Ferrara and Dijak were not guys that should have been on the first "nationwide" episode. And Silas Young is to Man's Man brawler as Charlie Haas is to "technical wrestler". During every Haas match all they ever talked about was his technical ability but all he did was throw bad punches and do poor rope running. Young gets constantly talked about as a manly asskicker, and looks like a manly asskicker, and then wrestles like a worse Johnny Gargano. It doesn't fit. Local guys worked the six-man tag dark match and a couple of other local guys were Dalton Castle's "boys". Nice surprise with Sydal and Delirious scoring the non-title upset over Addiction. Jushin Liger has lost weight. Sadly Dalton Castle was not a good opponent. He looks like a CHIKARA jobber. Commentary kinda bores me. Opening angle with Daniels/Kazarian and ReDRagon was a bit out of nowhere. The main event was rather boring. Bullet Club brings nothing for me at this point. Maria Kanellis looks like a pornstar. Mandy Leon brings nothing to the broadcast. All in all, a show with almost no reedeeming qualities. Even Daniels and Kazarian looked like they wanted to be anywhere else. Young would be one of my current favorites if all he did was cut 'Man's Man' promos and look like Bill Cowher's illegitimate brother. But he inevitably wrestles a match and my interest drains away. Mandy Leon looks really nice, but she kinda sucks during those Inside ROH segments. Of course, Larry Mercer sucked at it too, and I would rather look at her, so that's an upgrade. I liked the Liger/Castle match a lot. I didn't like much else on this week's episode though. When did Doc Gallows start painting his face for no apparent reason? caley Posted June 7, 2015 Share Posted June 7, 2015 Addiction-KOR was...whatever. I don't really care for O'Reilly, but I like heel Daniels. I maintain if he'd found this character about ten years ago, he probably would have had a short run in WWE at least. Castle-Liger was just extraordinarily fun. I loved Liger bringing his boys into the ring, followed by Castle dressing down his boys for doing it. Cheeseburger-Bob looked less like a wrestling match and more like a lovers quarrel or two guys fighting in the park. I mean, neither guy looks like a wrestler, neither guy does much interesting wrestling, and I hated them doing a big table spot to try to make it seem important. Kingdom-Bullet Club was an ill-advised mess. I don't watch NJPW, because I don't like to pay to watch anything, but the Bullet Club is basically NJPW wanting to bring back the NWO and not having the rights so they just stole the NWO's hand gestures and catchphrases (Does their shirt seriously say BC 4 Life?!), right? Doc Gallows might have the worst look in all of pro wrestling: stupid facepaint, ugly weird pants, ill-fitting shirt. Just dreadful. The match was all right, except for the part where you have the "good guys" being booked so that one of them repeatedly chases a woman around the ring (Add in a mis-timed part where he actually kicks her in the head for good measure) then at the end they drag her into the ring by her hair, one guy puts his hand to her head and mimes shooting her with a gun, while they pick her up together to put her through a table as the crowd cheers them on.
