Cristobal Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Lashley really is the best thing TNA has had in a while. Guy was great in TNA and fought and won 2 MMA fights during his reign (at least during the airdates). They weren't pretty or particularly impressive but he got his hand raised and that's all a good promoter should need to capitalize. Not to pile on, but...
greenbat Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Lashley really is the best thing TNA has had in a while. Guy was great in TNA and fought and won 2 MMA fights during his reign (at least during the airdates). They weren't pretty or particularly impressive but he got his hand raised and that's all a good promoter should need to capitalize. The buildings are empty cause post-Jarrett they don't do any local promotion. After he left, show promotion basically consisted of the graphics during Impact and probably Twitter. The only way you'd know TNA was in town is by going online the next day and seeing the pictures of the empty venue. For the Manhattan Center tapings they had advertising in Times Square and they sent guys out to do media. Which is ridiculous because NYC is the one place in the world where I think they could probably get away with doing little to no advertising and still fill the venue. Still won't make any money though cause the rent is too damn high. The first NYC tapings didn't sell out and is an under 1000 seat venue. The third day wad on the 800s.
muhammedboehm Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 So TNA is doing a QandA with the knockouts to promote the one night ppv...this will be a train wreck right?
greenbat Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I just wanna add when they returned to NYC they did like 500 average a show. That's about a 35 percent drop.
Technico Support Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 So TNA is doing a QandA with the knockouts to promote the one night ppv...this will be a train wreck right? Hopefully question 1 will be, "so what's the best shift at Sunglass Hut?" 1
jstout Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 "Yeah, which one of you has the lowest prices on used underwear?" 1
Overly Critical Man Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 "Yeah, which one of you has the lowest prices on used underwear?" I don't know about the knockouts QnA, but I'm sure glad the direction of this conversation isn't a trainwreck.
jstout Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 "Yeah, which one of you has the lowest prices on used underwear?" I don't know about the knockouts QnA, but I'm sure glad the direction of this conversation isn't a trainwreck. You do realize I'm completely kidding. I can't afford used underwear, I'm not made of money.
Nice Guy Eddie Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 It's actually probably pretty reasonable. Probably depends how used they are
cool arrow Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Which depends on how often they can afford new ones.
nate Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 It's actually probably pretty reasonable.Probably depends how used they are But not how they are used? I ain't going for no ODB snotrags.
cool arrow Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 That's an excellent point. I've never heard of any of the Knockouts having a Sid-at-WM13 moment, but it could happen...
E.J. Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 So wasn't there supposed to be a big announcement or something?
Nice Guy Eddie Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 So wasn't there supposed to be a big announcement or something? That they're still alive?
cool arrow Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Well...... I suppose that depends how you define the word. I mean, Verne Gagne's still alive. 1
Nice Guy Eddie Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 TNA is like 2Pac. Even when they're dead, there will still be new material.
Rev Ray Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 TNA is like 2Pac. Even when they're dead, there will still be new material. They're going to appear dancing in Bray Wyatt's lantern? 1
Bustronaut Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 So wasn't there supposed to be a big announcement or something? That they're still alive? It appears the "major announcement" is they've re-upped with Kurt Angle. SHOCKING NEWS
Jerry Hattrick Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I'm kind of disappointed that no one(including myself), hadn't already brought up the signing of The Rock to TNA, as the shocking news. He is, after all, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment!
cool arrow Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 No argument, that would definitely be shocking.
BEN! Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 What would be shocking is if Dixie signed Shocker thinking he and Alberto Del Rio were the same guy. Well, someone might be shocked. Somewhere. Maybe. Mildly amused, at the very least. 1
jstout Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 They should sign Mysterizz or however you spell Sin Cara's new name, I'm too lazy to look it up. Actually, they should announce they're pairing with Global Force to bring the NJPW PPV to America: TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION PRESENTS GLOBAL FORCE WRESTLING PRESENTING Japanese wrestling
