Niners Fan in CT Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Cinematic Sting was awesome though! Loved it! That match was great.. i'd have preferred no commentary but that's my only gripe on it. The production values were great. 3
elizium Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Don't worry, I'm sure Tony Khan has a tweet locked and loaded blaming some company for the fuck up 4
Niners Fan in CT Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 They should have... i don't often say this, taken a page out of WWE's playbook and maybe filmed the very ending of the show to make sure it had the intended effect. Oh well show was worth my money.. i know Twitter bout to shit on this though. 1 1
hammerva Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 The match itself was great for me but that after match was embarrassing. 3
Curt McGirt Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I loved commenting with everyone on the chat. But that show... THAT SHOW FUCKING SUCKED I'll give one to the Stinger but still. You can't fuck us on an exploding barbed wire death match. 1
Casey Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Miro calling out Omega on Twitter for being a shitty engineer almost saves this. 2 1
The Natural Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Poor Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley having to sell that. 1
elizium Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Is that the first time an AEW crowd actively turned on the company? They were not happy with that ending 3
MapRef41N93W Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Maybe Free Will and Self-Expression Through Creativity are Bad Things. 2 10
Brian Fowler Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Overall, I thought it was a good not great show. Not their best by any stretch, but I mostly enjoyed the matches even if I don't think many of them will be memorable. 2

S.K.o.S. Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Sigh. You know, you REALLY feel the whole four hour length of the show when it's not very good. My MOTN was the opener, maybe? Women's title match was interesting, seemed to be very polarizing based on my Twitter feed. I literally laughed out loud at (unless I missed something) Ryo apparently eating the knee strike and then immediately rolling up Hikaru for 2. 2
Zimbra Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 This is why you leave the deathmatches to mobbed-up Japanese feds and Indiana tweakers who've never even heard of liability insurance. 7 1 5
TheVileOne Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 What was the point of an exploding death match again? I don't think I've ever sit down and watched an actual one.
just drew Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 That almost feels like the angle you have to take. Either a: Kenny Omega built a shitty ring on accident, or b: Kenny comes out at the top of the next Dynamite and acts like he did it on purpose to make Mox look like a fool. Neither are good options, but at this point I'm not sure a good option exists. Malfunctions happen, but damn, was that the worst time for one ever. 2

There's actually only really been 2 good ones, and those were a stretch, and almost exclusively due to Onita. 2

I thought for sure the dud was on purpose Until Kingston sold it like death. 1
GuerrillaMonsoon Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Oh fuck. That is such an ultimate What If already. Imagine how that Kingston face turn plays out had they got that right and instead....well, that's this generation's Shockmaster. 1
nate Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I hope this isn't "Fingerpoke of Doom" levels of bad for the company. Imagine Christian looking at his contract, after seeing that ending.

They really needed to call an audible and not have the announcers try to put it over so hard and tell Eddie to get up. 2
Death From Above Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I don't agree with that as there's two good ones on a single Kawasaki Stadium show where Onita wasn't in either. 1
