mco543 Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 For the sake of my faith in wrestling fans I'm going to think it's a parody.
evilwaldo Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 For the sake of my faith in wrestling fans I'm going to think it's a parody. Yeah, I am wondering if he gave away the account as a gag.
cool arrow Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 He always struck me as pretty humorless, particularly where TNA is concerned. Then again, maybe he's doing some kind of latter-day Andy Kaufman performance art or something.
nate Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 But he is like our own little CM Punk. He didn't leave on his own, though.
Lamp, broken circa 1988 Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 EDIT: WHOOPS thought we were talking about someone else So TNA, that's the one with the wrestling ring, right?
greenbat Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 EDIT: WHOOPS thought we were talking about someone else So TNA, that's the one with the wrestling ring, right? If TNA is gonna just suck, gives Russo the keys to the castle. I'd give a wrestling show with no ring a shot. But yes, they have a ring of sorts.
Raziel Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 And after they announce their new TV deal in Zanzibar, they'll be the top competitor to UWF.
Ziggy Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 OK, let's say you're Spike TV President Jim-Bob Spike. Let's say you still have faith in having rasslin on your channel instead of doing what they will probably do and throw on another rerun of a movie they've already aired 600000 times. So you're gonna keep on SOME kind of wrestling on your network. Not TNA, 'cause it's ran by morons. What would you put on in its place? ROH has quite a bit of infrastructure already in place, and I think Chikara might gain a cult following given a bit of time. Lucha? Jarrett's company? Billy Corgan's Big-Time Wrestling? What say you? TNA is not an alternative. NJPW would be. Thats how I've felt about TNA since the first cable deal. just because its another promotion with a national TV deal doesnt make it an alternative to WWE, to me WSX was more of an alternative. TNA has for most of its existance has tried to be mid 90's WCW, ECW attitude era WWF and WWE lite so many different times
Rev Ray Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 I just floating this out there. We got rid of him to stop dealing with him. You guys talking about him means that there is room for more people to disappear. If you want to make fun of him, do it someplace else on or twitter.
Big Fresh Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Today was Sunday. What was the announcement?
Bustronaut Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 It's been delayed to sometime in the 1st week of November.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 The announcement is we have a big announcement sometime during the week of November 1st!!!!!!!!!
Matt D Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 They're using one credit card to pay off the other. 6
Raziel Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 They delayed the announcement because they saw that Bray Wyatt's Hologram projector is on a per appearance deal, so they're trying to lure it away with the promise of a World Title reign. 1
mattdangerously Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 They may need to sweeten the deal with some Orbitz gum. 1
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 They delayed the announcement because they saw that Bray Wyatt's Hologram projector is on a per appearance deal, so they're trying to lure it away with the promise of a World Title reign. They are going to have the hologram smash a lantern over Bobby Roode's head in Japan and show the footage if they ever get a TV deal. 2
Kevin Wilson Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I was explaining to my brother what was happening in TNA and about their last PPV, and he asked "Why does TNA still exist?" I mean that's a pretty good question.... they don't have the money anymore to get popular wrestlers, they can't tour, they've failed at everything they've tried to stand out and now they lost Spike. They really should just fade away.
Bustronaut Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I think they pretty much are at this point. When do the "best of" clip shows start on Spike? Mid-November?
Kevin Wilson Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I guess I meant fade out gracefully, not still doing the "big announcement next week!" thing or potentially going to a much lower TV station. Just put on a big show in Nashville and call it a day.
greenbat Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 TNA is like a business mogul video game and your just waiting on your payroll to be taken out at the end of the year, then it's game over.
twiztor Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 fingers crossed that the big announcement is that they found a new home......on WWE Network!they'll have to change the name tho. can't have anything called "TNA" on a PG deal. and "Impact Wrestling" is out because we don't talk about wrestling. WWE Impact!
CanadianChris Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 RUMBINGS are that Dixie's announcement is that they signed with.... Kurt Angle!
