Matt D
Holy crap. Sonny Onoo' name is really Sonny Onoo? I thought they were just being racist and named him that way.
cool arrow
I'm probably going to regret this, but what, pray tell, is "racist" about Sonny Onoo? The name, I mean.
Matt D
What's racist is more bobby heenan mocking him than the name itself (every time he came out there was at least one Cher joke and probably one with Yoko Ono). I had thought they picked a name specifically so it could be mocked easily by their announcers and babyfaces in interviews.

HumanChessgame
How much creative input does Heyman have these days? I'd heard that in the past he and Stephanie had beef with eachother (no clue how true that actually is), but I was wondering how likely it might be that he get a more prominent show runner/writing role after Vince steps down? Craig H
Regarding Heyman, as far as I know, which is based off of interviews with him, none. He doesn't have an interest in being in that meat grinder anymore and prefers to show up for work and then head back home to be with his kids. Curt McGirt
Him and Steph had serious beef at the end of WWECW. According to the unauthorized ECW book, it came to a head when they started bickering and he finally told her (literally) "fuck off" at a meeting; Heyman was gone shortly after. The Nature Boy
Vince McMahon deciding to overrule HHH and put Batista on top instead of Bryan because SummerSlam didn't sell is precisely why Vince needs to step aside and let HHH/Steph take over. That's fucking 10 for Raw and Smackdown each which is still 5 too many per show. "The hardcore fans cringe when we say this. Remember how Vince told Austin that WWE doesn't do wrestling? It's refreshing to see that Triple H doesn't buy into that.
Technico Support
I remember some interview during the Attitude Era where Vince said something like, "other people in the entertainment business ask me, 'when are you going to get rid of that ring?'"" Granted, these people only existed in Vince's head, but that tells you what his mindset is. The man despises the thing that made him successful and desperately wishes he was doing, I guess, some sort of scripted entertainment variety show of something. You know, "legitimate" entertainment instead of rasslin'.
mattdangerously
Heyman said him and Steph got along at the end and she was having to referee him and Vince. Yeah, Heyman left when it became apparent that his and Vince's conflicting visions for ECW weren't going to be able to coexist.

I'll never have anything close to the amount of money Vince McMahon does and I'm completely fine with that. I love my line of work and I'm ok with the person I turned out to be.
ebbie
I always feel like people talk about Kevin Dunn like he is Mr. Big. Like he's the root of all evil doing in the movie and when it is revealed what he really looks like you're left with the feeling of 'That's it?' Not shocked because you know what he looks like because you're expecting someone more menacing looking.
Craig H
Weird finisher question... I really love the standing Boston crab and wished Jericho used that move than the traditional Boston crab. Given the talk about the Sharpshooter/Scorpion Deathlock in the WM thread, has anyone ever used a standing Sharpshooter as a finisher?

The two saw a pair of distinct but related missions as they decided to go forward with this story. The first was well under way—making fans fall in love with the unlikely Bryan. The harder job, they thought, would be making Stephanie one of the most believable, gleefully evil characters in WWE history the hardest part of the Daniel Bryan storyline would be making Steph a heel authority figure? she's been doing that for years. SirSmUgly
So HHH and Stephanie were behind Bryan as a main eventer, but Vince was not? Is that pretty much what that's saying?

BrianS81177
Considering he's been the driving force behind signing Mistico, KENTA and Devitt I can buy Trips being willing to back a smaller guy as a big time player.

Skelemania
Considering he's been the driving force behind signing Mistico, KENTA and Devitt I can buy Trips being willing to back a smaller guy as a big time player. He also grew up a fan of Ric Flair & Harley Race, not so much guys like Hulk Hogan. And his best friend is Shawn Michaels. So he's seen that size isn't all that matters in wrestling. I'm not sure if Vince McMahon ever believed that though. Even after Rey Mysterio or Eddie Guerrero. He'll always seemingly go back to a guy like Batista. mco543
It should be noted that one of Vince's all time favorite wrestlers was Jimmy Yang so while he prefers bigger guys ontop of the card he does like smaller wrestlers.
