mattdangerously
Warning to anyone who was looking forward to reading the C.M. Punk-written story in tomorrow's Strange Sports Stories #1: It's not in this issue. DC pulled a bait and switch.
Jenalysis
I loved that Regal feud. Not sure which one was better Regal-Zybisco or the Cody-Booker T one from a few years back.
just drew
Roman and Randy Gregory= Reign of Doom Over/Under on when WWE will sign Cody Hall? As of November, when i last spoke to him, Cody's interest in WWE is tepid at best. I think there are some serious reservations about what that lifestyle did to his dad... Curt McGirt
If you've got a job in New Japan, why would you ever want to work the schedule WWE has, aside from homesickness? I understand why Albert came back with his wife having a kid and all. I get why KENTA would leave, because NOAH wasn't doing shit and it's a chance to go to a new country. Devitt... I don't get that at all. If Cody has a chance to be the next 'Murican Hoss in Japan he should run with it.
Stay Gold
Yeah, but Devitt could probably just go back to New Japan if his run with the WWE doesn't work out. And I'd guess he's happy being in a place where he can clearly communicate with most people. I'm watching the NJ Cup Finals and just finished watching Cody Hall's match. I was pleasantly surprised. He looked lost in between some spots, and maybe he should stop doing a pose before every big move he's gonna hit, but it was fun. Loved the announcers going bonkers for the rolling lariat. Credit to Honma also, for being awesome and selling it like a champ.

Jiji
That's better than the God awful listing posted last week. I would've liked to see one of the Dutch matches and certainly something with Bock make the cut but you've got the Bret stuff, some Memphis, and his venture into mutant territory. Too WWE centric but what were we to expect?
Curt McGirt
Yeah, but goddamn... Jerry vs. Jim Powers, and Al Jackson? How many other high-profile legends get jobber matches on their discs?
Brian Fowler
I'm guessing/hoping those are "Lawler does commentary while wrestling" matches.
HumanChessgame
Yeah, but goddamn... Jerry vs. Jim Powers, and Al Jackson? How many other high-profile legends get jobber matches on their discs? Jackson's offense consists of punches and a missile dropkick. Jobber or not, that ought to earn him a slot in March Madness.
ARMDRAGON
There have been a lot of jobber matches included lately, especially on Warrior's. The newer sets are more about rarities than actual best-of's.
Godfrey
I like Cody Hall for the same reason I like Baron Corbin: they're big guys who might be green but have big futures if they play their cards right. Hall vs Corbin at Wrestlemania 37! Book it!
Rehabilitated Rick
Cody has a LONG way to go, I respect Scott for wanting an old school touring of the continents education for Cody rather than giving him straight up to NXT. Corbin on the other hand has a crazy presence on NXT and massive potential, one of my favorites to watch currently. oh and this -
Curt McGirt
There have been a lot of jobber matches included lately, especially on Warrior's. Well that only makes sense in his case. EDIT: That trailer, with all the fake names... had to watch it twice. "EL CAPONE" "FAT MISTERIO, JR." "HIJO DEL JOHN CENA" "MISSING PERSON FROM 14 YEARS AGO" They should have shown Ivelisse when they did "COMPETENT DIVA" though.

Big Fresh
A bit late to the party but ... "Here's $5 for the 'Suck my Dick' shirt, please." Actually it was a "Dick sucker" shirt. The difference is important because it switches the shirt's owner from the suckee to the sucker.
Jenalysis
Heel Lawler was one of the great jobber-squashers, just because of how he'd talk on the mic while he did it. The closest I've seen to that was the Rock doing a bit of it a couple of times, and the Smokin' Giant and Drinkin' Scott Hall gimmicks in WCW.
