I'm just holding out for a MAGA Butcher appearance. (It hurts my heart that Necro has gone down that road and that's all I'll say on board.) 1 3
BloodyChamp Posted July 18 Posted July 18 (edited) I’m more disappointed in Trump for picking them because I had greater than 0% faith, hope and respect for him, vs 0% for Hogan. I don’t know much about Linda believe it or not but IIRC she’s never had a job in politics that wasn’t given to her by her friend wtf. Edited July 19 by BloodyChamp
Curt McGirt Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Don't forget the appearance of wrestling participator Kid Rock! Or do. Or try. 3

We've got two dogs now. Orion who we sometimes call Offy is a Jack Russell Terrier and Robin the Chihuahua. We fostered Robin last year and we adopted him last year. 3 1
Ziggy Posted July 19 Posted July 19 For those of you watching at the time, Did you think bringing in Jim Cornette as Yokozuna's manager took away from his gimmick? it seemed like Fuji was enough but I know he was breaking down by the time Yoko came in. Heenan really put Cornette over huge and I think he was great asset to WWF especially at that time but Yokozuna was the biggest heel but I don't know what other top heel would be a good fit for Cornette to manage. Maybe if they put him with Jarrett and gave him a major push as a top heel? 3
odessasteps Posted July 19 Posted July 19 I told Jerry Brisco about the Terry Funk ranch accident when he was playing at West Texas State and how that’s where Dory got the idea and boy did he laugh, he said I need to show that to Junior.
BloodyChamp Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Bobby Heenan putting Jim Cornette over like that really shows how great Jim Cornette was as a manager. He was number 2 if Bobby Heenan was number 1, and Jim says Bobby was number 1 as do many other people. Bobby didn’t have to do that I would imagine but he did and he did it perfectly. I guess Yoko lost some steam but that was going to happen anyway. Jim was Jim til the end of all the things and people who changed in the 90s. 2
Cobra Commander Posted July 19 Posted July 19 the Kevin Nash DNC speech will fall through once they notice Nash showed up high and that he's insisting on just riffing for 10 minutes about how he wasn't to blame for killing WCW 1 7

Yes, Bobby The Brain Heenan is #1 best manager of all time by far. Jim Cornette and Paul Heyman fighting it out for second and third place. I have my fellow Paul second for longevity and he's had top runs with the biggest names: Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Roman Reigns in the biggest promotion. Edited July 19 by The Natural

The Natural Posted July 19 Posted July 19 First time in history Fk Hulk Hogan is putting someone over willingly. That does work for me, brother! 1 2
Cobra Commander Posted July 19 Posted July 19 1 hour ago, The Natural said: First time in history Fk Hulk Hogan is putting someone over willingly. That does work for me, brother! considering that Kid Rock got to perform a song during the part of the convention on network TV, Hogan's speech not being in primetime was a surprise (then he got a shoutout later on) 1

I feel like Vince would decide a JC/JJ pairing was "too Southern" and they'd end up as comedy fodder if they even made it to TV.
