" I remember that story too! Cant remember who he was talking to, but im almost sure this occurred while The Rock was hosting SNL for the first time prior to WM2K - the musical guest was Vince's favorite band AC/DC, and I think they were watching band rehearsals 1

I would have no idea how to respond to that. 2
Zimbra Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 I think everyone is overlooking how absolutely bonkers Vince is going to be about casting himself for the series. We're either going to get a digitally de-aged Vince playing himself or a Hemsworth brother doing a full Thor steroid cycle. 2

Bring me the GOOD Helmsleyworth brother, NOW! And if someone is trying to bring me Karl Anderson again as a good brother, I will strangle you with my own damn hands! The joke wasn't funny the first two times!" 1

Now I'm going to spend the rest of my day thinking about who Vice would cast as himself. A Hemsworth brother is a good suggestion, but I don't think he actually pay anyone anything close to what it would take to hire any of them. Part if me thinks he'd just use Randy Orton, because of the chin. 1
Ultimo Necro Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Vince’s pop culture reference point hasn’t reached the Hemsworths yet. “Get me that young up and comer Val Kilmer” 1
Spontaneous Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 I think they nab the star of The Marine series, The Miz. 3
John from Cincinnati Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 The obvious answer is Cena in a hairpiece. 1
nate Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 In all seriousness, I've only ever believed there to be one actor who could pull off playing Vince to nigh perfection. Michael Shannon 4

In a battle between Vince's ego and Vince's parsimony I'm giving a narrow lead to his ego, especially if they get someone else to finance it. I didn't even think of the third option, which is that they throw a bunch of money at an Oscar winner to try to give Vince some gravitas.

Zakk_Sabbath Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Very random, but does anyone know if WWE is still planning on leaving Titan Tower to move to the old RBS building in Stamford? There's been so much other stuff going on with the pandemic and within wrestling the last year that I sort of forgot about it.
