Domino_Not_Deuce Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Balor got the DX rub on Monday. In a HHH-influenced company, that's basically a promise. It's him vs Styles jerking the card for the WWE Title.

This makes me want a Kofi win one day, especially in post Brand Split world where Jinder can get the title. Although if Kofi ever won it I feel like his first defense would be Ziggler for old time sake.
sydneybrown Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 WWE should have had Santino win that one time where it looked like they might actually do something creative (and the crowd was ready to erupt for it.) At least your fantasy booking would be justified. WWE is gonna do whatever they feel like doing, despite what the crowd wants, because they know you will come back every year regardless. It's the Royal Rumble! It starts the Road to WrestleMania! And there hasn't been a good one in a decade. They'll never do it, but Gran Metallik coming out (NOT as #30), getting treated like shit, tossed out through the ropes, vanishing, then coming back to toss Roman while he's celebrating to reveal he was Daniel Bryan all along.... It's right there. 2
hammerva Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 If the plan is for Roman Reigns to win, they better get the Rock, Daniel Bryan, Carson Wentz, and the Rocky statue raise his hand after the match in order to get a good reaction from it.
Doragon Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Balor wins the Rumble. Roman wins the Ec, if he's in it. Aj Styles vs Finn Balor at Wm for the WWE title. Anyway the universal title is the most important in WWE. So Roman vs Brock as Wrestlemania's main event. Or plans change.
Raziel Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 There's just something sticking out about that poster... 2
John from Cincinnati Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 She's got the whole world in her hands, she's got the whole wide world in her hands RUN 5

Nice Guy Eddie Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 That's Stephanie...always one to put talent over.
odessasteps Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I now think it's a meta thing to troll portions of the online world.
Godfrey Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I could've sworn it was a callback to a poster of Vince but a brief google only turned up this.
Matt D Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Not a real poster. That’s Steph from the old Elimination Chamber poster. 1

Brian Fowler Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Oh c'mon they'd never have a man win a prestigious first ever women's ma... Oh. Yeah. Money in the Bank 2
The Natural Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I may stay up to watch as it goes out. Let's be worth it.
Jiji Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I generally like the idea of two brands but it sure does kill the Royal Rumble's importance. Way too many winners have been featured in the midcard or undercard of Wrestlemania. I'll mostly be watching for schadenfreude. Can't wait for the crowd to turn on the men's match. I don't think Ronda not being there will turn the crowd but they'll probably be disappointed if she's not 30.

At least with the Bryan thing you could say that the WWE has teased a bunch of things of Bryan wrestling again (I mean I don't agree with it but at least you can make a case there). But outside of Rousey showing up at the MYC and her posting that she was training - there has been nothing on the WWE front. But clearly they will have "screwed" the fans if she isn't in it.
DeathyBoy Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Jordan has to be no 30. Philly will lose their shit. 2

When have they teased Bryan wrestling again?
