Justin877
Story from Hooks earlier which led to little Haley ending up being changed into a John Cena onesie when it was bedtime when we all got together for Xmas. Nice! Too bad it wasn't the super cool Brock onesie that has the "Eat, Sleep, Poop, Repeat" on the front
Justin877
Anyone watched the documentary - Card Subject To Change? Pretty good so far. They paint Kevin Sullivan as a pretty likeable kind of guy in his post WCW days.

They paint Kevin Sullivan as a pretty likeable kind of guy in his post WCW days. I enjoyed it very much even though it made me pretty sad during the Trent Acid parts. If that guy had his life together he could have easily gotten a run in the WWE at some point. Shame how his story ended.
Fat Spanish Waiter
Used to sign Trent Acid on EWR all the time because he had a great name.
Justin877
I didn't realize he had passed away. i figured he had faded out of the indies and had lead a "semi retired" life. Was a sad segment.
Ace
Tonight's main event divas match had reminded me how much I missed Layla as a chickenshit heel.
Victator
Khali and David Otunga are still on the roster, so no, he isn't the worst.Khali's match with Ryback was better than Fandango's matches with Dust and Cody. But do you honestly think Khali is better than Fandango? I'm not convinced Khali is better than Giant Gonzalez. Yes and that the only defense Fandango has is being better than Khalli, shows how much he sucks.
Go2Sleep
I can't think of a more disparate reaction I've had between two matches with the same guys in them. HHH/Randy Orton (LMS No Mercy 07 vs. WM 25) Also, random observation... I was looking through the old NXT show lineups (when it was a competition), and although the winners flamed out big time, each of the first three seasons gave us a top tier star. The worked voting really couldn't have been much worse for picking future stars. Season 1: Wade Barrett - Daniel Bryan Season 2: Kaval - Husky Harris/Bray Wyatt Season 3: Kaitlyn - AJ Season 4 continued the trend of retrospectively terrible winners (Johnny Curtis), but no one worth a damn came from that show either. Niners Fan in CT
I still think Kaitlyn was the real star of season 3 and if she had stuck around it would have become quite clear. She was the new Trish.

I think Kaval's the only one who 'flamed out bigtime' out of the bunch. Kaitlyn was doing fine but decided wrestling wasn't for her, and Wade's still working a solid midcard act and can probably be rehabilitated into main event status if the old guard ever goes away. Roughly half of each season's roster is still around, which isn't bad I suppose.
markme123
Having avoided all of the NXT competitions because of the negative reviews online at the time, recently I went back and watched some clips of the first couple of seasons and my god was Kaitlyn fucking GREAT. Considering 95% of all other NXT contestants ever came off as hokey, fake, awkward, or irritating, Kaitlyn was a superstar. So much personality, charisma and genuine likeablity. Too bad that didn't carry over to the main show.
Bustronaut
For whatever reason the runners up on reality shows always become the bigger stars. When was the last time you heard about Rueben Stoddard, or Justin whatshisname from the first couple of seasons of American Idol?
Big Fresh
Trent Acid is such a sad story, because he was genuinely awesome at one point. And then just got to be godawful in his last few years. Stay away from drugs, kids.

Too bad that didn't carry over to the main show. It's a little hard for personality to show when they get promoted and the first thing they tell them is "we loved everything you did down there. Don't ever do it again". Big E is a prime example of this. He should be demanding FIVE counts and such but instead he just mopes around and they have him sit at ring side trying to look interested.

Greggulator
Here's a thing about the Big E. "I Want Five" thing -- it makes sense on NXT because he was a dominant champion and so much bigger than the rest of the roster. But on the main roster, he's big but anything like Big Show or Mark Henry or Cesaro or Cena or Luke Harper or about 10,000 other guys. On top of it, who do you have him do the five to? There's only so many times he can wrestle 3MB or Justin Gabriel or what have you. You really want him to do the five count spot to someone like Dolph or ADR or Kofi or the other really valuable mid-card acts -- dudes who have a lot of respectability and are great at getting other guys over, yes, but you don't want them squashed dead forever.Dude on NXT wasn't as good a promo as everyone thinks, either. He's great on Twitter and the like but hasn't translated that to actual on-screen wrestling.
Matt D
They could have spent a few months building it up like they did Ryback. That was pretty effective until they messed it up.

JohnnyJ
As many have said about the Big Show, he's a special attraction working in the world of endless live-programming. The same can be said for a Henry or a Big E. It is very difficult to keep your big man aura when you are featured on tv week after week bouncing from feud to feud. Right now, Big E has it the worst because he's young and has not fully-mastered his promo work and in-ring style.
