Dolfan in NYC
Thunderstorms last night... but this was the result this morning. A QUADRUPLE rainbow! http://gothamist.com/2015/04/21/insane_quadruple_rainbow.php
Cliff Hanger
Austin has had thunderstorms basically every day for the last 3 weeks. This is good in that we have graduated from 'severe drought' to merely 'drought', but jesus shit is it hard to be a non-driver.
Matt D
I feel like this double rainbow thing never happened when we were kids. I take it as a sign of the apocalypse.
Justin877
Probably more pollution in the air since we were kids. Rather than a omen.

This is good in that we have graduated from 'severe drought' to merely 'drought', but jesus shit is it hard to be a non-driver. And then shit decided to get biblical over the weekend. Watching 20 foot deep water running through the House Park stadium this afternoon was just insane.
Cliff Hanger
And we get a brief reprieve for today thru Thu, followed by probably another nightmare this weekend.
Robert C
6 more inches at my house in the last two days, not counting the hail. This is getting ridiculous.
J.T.
DelMarVa will gladly accept some of your rain, Texas. It is fucking Tarzan The Ape Man hot up this way.

Cristobal
People at my office have taken this to mean "we definitely won't be getting a report on Monday because Newport News (where the office we're getting the report from is located) will be flooded." Me: That's...not what that map says.

Pete
Spare a few thoughts for Mexico: Hurricane Patricia "the strongest storm ever measured on the planet" Expected to touch down tonight with sustained winds of 200MPH. Yikes.

odessasteps
Super wind in the Mid Atlantic meant 2 overturned tractor trailers on the 95 bridge in MD. Still closed 2 hours later AFAIK.
J.T.
The high for some days is the mid seventies and on others it is the mid forties. Welcome to the 804. I expect that my obligatory severe head cold thanks to crazy weather and my immune system going to shit after three weeks of night duty should arrive by the weekend. Burgundy LaRue
This winter has been unbelievably warm. That's not good as bugs that would have died in the frost/ice will survive and multiply. The summer will be a 1970s eco-horror movie with giant ants the sky turning dark with mosquitoes.

I do Pest control for a living, and here in Colorado I'm seeing insects that are supposed to be dormant or dead emerging all over the place. Boxelder bugs are not supposed to be active in Winter, yet here they are.
Niners Fan in CT
Two weeks ago I thought we had winter beat but then it kicked out at 2.9 and here we are..
Ace
SoCal is now getting the weather we expected a year ago with El Nino. Winter storms have been rolling through the past few weeks. Another one's supposed to hit me in an hour.
Ryan
I keep seeing Boxelders all over the place. It hit 55+ today....in Wisconsin. This is double our normal. Note, this is not a "good thing" stupid old people who don't want winter.
