matt925 Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 There it is. Honestly no clue why they’d do a live rampage two days later. Just focus on one event.

Either they have something huge planned for Rampage or they think their first west coast trip is a big enough deal to sell out two LA shows (which it probably is). 1
Sammo~! Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Bummer the "West Coast Tour" is just 2 shows in SoCal. Would love to see them make it up to the Northwest. All this talk on TV about Piper in Portland, I'd love to see MJF come here to get booed out of the building, or a Darby/Danielson homecoming show in Seattle. 5

I think this is just the start of the west coast announcements. I’m looking forward to Bay Area myself.
Curt McGirt Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 What's the over-under on them working with PWG and NJ Strong talent down there?
Casey Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 People say their roster is already bloated as it is and you want them to bring in outside talent because they’re on the West Coast?
southofheavy Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 They're finally coming to Detroit in June. I'm telling myself it's 'cuz they got tired of me posting "Detroit." on every IG show announcement for the last three months. 3
The Natural Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 AEW Revolution this Sunday. Happy days. Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley, CM Punk vs. MJF and Dr Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa are my most anticipated matches. 3
Curt McGirt Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Because I want to see Super Dragon. ...that's really about it
zendragon Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 https://www.esquire.com/sports/a39008053/cm-punk-aew-profile/?utm_medium=social-media&src=socialflowTW&utm_campaign=socialflowTWESQ&utm_source=twitter Long article on CM punks return 2
Zimbra Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 I could definitely see Super Dragon doing something like they did with Homicide in New York. 2
Curt McGirt Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 (edited) Since he's back, Chris Dickenson would be a great get too. And you know, this doesn't have to be a one-way street. You know them and/or other indies are gonna book around those cards so having AEW talent show up on their shows would be fun too. Aside from all that a promotional battle even for one night only would be fun. Hell just a 5-on-5 match would work. Edited March 1, 2022 by Curt McGirt
The Natural Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Trent/Chuck Taylor vs. Santana/Ortiz Parking Lot Fight does feel underrated elsewhere, it gets it's props here as this board's the best going. I wouldn't give it ***** though. 5
Fartsauce Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 It was a great fight. I give it 4 out of 5 wipes.
The Natural Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 AEW is already looking ahead building young stars in Darby Allin, MJF, Dr Britt Baker, Sammy Guevara etc whereas WWE hasn't so rely on bringing old names back in Goldberg, Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. 3

I've had a really good feel watching the shows recently because, even tho you have the usual superstars in Mox, Bryan, Punk, etc. I think Darby and MJF could be given the top title at any time and it wouldn't feel out of place. Sammy is also doing great at the TNT Title level, what they've been doing with Wardlow is clearly working and he's getting veryover, Hobbs and Dante are having great lower card matches and killing it to great reactions, Jungle Boy is getting better by the day, Eddie feels like a massive star even tho he never wins, etc. Even with the influx of top talent in the past year it has really felt like lots of these younger guys are hitting their stride around the same time. True, hopefully the young lads go from strength to strength. Keeping hold of them when WWE comes sniffing will be vital.
Casey Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 I'd be willing to bet the "international pro wrestling promotion catalog" is CyberFight and everything that comes with that. NOAH, DDT, Tokyo Joshi, Ganbare, etc. 2
matt925 Posted March 2, 2022 Author Posted March 2, 2022 Double or nothing presale tomorrow. I’m keeping my eyes peeled for codes, I’ll post here if I find any.
Fartsauce Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 While that is a pretty big announcement I'm not sure how that's going to go over in front of a live crowd. It might go over like a....wet fart in church. 1
