I've never really bought Ambrose as a face.  I watched way too much of Jon Moxley's scummy lowlife heel act when he was in the indys.  To me, Ambrose/Moxley has damn near zero babyface charisma but tons of heel charisma.

I have the same problem with Orton as a face.  I feel like he should have been a lifelong heel.

Nikki is banged up with her shoulder and now her back. She really needs some rest, but won't get it until she breaks AJ's record and they finally decide to give the women a real story.

Ah I didn't realize she was injured.  I think Sasha is the perfect replacement if she does take time off.  It looks like crowds are starting to notice her. She was getting some decent chants last night.

Ambrose can't turn heel, he's got a movie coming out soon.

On the other side, the same could be said for Reigns, who's part of the company's parenting initative and anti-bullying campaign.  I don't think being heel would impact Ambrose's movie.  The Miz is heel and for what little impact The Marine 4 had, that had nothing to do with it.

So is Steph

Not that it does matter but remember they awkwardly turned Miz back face one week after his heel turn because of Marine 4 coming out.

So Ambrose staying face for the movie at least has precedence

This is interesting to me.  I was in the exact same boat until Ambrose started playing Ricky Morton in those early face turn Shield tags.

I would say he is great in the ring as a babyface, but everything else about him screams awesome heel.  I hope he turns.

Dean give off this great charisma where you can tell bad things have happened to him throughout his life, and he's had to (and will continue to) crawl and scratch and do everything he can to survive. But they've also given him an awesome character flaw -- he doesn't like it when people betray him. He was the one most deeply affected by Rollins leaving The Shield. Dean's the one that punched Seth in the face after The Architect left during that Wyatts classic on Raw. He's said in this whole story arc with Roman that he has no one else he's ever considered a friend.

He's really done a great job (overtly and subtly) portraying someone who is a total badass and completely vulnerable all at once.

That, and him having a loose grasp on sanity, makes him the perfect dude to get swayed into a religious cult. Like, those types of people in real life are the ones who end up eventually handing out leaflets near a bus station. All it will take is one misplaced Superman Punch or dodged spear for Dean to doubt Rollins, and for Bray to see that and use it to his advantage. And Bray hasn't used it in a while, but his early shtick was tinged with all these "vengeful Socialist messiah' vibes about how he wanted to liberate the downtrodden. That speaks to Dean, who has always just wanted somewhere to belong.

It's really friggin' great if that's what it leads to.

For me Ambrose becoming a Wyatt lackey kills his character dead, and would be a stupid move. If he doesn't become a main eventer or very close to it there's no reason to turn him. They can find any mid card geek to be a Wyatt lackey.

I wouldn't mind a Dean turn, but he doesn't need to be anywhere near Bray. Ambrose is one of the few guys on the roster with legit charisma there's no need to stick him in a group where he isn't the leader.

If they want to use Wyatt-billy-ism as a way to transition Dean and Emma toward a BADLANDS style crime-spree-drifter-lunatic love angle that leads to a BONNIE & CLYDE style martyrdom and an eventual rebirth as Mickey & Mallory Knox...well then I say bravo, sir.  Bravo.

Dean Ambrose is the friend who gets you into barfights because he says someone was looking at you funny, comes up with cockamamie ideas about how to make a few bucks and then blows it all on booze...and then shows up with the only money he's got to bail you outta prison, and when you're absolutely at your lowest, pulls you out of the gutter with his bare hands and says "C'mon. One of us has to not be a screw-up, and we both know it ain't gonna be me." Sure he's crazier than a shithouse rat, but he'll give you the shirt off of his back, shove it into a bottle of 151, light the fucker and throw it at whoever you think would look better on fire.

You can't turn that guy heel!

Also he's more over than Roman, turning him would be idiotic.

I'm all for Dean turning heel if it takes the rebound lariat out of his arsenal.

Lord yes. Ambrose has a lot of stupid fucking offense actually.

But that move... At least when Nigel did it he hit the lariat part so fucking hard I could kinda forget how stupid the setup was.
