Melraz and I absolutely destroyed a room last night. Those dots were not good. Saw my first Kitt car. We shot the guy out of it, but didn't get a chance to blow it up. Then we got a room dump and ended up by ourselves in a public. Sold my first car collection, just two cars. We had NPC assholes coming after us on that one. We did a couple of those special collection missions with Mis too. Did the ones to get the quad bike and technical that work in the water. Unfortunately, you only get the price drop if you are the CEO for the mission. Missions are pretty fun. Technical one is hard if you play it straight. We drove up to the location, triggered all the assholes, then hightailed it back to land and shot em all from there. Respawns made it challenging, but at least it was manageable that way. We had connection problems at first, so I had to join melraz twice. First time I joined I got the melraz killed x message before I loaded in. Second time I got melraz kiled y and melraz kiled z before I fully joined. Also, I looked at my stats real quick after we were done for the night. I've driven 20000 miles in the game. I've had 29500+ traffic accidents. No Allstate safe driver bonus for me.3 points

Booker T has needed to get off my TV since he debuted as an announcer on WWE TV some years ago. So fucking annoying and he's easily worse than Jerry Lawler, in my opinion. @Burgundy LaRue I agree. It's obvious they're trying to go back to Rusev being controlled by Lana, which is fine I guess. But if that's the case, and we're judging the Enzo/Cass/Rusev storyline, I don't see a way in which Rusev or Lana are the faces. She played a long con with Enzo, convinced him to come to her hotel room, seduced him when he had obvious doubts about the situation, and then had her husband hiding in the bathroom and he beat the shit out of Enzo. It'd be one thing if Lana was the helpless woman, trying to get out from underneath Rusev's crushing jealously or whatever, but it's not that kind of narrative at all.2 points

Starting this January on MeTV are Kolchak: The Night Stalker on Sunday nights, MacGuyver weeknights at 9:00, and MANNIX late week nights at 2:00. That makes Sunday night a COLUMBO/KOLCHAK double feature every week and that's pretty goddamn great.2 points

I don't think it's so much who it is as it is they have been trying to put the weight behind everyone possible. I mean I still remember the UFC's announcement at UFC 126 after Jones-Bader where Rogan told JBJ that he was stepping in for his then teammate Rashad Evans against Shogun at UFC 128. Keep in mind, those Versus events months prior were basically a platform to build Jon Jones. Once they notice who is the real, legitimate talent, they go full bore. The same with McGregor because they were told a year or so in advance while he was in Cage Warriors that they HAD to sign McGregor. Bellator had a shot to sign him. WSOF could've signed him. A lot of things could have went different and changed MMA completely because he sat in CWFC for a hot minute. Once the UFC signed him and he then beat Brimage, they went all in despite all the criticism and there was a lot. When he got the main event, blackout entrance against Holloway on the first ever FS1 show in Boston, I knew there was no turning back. I think the Zuffa era was full of calculated risks. Some of them worked and some of them didn't work at all. I think it was more or less, when they were going to take those risks. I think last night was different in that Paige and Sage are left over from the Zuffa era and not exactly WME-IMG products. The new regime isn't beholden to keeping those two people in the main event. The overnight ratings were pretty good, but that doesn't mean the show will go on as usual. I see WME-IMG doing what Bellator has failed to do since Kimbo passed, and that's trying to make notable fights separated from the main contendership fights. If PVZ is a ratings draw, why put her against a top 10-15 strawweight just because Paige is a ranked strawweight. If you're a strong A side, you don't have to be fighting a strong B side. She should be having more Kailin Curran type fights instead of "Hey, Rose Namajunas who is a much better fighter than Paige's original opponent...why not her as a replacement?". That's very shortsighted booking even if you feel like you need a big fight for Fight Pass.2 points

Theres my little buddy. Man that room was great. Need to find em like that more often. I dont have the warehouse yet. I havent even seen how that stuff plays. Im down to 700,000 so no more purchases for me. Dalm i really want that jet-ski 4wheeler too.2 points

So I just got on with my 2.75 million to become a CEO and see what you all have been talking about. What a humbling experience. I might as well have signed on with a roll of quarters for all that bought me. Cheapest office and smallest warehouse I could find - gun locker and safe only...(seriously - 900k for a cot in the back of the office??? I don't type this often, but LO fucking L.) I bought 2k worth of crates and took off to get them, even though I knew the risks in a public room. Had to get out of the slow ass box truck to kill a guy twice, but I made it back. Looked at my brand new 500k bank account and said, "Yeah I'm gonna wait for the next glitch" and signed off while I was ahead.2 points

Rogue One is an excellent accompany piece because it explains the one big great plot hole in A New Hope. Overs the years, everyone from film critics to comic fans to Robot Chicken to Family Guy have joked about “Why build such a big, scary expensive death star with such a glaringly obviously flaw?” Answer; Because the guy who helped create it secretly hated the empire and was sabotaging that thing from the get to. And instantly told the Alliance about that glaringly obviously flaw.. A truly dazzling, quirky little film twist. And it makes complete and total sense.2 points

Also, a word of warning to random GTA guy. If you roll up on me in your expensive ass POV honking your horn, I might not shoot you. If you sit there honking for 30 seconds, I will absolutely shoot you in the face with an RPG. Just FYI.2 points

Roman vs Sheamus from last year's TLC made its way onto WWE's Youtube channel. Sans the epic post-match segment. Because it makes Hunter look weak, I guess? Never change, you guys.2 points

I have to see the movie again because I worked all day and almost dozed off a few times but that Vader scene at the end was the best fucking thing ever.2 points

Should have done Rollins/Reigns vs. Jericho/Owens as the main event. Title on the line. Winner of the fall gets the title, their partner is #1 contender at the Rumble, losing team face off to determine who gets 1 and 30 respectively at the Rumble. Logical start of the Owens/Jericho program, makes Rollins a real threat at 30, and gives a good story of Reigns going in at #1 again. Instead two singles matches I couldn't care less about.2 points

That's my guess, the boy has the Bo pointy chin and eyes and I'm pretty sure the sister on his back has a similar chin. And it would be my guess that Bray is waiting to get off a shot from the Sharky Knoll.1 point

I'd say that I'd be comfortable at this point that the Bills won't be the 1-15, but having any sort of confidence in this team usually ends in misery.1 point

Browns pull within 7. If the Bills find a way to blow this(I don't expect them too) Rex needs to commit Seppeku on the field. . . .1 point

She should be opening up the main cards instead of headlining them. I think she expected to improve tenfold going from Reno to Sacramento but it didn't happen. Most of her time at TAM, there was a lot of turnover (and disarray) there before they decided on Justin Buchholz as head coach just months ago. I think she has a better shot going to like AKA where there are plenty of coaches to help her develop. I think she needs to work on her striking and her ground game. Of course, she is already talking about pursuing other opportunities but that comes off losing. They should be allowing her to step gradually instead of throwing her in there with people far more mature than her and expecting her to step up big time.1 point

You know, had this been the final episode ever of TNA it would have been a perfect series finale. The Hardy's standing tall. A new baby on the way. What more could you ask for. Hell, a no-contest in the world title match where the World champion sort of just disapeared off into the North Carolina woods would have been the most fitting TNA ending ever.1 point

last week's episode of WCW Thunder (12/9/99) featured the "team" of Mike Tenay and Juventud Guerrera on commentary. There was also a revolving door for the third member of the announce team. Now, to be fair, none of the matches were great, but this show was just horrendous to watch, largely because of Juvi.1 point

What was the deal with that episode anyways? What was holding it back from being on WWEN despite the fact it had already been on the old Classics On Demand. Not that I really care. It's not a great episode, though I thought it was cool when I was 10, but it just seems strange.1 point

I enjoyed Matt telling Shane Helms he was looking forward to the return of Three Count, too. Those DCC promos are a lot less creepy/intimidating now considering they have never accomplished anything and made to look like chumps the entire time. Eddie Edwards as WC is not clicking with me. Felt that EC3-EE match that was kind of built up to for months was nearly as entertaining as the EC3-Drake match. Felt like a really anticlimactic way to end the year of Impact, as well.1 point
