Saraya is so tough as I really liked her in WWE. The stuff with her personal life was really difficult and sympathetic, along with her neck injury, I think everyone was rooting for her. But it turns out she very possibly is not a good person and certainly is no longer a good wrestler, I don't understand why TK would keep her with the size of their roster and the fact she brings very little to the table at this point.

I bet she signed for a big money contract coming back from her injury as a perceived top star, and I imagine it’ll be hard to justify keeping her on those wages when she’s only in like the 3rd or 4th tier women’s feud these days.

AxB put a tweet on Discord with a clip from her storming the post-show scrum with her family.  On her way out she was mocking the "They/Them" pronouns and along with her piece-of-shit boyfriend she is the one person I hope is fired and not wrestling again.  And if WWE considers bringing her back I hope people send all the evidence necessary to point out why that'd be a bad idea.

As for Britt I like her yet she just hasn't been good since coming back.  Maybe it's post-injury nerves or something else but she has regressed quite a bit.  I'll still hold out hope things turn around but the more matches she has like these the harder it might be to justify wanting to see wrestle.

I forgot Saraya is dating a POS and she's one too. Sucks.

Ooooof, I didn't catch her mocking the pronouns thing - that's rotten. I was actually going to chime in and say her midcard gatekeeper act was just fine with me, and her banter with Harley, the audience, and the camera operators was funny enough.

Oh well, if nothing else, she leaves but at least helped give Harley something to do for a while.

Yeah, she seems like a real nightmare of a person but she's been great as second and on the apron as a tag partner.  Which probably isn't enough to really justify keeping her around.

From looking around social media, its incredibly rare for there to be a wrestler that no fans like or defend, but man no one likes Britt Baker. Whether it be for her behind-the-scenes issues (the Thunder Rosa situation in particular) or her in-ring wrestling, since Sunday I've seen not one person be like "Britt is great, you guys are wrong." I don't know what they can do with her, it just seems like no one wants to see her wrestling. Course, people don't want to see Saraya either and she's still on Dynamite weekly so I'm not saying Britt will be gone soon, its just incredible to me how far she has fallen as she was fairly popular when the promotion started.

The best thing I read, regarding Brit losing a step and being sluggish in the ring, was “she used to be a dentist who wrestled like a wrestler.  Now she’s a wrestler who wrestles like a dentist.”

I think at the start of AEW, Baker was basically one of, if not the, top US Indy female name out there.  And although she was faaaaar from great in the ring, she was the best they had access to that wasn't a Joshi. It made sense to build the division around her.

But, eventually they were able to acquire better female in-ring talent; Storm, Deeb, May, Valkyrie, Hayter, Ruby, Willow, and Purazzo, are upgrades over the Bunny, Penelope Ford, Big Swole, Jade, Brandi, etc.

Plus, girls like Red Velvet, Skye Blue, Julia Hart, Anna Jay and Harley Cameron are a lot better than in the past, and you still have Stat, Shida, Riho, Rosa, etc.  Britt not getting better in the ring and being difficult to work with (allegedly) leaves her on the outside looking in.

Also, I think that behind the scenes show didn't do her any favors; Even if it was a work or heavily scripted, her shitting on Thunder Rosa for being injured was a bad idea.  TR is really popular, has a pretty solid SocMed following, and has a sympathetic backstory. The fact TR was really hurt made Britt look extremely catty, and like a hypocrite.

Maybe on the east coast.

Bout to start feeling like the last remaining Britt fan, but I was wearing my Britt shirt while watching ALL IN !

I’m sure whatever happened with Cole likely didn’t make her any fans, whether that’s people liking his non-wrestling persona or just it happening at the Same as the other bad press she is getting.

Personally, I’ll cut Britt some slack for slowing down in-ring. Sounds like she’s coming back from some really serious health issues. That can take some time to recover from and look like your old self.

It is weird that she’s gotten all the bad press right after coming back to wrestle after having a stroke. You’d think people would be more sympathetic towards her.

I bet that one dude that got banned twice for being shitty about Baker would be pissed if he saw all this now.

What she needs at this point is for there to be more of a women's tag division so she can be the charismatic one in a pairing while she recovers and gets more confident in the ring again (if she does).

How different would the early years of AEW's women's division looked, if Kylie Rae had worked out? Because I strongly suspect that the initial plan was for her to be the babyface ace of the division, and them going with Riho as first champion was basically an "Oh shit, who do we have that's small and super likeable?"

In today's Observer:

WWE allegedly made a play for Swerve & Nana before their deal was agreed to. Daniel Garcia is also believed to have re-signed.

Apparently, those in WWE think that AEW overpaid for Strickland and Garcia, and that them getting deals "above market value" is bad for the business.

Fuck Triple H and his corporate overlords.

Britt has always been fairly inconsistent. I expect that once she gets her confidence back, then the ring work and crowd connection will follow.

Won't speak to her (alleged) backstage attitude, but she put me off with her remarks on Thunder Rosa's injury. I hope that was her trying to work her character but it coming off badly. I still look forward to where she goes now that she's back.

Going to my friend's place today and we haven't gotten together since maybe early this year or late last year. Last time out we watched Swerve vs Hangman Texas Death Match and FTR vs Bullet Club Gold 2/3 falls match.

Today, I was thinking Ospreay vs Danielson, but after that, there's so much to choose from and I have to pick only one or two other matches from the past 10 or so months. Throw out some suggestions, if you feel like it. Please note, I can have 3 matches at the very most.

Happy to help, mate:

  • Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr. AEW WrestleDream, 1st October 2023. *****.
  • Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Danielson. AEW Dynasty, 21st April 2024. *****.
  • MJF vs. Bryan Danielson. AEW Revolution, 5th March 2023. *****.

If you want matches without Bryan Danielson:

  • Sting/Darby Allin vs. Matthew Jackson/Nicholas Jackson. AEW Revolution, 3rd March 2024. *****.
  • MJF vs. Will Ospreay. AEW Dynamite, 17th July 2024. *****.

Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr at AEW WrestleDream 2023 is a must see. It's the best match in AEW history.

Have a good time with your friend!

lmao, apparently AEW offered Kevin Kelly severance when they fired him but he never signed and returned the form and they withdrew the offer (also probably because of all the, you know, disparagement he did)

So he managed to get fired on his day off and fumble a bag after getting fired.  Truly a generational talent in being a dumbfuck online.
