I miss heels being hated. A couple months back, someone on my Twitter feed was bitching about Bray Wyatt being booed. He's a heel. He's supposed to be fucking booed, dummy.4 points

So with all the shit heads making NFL players as a whole look like a bunch of abusive women slappin', kid poppin', shit heads... Buried in it was Devon Still's struggle to watch his baby girl go through cancer. Terrible shit that no patent deserves.... But she is reportedly tumor free and how awesome is that? Very.3 points

Someone at PWO covered the streak. Well started doing the streak and ended up doing his whole career. Here is the post WINS - 308 LOSSES - 27 NC/DRAW - 18 Most of the losses were 3-Way, 4-Way matches, Battle Royals or some other type of multi-man match. If anyone is interested in the raw data, I'll be happy to send you the excel file. THE STREAK SOURCE: THEHISTORYOFWWE.COM and DDTDIGEST.COM 20 Wins - The Giant (*21 counting handicap against him and Hogan) 10 Wins - Jerry Flynn, Perry Saturn 7 Wins - Curt Hennig 6 Wins - Brad Armstrong 5 Wins - Scott Hall, Yuji Nagata 4 Wins - Fit Finlay, Glacier, Meng, Steve McMichael 3 Wins - Bobby Eaton, Hugh Morrus (*4 counting handicap match against him and Barbarian), Raven, Rick Fuller, Sting, Van Hammer 2 Wins - Barry Darsow, Barry Horowitz, Buddy Lee Parker, Konnan, Renegade, Scott Norton, Sick Boy 1 Win - Al Greene, Bam Bam Bigelow, Barbarian (*2 counting handicap against him and Hugh Morrus), Brian Adams, Buddy Landel, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Chris Kanyon, DDP, Disco Inferno, Hulk Hogan (*2 counting handicap against him and Giant), Jim Powers, John Betcha, John Nord, Johnny Attitude, Kendall Windham, La Parka, Len Denton, Lodi, Manny Fernandez, Mark Starr, Mike Enos, Mortis, Ray Traylor, Reese, Roadblock, Rocco Rock, Scott Putski, Scotty Riggs, Steve Regal, Stevie Ray, Terrance Black, Vincent, Wayne Bloom, Wrath, 9-Person Battle Royal No Contests - Disco Inferno, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Bam Bam Bigelow, and Kevin Nash/Bam Bam Bigelow in a handicap match. Losses - Kevin Nash From 6/23/97 to 12/27/98 - That gives me 148 Wins, 1 Loss, and 4 No-Contests. It is possible I missed quite a few house show matches, but I'm thinking the list started getting padded middle of the way through. After his win over Perry Saturn at Spring Stampede 1998 (4/19), He is announced at 74-0 and the next night on Nitro when he wins the US Title over Raven it's 75-0. At this point I have 68 wins and 2 No Contests. It's highly plausible I'm missing seven House Show/Dark Matches and the record is legit. After the 5/18/1998 Nitro win over Glacier, he is announced at 88-0.(+13) I have this as win 82(+14). His Great American Bash PPV win over Konnan 6/14/1998 is announced as his 100th win.(+12) I have this as win 95(+13). So far I've went from a difference of 7 (75/68), to a difference of 6 (88/82), and now 5 (100/95). His Bash at the Beach PPV win over Curt Hennig 7/12/1998 is announced as win 112(+12). I have 105(+10). The difference is now back up to 7 (112/105). On Nitro Xtra in early November 1998 a win against Meng is counted as 160(+48), but counting the results I have even the announced number would only be 150. My result count is 143(+38). Difference 17(160/143). The night of Starrcade he is said to be at 174-0(+14), but results I have show announced number should be 165(+5) now with 4 total No-Contests. As of the night of his loss to Nash, results I found show a record of 148(+5). So it looks like the streak was legit (+/- 5) until he won the title from Hogan. At that point it started to get a bit inflated, adding upwards of 25 phantom wins. Been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks. Last couple days they found one of the causes of when my heart goes scary fast and were able to fix it. Just got an internal defibrillator put in that will save my life should something bad go down, plus I won't have to wear a life vest, which I fucking hated. The plan is to send me home Monday on meds to see how far they can get me before deciding on an internal pump or transplant.2 points

I'm 40 and I grew up on the WWF and NWA, as they were called back in my day when you tied an onion to your belt, as was the style. Today, I DVR Raw and maybe watch matches or segments that get positive reviews but, more often than not, I just delete it sight unseen. The problem is there's so much TV to fill that nothing means anything anymore. When I was young, just getting to see two midcarders wrestle each other on Saturday Night's Main Event was a huge deal and a treat, because you never saw that unless you paid money to do so on PPV or a house show. Today, every match is done to death on TV and all these guys are so overexposed that there's no reason to care about anything. Why sit through 3 hours of Raw this week when there's going to be 3 more hours next week and the next, leading up to a 3 hour PPV, when you'll just see permutations of the same guys working each other, with the same style, each week? And why watch the PPV when you'll get rematches the next week on TV and the next month at the next PPV? It's not just recycling the same guys and matches. It's the booking, too. There are no consequences to anything. Cesaro is wrestling Shamus? Great. Whoever wins will not move up the card and next month both will be the same spot so who cares? Say what you want about indies but PWG is pretty much all I watch with any regularity. They're once a month (if that) so every show is special. Wrestlers have distinct and different styles, and the commentary, while funny at times, doesn't make a mockery of anything. And their titles are booked as meaningful. I'm hoping the lack of competition and the lessened need to "sell PPVs" because of the network will cause WWE to dial it back a notch. There's no need to burn through big matches on TV anymore. They could use PPVs in a more innovative way now since there are no worries over "buyrate." Shit, do old school KotR and Survivor Series. Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent. I'll just say that, as an older dude, I don't enjoy WWE because nothing they do means anything.2 points

He's taken the move from Nigel McGuiness, but Nigel took it from Les Kellett, who was a comedy-style worker in the 70s. I think Ambrose is a bit too tall for it to look good though... and it's not one of those moves you should do in every match. If he falls out through the ropes in every match, and then only does the rebound Lariat every so often, that's going to make it one of those "You don't know what he's going to do" moves. If he just does the Lariat in every match, it's just a goofy looking move. You don't want to have a move that's like AJ Styles Pele kick, where the gimmick of the move is that never know when or where it's coming from. Except it's always after a missed Clothesline. I don't agree. Having a predictable moveset, especially for your cut-off and comeback, is a good thing for a babyface. If I'm in the crowd and saying to myself, "My boy Ambrose is getting the shit kicked out of him. I sure hope he hits the rebound lariat soon!" and then he actually does it, then I'm not watching Ambrose make his comeback, I'm willing him to do it. I'm in the ring with him. We're a team. That's how you get people invested. It's why all top babyfaces have always had the 5 Moves of Doom. It works.1 point

Yeah, it was that one. If you're looking for other players for specific missions, this website is pretty neat and very helpful. I got in a party with two other players in a few minutes and we did it. Not easy and I died about a dozen times, but we did it!1 point

Those pics of Lance Russell are awesome and it's great to see him looking so well. I hope I'm as good as him when I'm nearing 90. It was great when lawler introduced him before Raw and his voice is still perfect! Suddenly, I was awash with disappointment that Lance Russell wasn't commentating the Nexus invasion in 2010. Can you imagine Lance, microphone still on, berating Bryan for choking out Justin Roberts? Admonishing Darren Young for pulling up the ringside mats? Man, the moments we've missed.1 point

Nikki's ass attack almost makes sense given that she took time in a promo at some point in the last couple weeks to call attention to her voluptuous derrière (her words, not mine; don't shoot the messenger, I generally keep my perving to myself). Almost. It's actually light years away from amazing. When a guy gets hot, he rises up the card. When he rises up the card, perennial headliner and face of the business John Cena will be there waiting for him. Some guys stay at the top of the card. Some guys drop back down. It's the name of the game. But the conspiracy theory put forth by so many that Cena gets in the orbit of these guys so he can leach their heat and cast them aside never rang true to me. Cena's been cool with the mixed reactions for years and knows his place is safe. The idea that he's so insecure that he'd try to sabotage the Zack Ryders of the world is absurd. I got many a laugh last year when people pulled out the mental gymnastics to explain how Cena saving Bryan from the wrath of Ryback is akin to a burial (after Bryan's third match of the night no less).1 point
