate a main eventer doing half the shit many NFL guys do. You get caught assaulting your girlfriend or arrested on gun charges, it's a big deal. As opposed to the NFL, where no one seems terribly bothered about it until TMZ release footage.

  14. Man the WWE is just got the worst luck this year, Bryan needs surgery shortly after Mania, BNB goes down with and injury, now Reigns super push, whether he was ready for it or not, gets hampered by the injury bug. This is another reason to bring back good ole squash matches with jobbers, you don't need your stars going out and having hard hitting, though really good, matches on a weekly basis. Let some guys just squash some local dude.

  17. I'm reviewing some 1984 televised wrestling on another forum, and have created a couple of gifs to go along with it (which is where the last few I have posted have come from). Might as well throw them up here, even though they aren't particularly special. The horrific AWA merchandise in 1984. Masa Saito nailing Baron Von Raschke with a wooden board.

  19. I liked the Liontamer/Walls of Jericho when Jericho would stand slightly bent with a knee into his opponent's head before it became just a Boston crab. I feel like Bray could use some kind of submission, perhaps a sleeper hold. Then, he can abduct his unconscious opponent and mind rape them.

  20. Consider these your only warning on the matter If you are asked by an admin/mod to do something... do so. Don't act surprised when you are suspended/banned for not listening. This website and message board have been around for 15+ years and has been through several incarnations. Many of us are way older and we have attracted a newer auidence (somehow). If you can not accept things have changed - find somewhere else to post. We have a standing policy that if you post "goodbye" posts we would help you stick to your guns and ban you. The same now applies if you bitch about how much you hate it here. It definitely is you... not us. There is a new wonderful bit where people love to say amazingly douchey things to me on places like Twitter and Facebook. If I figure out what your board name is - you are banned. (Not to mention blocked on said social media.)

  21. (Welp, I can't get Internet Explorer to post images on here for shizzz, so I'm going with the backup plan of Google Chrome. I have to travel back and forth from each browser to even get it to work....but alas...If it doesn't work I'll delete this stuff ASAP) I find professional wrasslin' as an art form. Like many arts it's fugged up and beautifuul in many respects. And I'll post images that have used wrasslin as a theme in it's work, hope ya'll enjoy! I wish I had a tattoo of this... And MY all time FAVE, CAP'N REDNECK HIMSELF... ...there's a few more of these awesome drawings but I'll change pace a wee bit with this last one and make sure everything posted okay before I move on... Again I hope ya'll dug these, if they posted correctly I'll give ya'll some more treats in a few! -Preish!

  22. Hero's gotten a little chunky but I thought Murdoch and Gordy were the patron saints of this site? Did Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon take over DVDVR? Are we now pushing Rene Dupree for the HOF?

  23. Well they have a Code of Conduct policy. Has anyone ever read it? Fighters included? Also, are these the same charges against Anthony Johnson from 2009 or are they more recent? Can we then deem Bellator's HW and LHW divisions the MMA Seniors Tour?

  24. It is not the power and importance so much as the hubris which they are delivering to the public in this scandal. Instead of realizing the problems in their Personal Conduct Policy and suspensions they are just hoping it eventually blows over. They are ignoring the larger issues here which is why the public is angry.

  28. Watching the legendary Flyers-Islanders Game 6 of the 1980 cup final. My God is this awesome, makes the modern NHL look so lame in comparison. It's like going from watching Bill Watts Mid South to watching Raw. And a question for you guys: anyone know the cheapest way to get from NYC toTD Bank Garden (Boston) or Verizon Center (DC) via public transportation? Toying of the idea of seeing the Sabres when they visit those venues but would want to come back same day.

  30. Golddust busts out the Canadian Destroyer every now and then and every time he does it it looks fucking awesome. That's a specialty of his. Bulldog: move that 90% of the time looks like shit. Goldie's rules. Inverted DDT: move that 90% of the time looks like shit. Goldie's rules. The fucking FINAL CUT or whatever that move where he spins the guy looks like shit ALL THE TIME. Goldie's rules. I don't know what it is, but his grace and verve hitting all of these just works somehow where it doesn't with anyone else. Bray needs the Asiatic Spike. Everyone knows it, probably even him. He's even got the fucking glove.

  33. Pittman's best moment was ambushing Cobra by rappeling down from the ceiling behind him and making him tapout in one minute. IIRC, Cobra made his entrance, Pittman had some army cadet deliver an envelope to Cobra to distract him and then Pittman rappelled down from the ceiling and jumped him. If that's not pro-wrestling than I don't know what the hell is.

  38. Is it just me, or is Craig Pittman a really fun wrestler? He builds his matches around getting the Code Red on his opponent, and it's a formula that really works for him. It's a shame that he ended up getting paired with Teddy Long and going nowhere.
