Buy Me a Burrito Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 God I love a good Ayn Rand bashing. Fuck that bitch. Also, I love a good Dick Slater podcast. 2
Hoarr Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 just wait until John Stossel is on the show and Steve asks him about the John Stossel incident. Also, I think Austin is in an exclusive group of people who liked Ole Anderson If I had free time, I would edit a podcast compilation of every time Austin asks that Stossel question. In fact, I get disappointed now when it doesn't come up.

No way do these two NOT talk about that subject.
odessasteps Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 They might have discussed it in the podcast that didnt record properly.
Petey Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I hope Steve gets to eventually interview John Stossel so he can ask John Stossel about the Stossel incident.
Petey Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Also, just started listening to the Cornette interview and apparently it was Austin's birthday. He made mention that his mom generally always makes him fried chicken and mashed potatoes every year for his birthday. I can't stop giggling at the image of a late 40's Stone Cold Steve Austin sitting at his mom's kitchen table with an adult bib waiting to be served friend chicken and potatoes. The man is the greatest. 1
TerjeRUN Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I hope Steve gets to eventually interview John Stossel so he can ask John Stossel about the Stossel incident. Even better, he asks him if wrestling is fake. 1

I can't stop giggling at the image of a late 40's Stone Cold Steve Austin sitting at his mom's kitchen table with an adult bib waiting to be served friend chicken and potatoes. The man is the greatest. With his laptop next to him as he watches old tag team matches on Youtube. "Honey please turn that off." "God damn mom the hot tag is coming up, I can smell it."
Cobra Commander Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 the "Austin likes almost everybody" thing would really get amplified if he got Jeff Jarrett on the show, considering that Austin was unhappy about Jarrett's return promo in 1997 bashing Austin 3:16
odessasteps Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I'd like to see jeff and jerry on the show. I bet Austin remembered his $25 memphis payoffs.
odessasteps Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Part 2 of cornette up already. Merry xmas.
Cobra Commander Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 that episode was brought to you by the tremendous Condrey/Hickerson story 2
Josh Mann Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Just listen. That story defies description.
The Great ML Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 A rib within a rib, possibly inside another rib. My head hurts...dadgum Dennis Condrey, you carny sonofagun.
MADCAP Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I would've slit Condrey's throat but.....I never would've put myself in that position.
Tromatagon Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 what a fucking Always Sunny episode that was
Curt McGirt Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I had to listen to this one based on not knowing what that story was and I'll be damned if that wasn't the most layered and cold-ass rib ever. Nobody spoil it on here! I'm not a guy who's seen all his shoots or anything so it was nice to hear Corny laid-back and having fun instead of ranting and raving.
mco543 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Holy shit that Condrey/Hickerson rib. Amazing. Best fucking rib story I've ever heard. It's the Citizen Kane of rib stories. All the shoots I've heard with Cornette and I've never heard that before.
Craig H Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Add me to the list of those blow away by the double reverse rib. Holy fucking shit. So fucked up.
Cristobal Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 After all those "Steveweisers", I'm intrigued that his birthday beer was apparently Sierra Nevada Torpedo. Good to see the man's got some taste. Also: That rib. That fucking rib.
Curt McGirt Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 What the hell was that name supposed to mean anyway?
Hagan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Yeah, I've been telling people that rib story all day. Speaking of Corny - his podcast has picked up. I think someone told him to tone down the virulent negativity and just shoot the shit about the good old days. His talk with Kenny Bolin is one of the more hilarious Southern wrestling carny things you'll ever hear.
cubbymark Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I finally got around to listen to the Cornette interviews because of how much everyone on here was talking up the rib. Dennis Condrey: Cold. Hearted. Snake. If you can picture that rib story being played alongside this Paula Abdul hit, holy shit.
Josh Mann Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 It's funny that Austin made a case that one of the WWE's problems was that they were trying so hard to be entertaining that WWE seemed to forget that occasionally you have to piss the fans off as a way of compelling them, and then a few days after recording that, Daniel Bryan joins the Wyatts. Stone Cold Steve Austin: Prophet of Rage.
