ReiseReise
Bundesliga: Bayern (1-0 against Frankfurt) and Dortmund (3-2 against Bremen) both with very close victories at home against lower table teams. Hannover loses 0-3 at home to Hamburg and has to make up 10 points in six games to avoid direct relegation. This doesn't seem likely. Gladbach beat the piss out of Hertha with a 5-0, Leverkusen dispatched Wolfsburg 3-0 in a match fittingly dubbed "El Plastico" by a huge German football news outlet. (Both clubs are integrated in globally operating companies and therefore not "organical" clubs, therefore often referred to as "plastic clubs in Germany) Soooo, in Premiere League news...with six games to go Leicester is seven points ahead. Oh, and Real wins El Clasico in Spain!

ReiseReise
Apparently, there is a new chapter in Messi´s tax shenanigans. Looks like he used an until now unknown offshore company to get around paying...I don´t expect anything coming out of this for him, though. AxB
That PED story is some bullshit though. Someone ex-doctor who's never done shit alluding to big name claims (without naming them) to make himself seem like the bigshot he's not. The Tax evasion, that's a bit more serious. Although making Messi the focus when it's pretty much inevitable Abramovich is going to have been involved at some point, that's just the tabloid name game. They only said Messi because they didn't find anything when they searched for Beckham.
ReiseReise
I think the guys who will get it the most are going to be politicians. Putin in particular. I just caught Messi and decided to "drop" it in here.

Dewar
Quite the 10 minutes for Fernando. Scores a goal, then gets two yellows, and he gone for the rest of the quarterfinals.

ReiseReise
Didn't see any QF yesterday, but looks like the two heavy favourites are in for a tough second leg. Also seems like there is quite the amount of heat for Suarez not getting sent off when kicking the opponent. Can't he get penalized via TV footage like many players were in the past? Or doesn't UEFA do that anymore?
Dewar
Suarez being a shithead again. Shocking.... Wolfsburg up early on Real. I think they need to play "Hungry Like the Wolf" to celebrate goals at home. Edit: 2-0 for the Wolf!!! Edited April 6, 2016 by Dewar
ReiseReise
Real looked like they were at one of those US-Tournaments European clubs play in the summer. Occasionally showing quality on attack, but neither hustle nor good marking / defending. Second half looked better from the Royals and Real will be quick out of the gates and come out Things will never be boring with Ibra.

Guest Edwin
Those refs for Barça-Atleti were horrendous. Torres gets a red and Suárez should've gotten one too for blatantly kicking Juanfran and elbowing Filipe. I don't care how talented he is, dude is up there as one of the dirtiest players in the world with Pepe and Felipe Melo. Koke was tremendous as usual. 2-1 isn't a bad result as it's pretty even and a 1-0 at the Calderón for Atleti in the next league advances them to the semi finals. Wolfsburg getting a 2-0 win over Madrid is unexpected. Madrid thought that winning the Clásico was going to guarantee them advancing to the semi finals. Zizou already said exhaustion played a big roll... Yes, because Madrid was the only team that played during the weekend.
ReiseReise
The German refs have just recently been critiqued quite heavily. Apparently there is a whole lot of discussions and more bad calls than ever. I'm not so sure about this. The bad refereeing didn't seem like it's a new thing. There have been inconsistancies and blatant ignoring of certain rules (sliding tackles from behind getting red carded for instances, tactical fouling getting yellows) for quite a while.
