Recommended Posts

In regards to that "After Raw" set.

Per someone who already reviewed it

Match lengths:

0:29:33 – Triple H & Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels & Randy Orton (2/14/2005) [Match length: 17:26]
0:18:34 – John Cena vs. Edge (07/17/06) [Match length: 13:22]
0:09:54 – Triple H vs. Randy Orton (8/27/07) [Match length: 4:31]
0:11:43 – John Cena vs. CM Punk (07/11/11) [Match length: 8:30]
0:12:39 – Orton, Show & Sheamus vs. Bryan, Kane & Rhodes (04/02/12) [Match length: 8:06]

And one of the Austin segments apparently lasts 40 fucking minutes

Apropos of nothing, but gotta say I'm finding the Uproxx.com wrestling reviews to be some of the more entertaining stuff around. Wasting time at work reading reviews of NXT season 1, which, needless to say, is fascinating on a lot of levels.

yeah no surprise but the idea that the death was "natural" is a bit of a stretch given his history in the 80's and early 90's.

That is what natural means and this is anecdotal, but my uncle was in his late 40s, in fairly good shape, no prior health issues, and he died of a massive heart attack while driving home after purchasing a wedding present for his daughter.

I thought the real Ultimate Warrior died years ago. I heard the armband gimmicks he wore cut off circulation and caused a stroke or something like that. (heh, who remembers having those convos with kids at school way back when?)

Yeah, that and the "Kane was the first Undertaker" were my personal favorites.

There should be a "common wrestling misconception/false rumor" thread. We could mourn the death of Paul Orndorff.

I don't think we can be trusted with a thread like that. I'd give it three to five days before Rippa or Jae would lock it and throw out the BAN hammer. . .too bad it would be interesting.

Everyone might want to check their DVRs, I just did and RAW is split up into 3 seperate one hour shows, and listed as a repeat featuring highlights from WrestleMania 29 with The Rock. Just a heads up, don't know if it's exclusively a Charter thing or not.

Interesting tidbit from today's F4W update:

IWF on Saturday night in Nutley, NJ before 700 fans:  Todd Pettingill hosted the show.  Kevin Knight b Kasey Coresh, Anthony Bowens b Marc Corino, Marty Jannetty & Mike Dennis (managed by Jim Powers) b Shane O'Brien & Nicky Oceans, Tito Santana & The Gambler b Michael T Blake & Dr Hurtz, Phat Big Daddy Biggie Biggs b Justin Corino & Corey Havoc & Wayne Woo in a four-way, Roman Zachary b Tommy Dreamer to keep IWF title

Anybody know if that's The Gambler?
