The problem are the heels like the NWO, DX, etc. that played for cheers while also making the babyfaces look like fools at every turn and never letting them get any get back. This. For as cool as the Horsemen were, they were kind of booked like chumps who regularly got their comeuppance. They were like the bullies in an 80s teen movie. Sure, they're cool but the good underdog always topples them. The nWo never got a real comeuppance. The nWo were terrible heels because they were cool AND always came out on top.
