hammerva
Well apparently Boykin did bring up the race issue in training camp. Maybe that was his way of getting off himself off the team which I guess worked
Ryan
Maybe he refused to participate in Riley Cooper's annual Minstrel Show for the blind. Too far?

Dolfan in NYC
Matt Elam is done for the year, he tore his biceps in practice over the weekend. Ravens sources confirmed today it's a full tear, so off to the IR he goes.

supremebve
The most suspicious thing about the Chip Kelly situation is that players get cut all the time without anyone questioning their motivation. All the other coaches cut players without anyone ever bringing up race, but somehow it comes up every time with him. Can you name another NFL coach where this has come up once? Dolfan in NYC
Arian Foster MAY* (read: does) need surgery on his groin. He hurt it in practice yesterday. Surgery means a trip to the IR/Return list which means he's done for half the season. The sound you're hearing is fantasy owners shouting the F word as loudly as possible. I'm having my draft about a week early this year because of getting married, but we always try to wait until week 3 if not week 4 of the preseason before we pull the trigger on drafting. hammerva
In case you were wondering that the Skins were "changing the culture" for the 250th time, well here we go again: DeSean Jackson slipped at practice and injured his shoulder falling to the ground. After trainers examined him on the field, the receiver was spotted back on the sidelines with his pads off. A wrap was put on the shoulder and Jackson was talking with Redskins President Bruce Allen. Word was the field was slick and multiple players were slipping during drills. Jackson apparently hit a blocking sled or other piece of practice equipment as he went down, which may have caused the injury.
