A date and a city, but no venue. All In 2026 is definitely at Wembley again (on the way out, there was a banner saying “See you again in two years”), so clearly FD won’t be there. And the footy season will have already started so it won’t be Craven Cottage. Probably the O2.

Vicarage Road. 20,000 capacity will be perfect, get Elton John in to do the Collision theme, and I can walk home afterwards. Maybe a special appearance from Tom Cleverley, managing Troy Deeney in his Wrestlemania 2 style boxing match against Anthony Ogogo.
Curt McGirt
SovietShooter mentioned Payasos in the weekly thread and I thought about giving Mortos some backup. Hell you could put Bear Country under the goat masks even.
SovietShooter
Whatever gets Mortos a push is fine with me, but I wouldn't want to dilute his gimmick by making him one in a stable of other masked-manbeasts. Honestly, I'd like to see him work tags with Rush, or Luchasaurus. I'd love to see Bear Country go away for a bit and then come back repackaged with a more serious gimmick, where they use their size to stomp on fools Meng & Barbarian style; Savage Sauce and Titty City aren't getting it done for me. But then again, you already have Gates of Agony, and they are a polished product compared to the Bears.

Dolfan in NYC
I just found it on Twitter and thought it was cute to say Punk was still technically the true AEW Champion when he hasn't been in the company for 9 months.
AxB
Punk hasn't been in the company for 11 and three quarter months. He was fired less than a week after All In 2023. He's been in the other company for 9 months.
ExcellenceofAirPollution
Bryan Alvarez said Drew McIntyre is the linear AEW champion....except I feel like the linear champ thing got messed up before Punk even had the title. Did Mox lose to Nick Gage in GCW while he was AEW champion or something? Edited August 27 by ExcellenceofAirPollution

Did Mox lose to Nick Gage in GCW while he was AEW champion or something? Moxley losing to Gage was after Punk vacated, during Moxley's last reign in October 2022. If it counts multi-man matches, then amazingly if you go from Gage beating Moxley, I think it would come back around to Bryan beating Swerve, but I wasn't sure if it was singles matches only.
hobo joe
I believe the first dude to beat Punk after he won the title was Ricky Starks in the Owen finals. So the linear title would’ve gone to him. EDIT: I forgot Punk got his win back like a week later, so yeah, the linear champ would be MacIntyre Edited August 28 by hobo joe
AxB
For anyone thinking the Australian stadium show won't sell many tickets, consider the pricing: nb: An Australian dollar is worth 51p GB£, or 63c US$. This is an extremely affordable show.

Stefanie Sparkleface
So I was bored and felt like confirming. This assumes any singles loss by pin or submission switches the title, even if billed as non-title. 1. Chris Jericho (won vacant title over Hangman Adam Page, August 31, 2019) 2. Jon Moxley (February 29, 2020) 3. Kenny Omega (December 2, 2020) 4. Christian Cage (August 13, 2021 - in reality, only for the Impact World Title) 5. Kenny Omega (September 5, 2021 - was a defense of the AEW World Title in reality) 6. Hangman Adam Page (November 13, 2021) 7. CM Punk (May 29, 2022) 8. Jon Moxley (August 24, 2022) 9. CM Punk (September 4, 2022) 10. Ricky Starks (July 15, 2023) 11. CM Punk (August 5, 2023) 12. Drew McIntyre (August 4, 2024) 13. Jey Uso (August 23, 2024 - assuming that the match ended in a pin or submission) Therein lies the problem of a lineal title, though, Punk's injuries render it inactive for months at a time.

Kevin Wilson
From looking around social media, its incredibly rare for there to be a wrestler that no fans like or defend, but man no one likes Britt Baker. Whether it be for her behind-the-scenes issues (the Thunder Rosa situation in particular) or her in-ring wrestling, since Sunday I've seen not one person be like "Britt is great, you guys are wrong." I don't know what they can do with her, it just seems like no one wants to see her wrestling. Course, people don't want to see Saraya either and she's still on Dynamite weekly so I'm not saying Britt will be gone soon, its just incredible to me how far she has fallen as she was fairly popular when the promotion started. 1
