At the way-low-level indy shows in my area, I used to get the crowd to chant USA in the middle of matches between two obvious Americans, no foreign gimmicks within 100 miles of the match. I used to love to watch the wrestlers looking around confused at what was going on.

Nak/Askua as Natural Born Killers/The Strangers terrorizing Cena and Brie would be a terrible use of everyone that I still kind of want to see. It's your turn to flee like an idiot and not know how to change a tire, John!

So they're building to a Charlotte vs Stephanie match, right? I mean, there's no way Stephanie would cut down a wrestler in a promo and never get her comeuppance, right?

I eventually had to tell him "dude, I've been around a lot of fans pissed because I'm cheering for the bad guys, but I'm getting a very serious 'shut the fuck up, buddy, or I will kill you' vibe here. I suggest you cool it."

I need to take new pics of my shelves. Got two that are custom built. One is 8 feet long and a bit over 8 foot tall. That holds most of my comics and some of my blu rays and dvds. Then got one that is 5 feet wide and about 7 foot tall. That has a rotating selection of my hardcovers and oversized paperbacks and more dvds and stuff.

Well, day 2 was even better. Haskins was taken ill do it kicked off with a 10-man scramble for his spot, won by Andrews. Who ended up in the final and therefore doing 4 matches today. TNA are idiots. Hero worked twice and therefore had 3 amazing matches. MVP. And Tommy End won and dedicated it to Kris Travis and it all got a bit emosh. Drunk on graps, love the graps.

Would they? He turns 40 in less than two months. And Vince probably thinks they already resigned him ever since Apollo got called up.

Nakamura stalking Brie cuz Vince thinks he's a creepy weirdo is exactly the kind of thing I worry about for him in the main roster.

I think the sleeper match is the tag team title match. I feel Dash and Dawson are supremely underrated.

Well damn, The new Monkees album is quite the little enjoyable listening experience. Some tracks are better than othrs but overall I enjoy all of Good Times quite a bit. "Me & Magdalena" is probably the track I like best just to hear Dolenz and Nesmith harmonize is kinda magical.

Speaking of Sasha Banks, I decided to watch Takeover Respect on a whim, and the best part of her harassing Izzy in that Iron Man match is that it starts about two minutes before she actually steals the bow. Sasha throws Bayley into the stairs and starts barking at Izzy, who is stony-faced except to wipe away a single tear right as the camera starts to follow the action back toward the ring. A minute later, Sasha dumps Bayley again and points right at Izzy, who is still holding it together though she is starting to slip. She wipes away a couple more tears really quickly. You can read that she's thinking, "I am NOT going to cry." Then Sasha flings Bayley into the video board, comes back, and snatches Izzy's bow, and instantaneously, Izzy breaks into tears. Sasha set up that spot by wearing down the psyche of a nine-year-old girl by taunting her as she beat up that girl's hero. It's mean, it's cruel, it's pro wrestling. I actually think that people were more down on this match than they should have been because actually, once the first fall happens, everything that happens after it builds on each successive fall and is sublime.

Sam Adams makes a pretty good Cherry Wheat too.

Big Show also used Real American that one time as "The Showster" on a different PPV than the Rumble. James

Alice Through The Looking Glass bombed with an estimated $28m for the weekend, down just a tad from 2010's Alice In Wonderland which had a first weekend of $110m. (Although a $28m first weekend is a better showing than Neighbors 2 or Nice Guys.) People who had Alice at, let's say, 10th or lower on their box office list: Natural, Rippa, King Leonidas, and Elsalvajeloco. ivpvideos and Death From Above left it off their box office list. The rest of us are in varying degrees of trouble. I personally put it at 4th.

I want to see all the marquee wrestlers in a green room and as the draft moves forward each wrestler is picked one by one until there's someone left in there who neither Shane or Stephanie is selecting. So when they are finally selected they have a chip on their shoulder and want to prove Shane and Steph wrong. So they set out to destroy people who were picked before them.

Patterson & Brisco did, and it was their theme on No Mercy for n64. for Funk is on a Roll, there's also Xavier Woods "borrowing" Brodus Clay's entrance when he first debuted.

Pretty much that. People expecting WWE to start booking and writing well to make one World title compelling are dreaming. Two world titles gave us so much more to root for. It worked before, it can work again.
