Red is Dead Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Finished beyond 2 souls. Decent last level, but disappointed I didnt get to see the aiden character in the infraworld. Now going to re-do my BL2 character in the GOTY edition.
BurningBeard Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 So I picked up Payday 2 when it was on sale on Steam and started playing with some friends, I have to say I'm really enjoying the game. It's fun to play with a bunch of people on skype and actually plan out the heists and then pray it all goes well. We were so stoked when we pulled a perfect stealth run on a hard Go Bank heist. I also found a great solo stealth mission for grinding cash/XP to, I was pretty much able to jump from level 1 to level 25 in a night to catch up with my friends. This makes me sad. I love crime fiction, and love a good heist story (the Parker books by Richard Stark are some of my faves and Heat is my favourite film of all time) so this game seemed tailor made for me. Alas I had no friends to play it with online on PS3 and the solo campaign AI was shocking so I traded it in

Tabe Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 New update to PS4 firmware coming that will enable Youtube integration and Share Play. If you're both PS+ members, you can do local co-op on games with an online friend - even in games with no online option.

Shane Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 This Frozen Synspse Prime game on PS+ seems pretty cool so far. Maybe a little more tactically hardcore than I'll be able to manage at later levels, but it oozes style and when you get a plan to work, you feel like a genius!
Death From Above Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I have played about 15 hours of Frozen Synapse on PC. It's really frustrating at first because you get punished for the most absolute, minute errors. Some levels I got stuck on forever, others I could breeze through. But there's definitely a good game there.

Cliff Hanger Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I played a little this morning, not knowing anything about the game except that it was free. I like the idea of a twin-stick shooter merged with Zelda, but the art style and the vibe aren't really for me. I also hate the idea of a twin-stick game with no 45-degree fire (you can curve your shots with momentum, but that is far from the same). Still, it's not locking up my PS4, which puts it one up on Frozen Synapse (which crashes my PS3 every single time at the 'set your screen size' screen.)

Salads Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Bought into the Rayman Origins hype. Got burned. TLOU is a much better HL2 than HL2 ever was. Finished Mega Man 2 and have hunger for the same but better. 3? 6? 7? 9?
