Matt D
I'm cool with this not being an angle and all, but they could have at least had Kevin Owens get heat on Sami Zayn by having Zayn lose a match where Bryan's beard was on the line. J.T.
Is this a legit retirement or a Mark Henry retirement? I am kinda hoping it is real. If Bree was my wife, I would kinda like to spend the rest of my off-career with her standing up under my own power and not sporting a neck brace. Get out while you can still walk unassisted and you don't have brain damage.

Playa Shunna Ver 3.0
Guy had a way better run in WWE that I ever expected. Hopefully he retires, gets cleared in a few months, and works somewhere like ROH for the rest of his career. If not, then best of luck to him. He's got Brie Bella to bang and a ton of money. Time to start a family and organic strawberry farm.
Charlie M.
Turns out Daniel Bryan cutting his hair and trimming his beard is the wrestling equivalent of a hockey player getting his teeth fixed.
Greggulator
Would be awesome if this was an angle where someone like Kevin Owens took him out to build to an awesome revenge storyline. If not, kudos to an awesome career. Bryan was amazing and his high-water mark was possibly the best story the WWE ever told.
Patrick B.
Disappointed, but he's gotta do what's best for him.
Brysynner
I hope this is real because hopefully it will lessen the amount of Daniel Bryan's coming back rumors and put him in the Stone Cold territory of maybe he'll come back for one match and instead he just randomly shows up and hit his flying knee on some random heel. JCM
This is an even more elaborate work than Vince sending Punk to UFC to ruin their credibility.
Matt D
I can't wait for him to sneak down to Arena Mexico under a mask to hide his identity and work the Anniversary show like he said he wanted to. Think of the drama on that mask match!

Phantom Lord
I'm sorry, but I just can't take the word of Dr. Maroon over those of ones at UCLA and others. Him refusing to clear Bryan is too much of a bias towards the company.
Casey
If it IS a work, they better get ready to have every other face on the roster being overshadowed by Bryan again. No one is going to care about the Roman/Lesnar/Ambrose/HHH saga. Everyone's attention will be on Daniel Bryan. That's why I don't think this is a work. ChrisM
Any chance that this is an angle to set up AJ vs. Bryan at Mania? "One more match", and all that....

Unless Bryan is being injected straight into the top of the card saga on some way. Look, Vince has to fill Jerry World and his "superstars" are falling like flies. Greggulator
KO hitting an apron powerbomb on Bryan tonight would get riot-like heat.

SirSmUgly
I have no clue what to believe. This company is not above using injuries for heat (see Lawler's heart attack). If Bryan legit retires, I won't be shocked. If Owens comes out and powerbombs him, I won't be shocked.
hammerva
So if the Authority and/or commentators rip on him in the show (which I am 90% sure will happen), should we assume that this is a work or just the WWE being the petty assholes that they can be?
