Matt D
The end of the night's going to come and instead of Bryan, Rey Mysterio's going to come out and everyone will boo.
Charlie M.
They'll probably do some angle where Daniel Bryan is going to make a big announcement but Miz cuts him off and AJ makes the save. And then we won't see Bryan on TV again forever.
Casey
guys he's just there to announce that Tide is the official sponsor of WWE Fastlane. There will be a backstage skit where he washes Luke Harper's shirt too.

nate
There's a rule of thumb in community mental health, regarding people who are truly mentally ill vs. those malingering for disability. Usually, it's a disability play if someone thinks that they're "too sick to hold a job." If a person really wants to work & genuinely laments the adverse impact that their symptoms have on their ability to hold a job but they keep trying anyway, they're probably really mentally ill and need treatment. So Daniel Bryan is mentally ill. On another issue, if Bryan wants out of his contract, he should start trying to unionize the other wrestlers. That'll probably do it.

Phantom Lord
Well if they give him a live mic and this isn't an angle, I hope he goes scorched earth.
Matt D
My gut says that there aren't enough "wrestling guys" on the booking team to think doing an angle here over this, in 2016, would be a good idea.

mattdangerously
If he sued they would let him out of it. Can't drag the "indpendant contractor" stuff into the light like that. The WWE pretty much just banks on nobody wanting to spend the money to really challenge the independent contractor thing in court. If someone with a serious bankroll decided to call their bluff, the WWE would have a problem on their hands. Didn't Del Rio get out of the no-compete clause in his contract after his release because AAA decided to foot the bill for him to challenge it?

BEN!
HOT TAKE! Scott Steiner's TNA run is his best post-mullet run. Yeah, he was shot physically but he made up for it on the mic.

mattdangerously
Holy fuck, those Steiner videos were amazing. The Steiner/Foley interaction was like an honest-to-god TV show. Who knew Scotty had range? Holy shit. I've never seen that before, but ye Gods, Steiner was fantastic in the video with Mick. And Steiner's match against Samoa Joe at Slammiversary is a total blast. It's not a Joe carry job either--Big Poppa Pump brought his working boots that night.

Big Fresh
Why is it the best thing WWE does is capitalize on tragedies for their benefit? The situations are so naturally dramatic that it would be hard to screw up presenting them.
Brysynner
So with a rash of NFL players retiring younger and the Daniel Bryan retirement, is this new trend something WWE needs to concern themselves with? I'm not sure on what education backgrounds people like Owens, Ambrose, Rollins, etc. have but if they can afford to retire from WWE and make a comfortable living, it could be possible considering the wear and tear on their bodies along with the potential to start families or continue raising them in Owens case. Someone like Roman Reigns, who could make a comfortable living outside of WWE, I could see retiring by WM35 or just not re-signing with WWE if his contract comes up before then.
