  1. I'm surprised people would think otherwise really because they have an incredible amount in common. I hope they do something musically together because of this. What do you hate humanity enough to wish for something like that?

  8. Everyone is handing the championship to Bayern so the German national squad can start prepping for EURO 2016 in January. Too bad Dortmund got trashed, I really hopey they´d put up a fight. A, since it was Lewandowski and Götze scoring 3 out of Bayern´s 5, it was actually 4-2 Dortmund, overcoming a five goal deficit. Anyway, Bundesliga will be interesting for positions 2 to 18 I´d guess. BPL looks amazing this year, however.

  12. I go to house shows here in Colorado on the regular. I never go to the Denver RAWs, but the house shows here are always super fun. Next one is November 1st and I'm taking my nephew for his fifth birthday. It'll be his second live show.

  13. Just got back to my hotel room after the fights. Thank god for that main event, or that could have been a terrible show. I've been to 6-8 of these over the years, and I thought this might be the worst card I've seen live until DC and Gustafsson put on that war. UFC 61 still sucks the worst, and hopefully it stays that way. Time to get more drinks.

  15. Has anyone noticed there are way too many side characters on The New Day show lately? And way too many parts that don't even have The New Day in them? It's like Wrestling Observer live and everyone who isn't The New Day is people talking about MMA.

  18. Are you surprised by that? Buck has proven to be a d-bag of the highest order, and Aikman's brain is scrambled and hard-boiled at this point. No, not surprised, but man. I get he was playing bad (and lord, he was), but Buck sounded like he kicked his kid or something for a good 20 minutes. It was layed on pretty heavy even for Buck. That's classic Buck, though. Goes for the easy kill and dances on its grave in the name of 'tough journalism.' I've said it before, and I'll say it again--in a society where nearly everyone on TV is considered attractive and has fangirls/fanboys--I have yet to hear a single person mention Buck positively, even in the sense of him just being rich/famous. Dude's an asshole--I'm saying nothing new here. It speaks to how awful he is and how everyone seems to have picked up on it.

  24. Fuck that, it was all about my GI Joe promotion. Zanzibar had the World title more times than Flair, with the Skull and Crossbones (Outsider's Edge) running roughshod before Duke finally Cena'd him. I just overshared again, didn't I.

  27. One of my best friends went over to London for the game. He sold me his ticket to last night's Mets-Nats game because he was going to be out of the country. I'd say that worked out well for me (but to be fair he got to a Crystal Palace match at Selhurst Park yesterday which is a nice consolation prize).

  34. Yes. If he's retiring or going away it was a hell of a way to go out. I thought this show was a blast, not great matches except for the main but they were almost all fun. I say this every time but they need to do this more often.

  37. This is the stupidest OUTRAGE incident of the season, because I've seen three different hot takes coming from it - anti-fan, sexist, and anti-young fan. Here's an idea - get the sticks out of your ass and move along to an incident that's actually important.

  40. I had no idea Matt Hardy was in the main event of BFG. I knew Jeff Hardy was special ref. I just thought it was a one on one match between EC3 and Galloway. Not that I think that's a money match or anything (because TNA) but at least there would probably be a clean finish and Galloway as champ could at least be a pretend fresh start for this dead-ass company. Now I just figure they're going to get too cute and do something stupid like have Matt win by pinning Galloway so they can keep EC3's fake undefeated streak going. Hernandez was more of a dumbass than a dick. LU are dicks for not just letting him go. Season 1 was already in the can and there wasn't any clarity as to the future of the company. There's still no real specifics now. And it's not like they were paying him in the mean time. Also, for waiting until TNA had taped weeks worth of TV featuring him instead of letting them know right away that he wasn't contractually clear. And unless Hernandez requested it, the press release announcing his release just comes off like spiking the football cause he wasn't the only guy unhappy with them and probably won't be the only guy not returning. And TNA are dicks for firing MVP instead of Gaburick. Gaburick's somehow the head of talent relations and the head of creative. So he's essentially the GM and head coach. During his tenure, he's managed to sign an already contracted Hernandez, he signed Bram (several times) while losing TNA's franchise player AJ Styles along with James Storm, Austin Aries, Magnus, Daniels, Kaz, Sabin, etc. And what's worse is he got nothing out of them on the way out. All that equity the company built into those guys over the years just completely wasted.

  41. Just had a popular cable TV show do a sitdown interview with me about Lucha Libre for their DVD special features. Finally getting to use my Rain Man like wrestling memory to good use. Don't worry Matt D and Cristobal I was sure to mention how awesome Roman Reigns is

  44. The theme for the Season Finale of Total Divas Brings You Lessons on how to be a Horrible Person is "Going back to the well one more time." Daniel Bryan is back once again with inappropriate slut-shaming, suggesting Nicole was "cheating on John." Ok, between the beard, the uptight attitude towards women, and not eating meat or drinking alcohol, I'm starting to think he's secretly a member of the Taliban. Nikki trotted out the old "guilt-trip the boyfriend who has made his feelings on children crystal-clear" routine. In response, John Cena returned to an old favorite, calmly and professionally explaining to his girlfriend that what he says goes, and was nice enough not to even mention that she is quite literally contractually obligated to fuck off if he tells her to. TJ and Nattie have come full circle, as he is now reduced to sulking over an injury while Nattie lies her ass off, using him and his injury as an excuse to avoid dealing with shit she doesn't want to deal with. Paige is as big a liar as Nattie is, but she compounds her troubles by asking Rosa for advice. We remind you that the last time Rosa gave Paige advice on her love life, we ended up in a scene out of a hunted sitcoms. After this, Big Show probably isn't wrong. And finally, the ultimate lesson in being a horrible person: Give your viewers a cliffhanger ending that literally anyone who watches WWE can tell you isn't a cliffhanger, because E! isn't advertising episodes of "Total Divas starring Paige" and Dolph isn't in the Bullet Club.
