Did not see the show.  Did they explain why Orton-Cena is for a "championship opportunity", or is this just WWE logic?

Rollins convinced HHH to make it a #1 contenders match. Then he basically told Orton he would cash in on him as soon as he won the title, thus creating TENSION.

Cesaro is good but he needs a mouthpiece.  Without an effective promo his character does nothing for me.

He had Paul FUCKING Heyman for 6 months.  If anything, it hurt him badly.  Cesaro is a guy who gets over on mauling guys with his forearms, throwing guys around in a way no other human should, and spinning them until their heads pop.

I personally cannot wait to see him and Lesnar tie up. Someone may die.

I know but he either needs a mouthpiece or be put over Goldberg style as this machine.

The role they have him in now gets very little heat and he will never move up the card to meet someone like Lesnar.  They will just cycle him around the mid-card with other guys that work stiff.

Cesaro's main problem is that his personality hasn't connected with the audience yet.

The girl in the background of the Miz gif is fucking pissed, turns her head, notices Miz and is bewildered.

Her double-take for Miz is hysterical.

More like a reason for us to care about the match but it looks like they are teasing a couple of different directions with Orton.  Does he go for Lesnar or Rollins after HIAC?

In other words, he gets the Greg Valentine treatment.  I'm ok with Cesaro having a good career mauling folks in the midcard, and a Mark Henry-esque title run in about seven years time.

Cesaro should be a face. He does so much media now, which i think is weird for a heel.

God, they missed the boat on him after 'Mania. The crowd was begging to cheer him.

I have to say, Ambrose and Rollins have both cooled off greatly since Cena was added to the mix. Of course, turning Ambrose into a prop comedian hasn't helped matters.

I would totally be okay with Ambrose smashing watermelons.

Ambrose should've done a promo like the Road Warriors did for Starrcade '86, and thrown some Seth Rollins pumpkins off of the cell.

do you like gladiator movies, Seth?

"You have me confused with someone else, young man. My name is Jamie Noble. I'm the copilot."

"My dad says you totally bombed as RoH Champ."

"And he says that lots of times, you don't even work a body part. And that you don't really try... except during ippvs.

This episode was bewildering.

We start with the authority - again. We announce the HUGE main event that is both a handicap match and partners that don't like each match - again. (In the same match)

They seem to be doing their best to remove anything "cool" about Ambrose, though he's working hard to try to make it work. They put him out there to die in that mannequin segment.

Then they have Randy Orton get built up as the biggest heel in the company all night, with his cheap heat segments, only to have him get attacked by the other biggest heel in the company. Where is the logic?

That being said, I dig the Nikita Koloff push Rusev is getting. Please, please, please don't turn him too fast.

Honestly, the Nexus in 2010 was the last time the opening segments of Raw had any excitement to them for me. Something was gonna happen and it was important to the show.

Since going 3 hours, Raw has just been a collection of segments with no real flow.

Every time Kane comes out I keep waiting for the "The Wonder of the World is gone!" lyric to drop and it never does now.  It never does, and it makes me sad.

Oh man, I never knew that's what he was saying all that time.  It just always sounded like "Oh wee ay oh on the guy is gone."  Also why does Michael Cole always call him Corporate Kane.  It's never "Dean Ambrose takes on Kane tonight", it's always "Dean Ambrose takes on Corporate Kane."

I love that it's become his name now for the most part. Earlier this year it was always The Demon Kane for when he's masked, now it's back to Corporate Kane, but this week he actually became General Kane and was referred to as such on commentary which was amusing. I also wish for a return of Slow Chemical.

Damn it, now I really want to see that PWI cover mock up of said incident.

I want a mock-up of a PWI Illustrated cover that has Rusev, tears streaming down his face, with a black background and the caption, "I cry for Big Show". Someone with better photoshop skills than me has to do this
