HumanChessgame
I was kinda looking forward to that when it was rumored to be coming to HBO in an episode per issue format, but it would be hard enough to get the series to translate over to premium cable much less AMC. I'll still watch it should it come to pass.
_MJ_
I wouldn't worry too much about the violence and gory stuff getting tone down or even censored out. AMC allows The Walking Dead to do its thing and it's a very graphic show. Basic cable can actually get away with lot of iffy things when they have compelling reasons (i.e. insanely high Walking Dead ratings) to ignore the censors and parental groups. The thing to worry about is obviously all the religious dogma, blasphemy, or whatever you want to call it in Preacher. You can't really tip-toe around it in this story. Ryan
Cable sort of self-censors.
Bustronaut
Well, each channel has their own standards and practices, but cable can legally run unedited porn if they want because you're making the choice to pay for the programming.
Curt McGirt
Broad City really is a cut above most of the other Comedy Central dreck. But then you get two cute pothead chicks stripping in the first ep and that will get my attention no matter what. Said sexual bullshit aside it is really fucking funny. And it has Hannibal Buress! I'm also coming around on @Midnight. Lots of good comedians, lots of good improv jokes. They made a Jeselnik reference the other night that about made me spit out my drink.
Brian Fowler
Because I'm on the cutting edge of pop culture, I've started watching this crime drama called The Sopranos. The confession/communion scene in the 5th episode has me sold. God damn.

Yeah, but they still need advertisers and they don't want to draw too much attention from government officials and the FCC, who could in theory change things if they ever felt compelled. It certainly loses momentum at a certain point but it goes without saying its one of the best shows ever.
Brian Fowler
Yeah. Caught an ep or two cut to shit on A&E, but otherwise first time.

Carmella has a great talk with a shrink in season 3, that is similar, (but actually far better) and one of the best scenes the show ever did. RandomAct
I wanted to see a Preacher series or movie 15 or so years ago, and never thought I'd ever see it happen. Oh the times, they are a changin.

Ace
I think tonight is Jay Leno's last night as the host of...ah screw it. No one cares here. I'd love to see the old Jay pop up in 6 months on Letterman to rant like he did in the 80s.

I think Jay might be back for a third stint, Fallon looks like the drizziling shits, then again I'm a little too old for his stuff anyway. . . . Craig H
I like Fallon a lot. He's come a long, long way since he started. Are The Roots coming with Fallon?

offspring515
I like Fallon a lot. He's come a long, long way since he started. Are The Roots coming with Fallon? Yes they are. I like Fallon. Most people who rip him are still upset because he giggled and ruined the rock solid writing in the 65th Jaret's Room sketch.
Curt McGirt
I'm not a fan but Fallon came off as a real nice guy in the new Inside Comedy ep (David Steinberg's Showtime series where he talks to comedians about their work and lives. Not as good as The Green Room but I can watch comedians chat about their craft all day long).
The Natural
The fourth episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine aired last night in the UK. A very funny episode from a very funny series. My Dad watched it for the first time last night and really liked it.
elizium
Just started getting into it as well. Avoided it for most of the year due to Samberg bias, but I'm really glad I'm giving it a shot. Just a fantastic cast, all around.

RandomAct
I'm sure Fallon will work out. He HAS gotten better, and most of all, he's exactly what NBC wants. He's not going to rock the boat or be as weird as Conan. He's young and "hip" enough for the 20-somethings, but safe enough for their coveted middle aged white male demo. Ryan
There aren't a lot of programs these days where that's your coveted demographic generally, but whatever works.
