AEW Revolution, 6th March 2022 is on my birthday! Well it goes out on the 7th March 2022 UK time. Dr Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa and CM Punk vs. MJF are big matches. Does Thunder Rosa win here or Dr. Britt Baker retains via cheating to extend it to Double or Nothing where Baker won the AEW Women's World Championship a year earlier? It's Rosa's time. Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston look likely additions. I wish it wasn't Adam Cole in the main event vs. Adam Page as Cole does nothing for me.

AEW's big four PPV are Revolution, Double or Nothing, All Out and Full Gear. This will be the first AEW PPV without Kenny Omega wrestling and only the third for Cody after All Out 2020/All Out 2021.

That's a lot of big hosses for a ladder match, we need some flippy guys added, who's it going to be? Would Jeff Hardy be available by then?

Bear Country can do a flip.

Bear Country could absolutely do the standing on shoulders no ladder attempt and it would rule. I mean, one of them might smoosh the other, but that’s why there’s two.

know this is a personal problem, but I hate Cole because watching wrestling growing up has left me with body issues where I feel guilty when I don’t lift six days a week, and if that motherhumper has seen the inside of a gym since he left the performance center I’ll eat my damn hat.

Psst. Don't tell anyone I initially posted my (possibly unhinged) rant in the wrong AEW "R" thread.

(But Kairi Sane's been putting the work in! Just saying.)

If Dark Order are going to be Hangman's backup to counter Fish and O'Reilly I hope this ends up being a Title vs. Name match. Winner gets the championship, loser has to give up the "Adam" name and start calling themselves "BUDGE."

Definitely curious about Britt and Rosa. It's felt like Ruby or Rosa would be one the dethrone her but feels like Britt still has some life left in this reign too.

I have "Nowhere to Run" and "Manhattan Mayhem" on DVD somewhere in storage and there's a Punk/Rave single's match on RoH's youtube channel so definitely rewatch those before Punk/MJF which feels like it's going to be a hell of a blood bath.

This is just her first reign. Unlike the men's division, where I don't see many people getting multiple runs with the world title, Britt will likely be a 5+ time champ barring any disaster or her leaving.

Isn't Danielson / Moxley more or less official?

You'd think so. Match I'm most looking forward to followed by Punk/MJF and Baker/Rosa.

Na, I want the Kings of the Black Throne in the Tag Title Match. And them to win it.

When is Fenix back? With the incoming intro of Buddy Matthews I’m assuming we’ll be getting a HOB vs. Death Triangle trios match at some point soon

Well they teased the third member this week so it seems like the two of them are getting a.... Buddy? I feel like when it comes time to end Hangman's reign it's going to be MJF but I man REALLY want to Malakai to have a great run with that belt someday.

While I think Malakai should shoot to the top soon and get his title victory, I can only see Buddy coming in as a Kings of the Black Throne Hunter. It can go not so successfully for him and then, he can run into Kazarian who can take him under his wing and start their forever friendship master/apprentice dynamic that we all need to see in our wrestling.

Nay, Jeff’s no-compete isn’t up until the week after Revolution, so he’s not an option for a surprise in FOTR or the Casino Battle Royal for a spot in the tag title match.

Speaking of the latter, watch out for Top Flight in that spot. Darius appears to be healed up and waiting on go for his comeback, and Dante getting knocked out of FOTR contention, ahem, clears them for takeoff.

I’m not that concerned with Cole winning. I have very little doubt that Page is going to drop the title to MJF eventually. Cole’s very over, but they’ve invested a lot of time in building Friedman and he’s already had a very auspicious 2022.
