Reed
I hope they free Tilikum. I mean, he's killed three people so far. And I don't know who's going to feel comfortable watching him perform now that this film and his tragic story has been circulated. I'm not sure sure how he'd adjust to the wild after 30 years, but it seems the kindest thing to do.
Execproducer
Jesus, can't we just enjoy the classics without having to impose today's tech/politics/hindsight upon them? NO! I can only imagine what you mofos wiil do to Mary Poppinsl
Niners Fan in CT
Saving Mr. Banks is pretty good. It's a little dry but it tells a great story and here's what it has going for it: - Tons of Mary Poppins - Hanks is great as Walt Disney - Emma Thompson is tremendous. - Colin Farrell puts in his best performance in quite some time. At least out of the recent work of his that I have seen.

BNosanchuk
I've seen lots of stuff from Sea World talking about "setting the record straight" since the film came out. If they were so determined to do that, I have to wonder why they didn't just agree to participate in the documentary. I hope they free Tilikum. I mean, he's killed three people so far. Have not seen Blackfish, but felt liked I learned a bunch from a recent Rogan podcast with Phil Demers. He's a former animal trainer at a similar "Marine Land" in (near) Canada. Pretty good additional info on the topic.

RandomAct
For some reason I watched the Mighty Ducks series this past week. Maybe it's the weather. I still love them, but I had an odd feeling coming out of it that I want to write a screenplay for Mighty Ducks 4. Am I crazy?
Newb82
MD2 is the most awesomely ridiculous sports movie ever. I don't think I've seen 3 in full.

Antacular
My favorite memory of the MD franchise is walking into some dudes dorm room during college and meeting his infamous Coach Gordon Bongbay. Slept well that night.
assfax
Watched The Crossing Guard. At first I was kinda hating those early scenes with Nicholson and Huston. Just seemed like a really bad movie. The more fucked up he got the better. This was still the David Morse show. Watched China O'Brien a few weeks back. As soon as you see that skeezy Christopher Lloyd deputy you know the motherfucker is evil. Rothrock is kicking ass on the wildside in mom jeans. I wanna see her naked and have stinky sex along with the 70s show mom. Maybe I already said something but I also watched True Confessions and The Mission. Good shit. Tabe
Got roped into seeing The Secret Life of Walter Mitty this afternoon. Holy cow, this was so much better than expected. It had some nice funny moments and was generally just a nice entertaining movie. 7/10.
Ace
I wonder why Rothrock never got roped into the Expendables movies?

The Jeremy Irons/Robert DeNiro flick? That's some good, sad shit right there.
Craig H
So I'm watching Django Unchained again, for the first time since I saw it in the theater. I totally forgot about it until now, but man, this is one of the most beautifully shot movies I've ever seen. Just some really great photography throughout. There's a scene early on where Django confronts the Schaffers/Brittles and the Brittle that was also in Lost has his whip that he's cracking underneath a weeping willow tree that's blowing in the wind. Just little shit like that sprinkled in throughout the movie.
Craig H
Additional thought about Django Unchained: I'm happy Will Smith was dumb enough to pass on this so Jamie Foxx could take the part.

Yeah because that was a huge fucking upgrade. Jesus. Will Smith would have owned this movie. Jamie Foxx is one of the worst actors in Hollywood. Craig H
He turned it down and went to work on After Earth instead. It also isn't his only shit film. Seven Pounds, Hitch, Bagger Vance, Wild Wild West, and MiB 2 are all pretty awful. Then you have shit like Ali, which is boring, Hancock, which is bad, and I Am Legend, which has an incredibly stupid ending to go along with it's rote plot. Niners Fan in CT
Speaking of beautiful cinematography I just watched Prisoners. It was very good. It's at least better than Rush (which I did like quite a bit..) so I can safely say that this probably deserved to be nominated at the Golden Globes. Now, I don't want to spoil anything so I will just say that Hugh Jackman's performance was great with his range of emotions and for me, it's difficult to find fault with anything his character did.. but that's one of the things we are obviously supposed to discuss. As good as Jackman was.. Jake Gyllenhaal may have been even better. Holy shit was he great in this. I never felt the film veered off into "that would have never happened!". It was raw and realistic throughout. Everything the characters did made sense.
