Wouldn’t surprised me. I presumably was not the only long-time (three decade) subscriber who finally had enough in recent times.

Bryan & Dave are the only two wrestling-related personalities I listen to anymore. I haven’t subscribed to the newsletter in 20 years, but I find them rather entertaining.  I don’t take them that seriously though.  I pay no attention to star ratings or whether or not I agree with every point they make.  They’re an easy ten minute listen.  Honestly, I find it amusing how “fans” hang on every word and get excited when one of the, *gasp* has an opinion someone doesn’t agree with. Lol, poor Dave can’t win. Half his detractors think he’s a WWE loyalist who hurts AEW by  saying anything negative, other half thinks he’s a Tony Khan hand puppet who is secretly booking AEW.  And, yes, that theory has been thrown out a bunch of times. Dave’s the Skip Bayless of wrestling.  I like Skip, so that’s basically a compliment.  People take them both too seriously.  

I avoid every other wrestling-related website, message board, and social media account like the plague.  Except this one. Not sure why I visit here.  Habit, I guess.  I found DVD during the green board days and was fairly active during the 00’s.

I dropped the WON/F4W in December after subbing since 2005. I found it hard to justify paying for the opinions of people I so often disagreed with. I thought it was a bit odd that there was no sort of "why are you leaving" question on the way out. I've had a couple of those e-mails this week and it looks like the price has gone up. I'll pass.

I also used to be a longtime subscriber and canceled about a year ago.  I don't want to listen to Bryan anymore.  I am also tired of all of the tribalism in wrestling and they were at one point fanning the flames.

there was another masked guy in 89 or 90 or maybe 91, orange/red-ish mask, and a handspring elbow into the corner that looked like he landed way too far from the corner so he almost had to lunge to make contact.

EDIT: I was thinking of Starblazer (who is Tim Horner in a mask)

A joke told by a guy who I know must have told the "I am the vindow viper" joke to at least twenty people across his lifetime. 

I sure hope you have sons, daughters, nieces, or nephews to terrorize with jokes like these, whether those sons, etc. are yours or somebody else's.

I’m debating dropping my WON sub. I don’t mind Bryan but Dave’s old man interrupting on podcasts, along with his deep fascination with viewing numbers and micro breakdowns of such, is becoming nails on a chalkboard.

Dave has always interupted people. Even his so called best mate Garrett. He has a high opinion of himself and he feels like his opinion matters the most.

I prefer listening to other wrestling podcasts but I do still listen to the Observer Radio as Dave is a good historian. 

I also always enjoy the Bryan, Vinny, Granny and Craig shows as well.

For me, I've never seen much of a point to subscribing to any newsletters. I figure if anything major happens, I'd hear about it here first anyway.

I suppose the obits are a good reason to subscribe. I have liked the ones I've been able to read over the years.

During my decade of mostly-hiatus from wrestling I dropped the WON, and when I came back last year I found that I just don't enjoy it nearly as much. Alvarez seems a lot whinier than he used to and when he gets a bug up his ass about something he will just spend 5-10 minutes being incredibly obnoxious. He's not nearly as goofy and willing to take a joke anymore either. I would happily just listen to Vince and Craig do a "fan show" than either them with Bryan or Dave with Bryan. I'm in til next April but likely to drop when I have to pay the higher rate, unless I start reading the newsletter a lot more closely than I have lately.
