TheVileOne Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Well, based on the trailer, the production values look really good. Good looking sets and cinematography. Also, based on these clips, the budget looks a lot bigger than Kenobi. 12 episodes too.
RIPPA Posted August 1, 2022 Author Posted August 1, 2022 Note that the trailer also low key announces a delay Series was supposed to start August 31 Now Sept 21 (hence why it is a 3 episode debut)

Eivion Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 The Andor trailer looks fantastic. It will be interesting to see the more grey area/intelligence side of the Rebellion. With it being the the start of the Rebellion I am curious if Ahsoka as Fulcrum shows up at some point.
Pete Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Meanwhile, in Where Are They Now, Star Wars edition: Seriously, dumbass went from one of the hottest properties in the universe to... to... to whatever the fuck THAT is. At this rate I fully expect her as Lorelei in "This Ain't the Gilmore Girls XXX" by 2025. 1 5
Travis Sheldon Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 I know someone else that sniffed people... and his name is Hannibal Lecter. Look for Gina Carano in Silence of the Lambs Part II: More Quieter, co-starring Armie Hammer, Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain. 4

The Natural Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 (edited) Bringing these back with Gina Carano getting mentioned starting with the best one by far: Edited August 20, 2022 by The Natural 1 6
The Natural Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Decided to go for a breakfast at McDonald's today, bacon roll with hash brown and hot chocolate. You're wondering why is this here? Am I in the wrong thread? I was...Order 66! I found it funny. Hope you do. 2 4
JLSigman Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Holy shit they actually got someone who LOOKS LIKE EZRA. (brb flailing screaming hyperventilating etc.) 3
Raziel Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Ok, We got Ezra... now we need Sabine and Thrawn. 2

J.T. Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 Oh my God these awful names for SW characters. Lando Calrissian sounds like a name for a humanoid bro from another galaxy. I love Ezra Bridger, but his name better fits the guy that came to your house from Geek Squad to help you set up your wireless router. 1
(BP) Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 I don’t mind the name but it is the most 1:1 Luke Skywalker ripoff name I can think of in the EU. 1
Brandon Bones Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Boy did that come together at the end of Ep3. It really tied the room together. I’m in. 1
TheVileOne Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 (edited) I really don't get why they broke up the first three episodes of Andor. Just release it all together as a single 100 minute movie. You own the platform. There are no rules here. Bad Batch opened with a 70 minute movie for its first episode. I mean it's good they dropped all 3 at first because those were awkward breaks in-between. I've seen up to episode 4 so far. Show is OK. It's probably the best looking Star Wars TV show in terms of the overall visual aesthetic and production values. At times I felt like I was watching Blade Runner more than Star Wars. J.T. Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 (edited) Andor is fucking great. Chief Hyne may be the best cop boss I have seen in recent memory on any show. He knew the security dudes that were trying to shake Cassian down were up to no good, so he set them up with a dignified end and did not even bother with an investigation since he realized the dudes had it coming and got killed trying to extort the wrong man.
