NintendoLogic
Don't get too excited. It's just an Austin interview on wwe.com.
SUPrUNown
I would listen to Bray Wyatt's Fairy Tales any week.
PuroresuFan
I'm actually wondering why Ryback wore his gear inside out.
SirFozzie
Damnit, another week without the turning point, enough is way too freaking much already. The crowd would have been nuclear for Show to cold cock a member of the Shield.
MGFanJay
This was a show. One that tried to make Cody a star and dragged terribly. Good-ish stuff with Show and Bryan though. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/raw-9-2-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/t0mt9zvwxly7rbyug9q4b0j4gzglzd3s
notoriusvig
Why the hell didn't Cody raise hell on Triple H or something? He ain't got nothing to lose.
cool arrow
Yeah, that's it. I'm done. 1987-2013 It was nice while it lasted.
Raziel
Well, the burial is complete. Show's the actual one getting pushed. It was good while it lasted.
nofuture
So with Cody "fired", anyone hope we get the debut of Hijo de Midnight Rider soon?
hammerva
I know that when Big Show eventually kicks ass it is going to get a huge reaction but I am definitely getting a NWO vibe from this angle. We are probably going to get another month or two of this with nobody getting any comeback
brandonr4s
Ummm.... a little over the top from Big Show. I actually started laughing and I think even HHH was smirking towards the end. "What have I DONE?!!?!"
Cristobal
So someone explain to me what the point was of having Bryan be largely ineffectual against a not-fighting-back-yet Show, then have Show leave Bryan laying cleanly in the middle of the ring for the Shield to jump, followed by ages of weeping Big Show? I mean, as impressive as the crowd going mild for Orton's entrance into the ring was, (was that a boring chant?) I'm really failing to see how this leads to the big payoff. Who got over there? Who's going to buy Night of Champions tonight? Let's hear from all those folks who've been saying how brilliant this angle's been.
rzombie1988
I reviewed Raw with pics, gifs and audio here:http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/wwe-monday-night-raw-922013-results-and.htmlOverall thoughts: Not a great show wrestling wise but the promo's and angles were all very well done with Cody's promo at the end being good and Show's whole deal being well done. Some shots from the show:
Brian Fowler
I'm starting too feel that way too. Going past building heatand into emasculating the roster. Cody's exit promo was the first good thing he's done since losing the mask.
Overly Critical Man
The best thing that came out of this show is Steph saying that she was 12 years old in 1999.
Cristobal
The best thing that came out of this show is Steph saying that she was 12 years old in 1999. Which REALLY reflects poorly on Macho Man...
HumanChessgame
This is obviously leading up to a UNION-esque group vs. Team HHH match at Survivor Series so I'm wondering if Foley will come back as a ringleader/manager for the face team? NintendoLogic
If the goal of tonight's episode was to make me hate everyone on the roster other than Cody Rhodes, it was a smashing success.
piranesi
So that ending was just mental, right? Like if anyone who wasn't following closely tuned into the last 15 minutes, that must have seemed like the most bizarre sequence of events and character reactions. This angle is being booked according to the Werner Herzog school of philosophical ecstasy (yes, I watched the TCM show about FRITZCARRALDO tonight)...Like, I could hear his voice: "The giant has made the mistake of claiming humanity in the natural world, a world made up of only fornication and asphyxiation. His folly is to believe in the fairy tale of morality that we learn as children so that our parents might sleep at night without fear that we will kill them. The small bearded man has embraced the pain and the chaos that is the order of the world. He will thrive and breathe deeply until his slaughter which will happen soon. Which will suffer more? Undoubtedly the giant."
DylanWaco
I really like Show and I really like Bryan and I actually like how Steph and (god help me) even HHH have been in this angle for the most part, but my god did I hate that ending. Just awful on every level. I actually don't want to watch NOC now and I had been planning on actually buying it which I virtually never do. The whole show sucked really other than Bully Ryback being awesome and Orton/Rhodes which was shockingly good
