John from Cincinnati Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 AxB, I'm familiar with the concept. My post was less of a question and more of a hearty guffaw at Smith's career choices. Guffaw!

Actually, Logan was headed for an R before Deadpool landed. Hugh Jackman even took a pay cut to sell the studio on it because he just REALLY wanted to do an R Rated Old Man Logan. 6 hours ago, Brian Fowler said: Massively failed Oscar bait Bait and switch from what I hear about how they execute the concept. To the point where people are gonna be MAD, I think.

Slipknot was in the movie? Ok, I'll take your word for it. And Joel Kinnaman was in that trailer like three times before I remembered Rick Flag was a character. Congrats, DC. You made a movie I remember.... almost nothing about six months later. . 1
J.T. Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 An article from a French magazine contains an interview with Gal Gadot that confirms long time rumors that we all probably heard aka Ares is the primary villain of the Wonder Woman movie. The article does not address the rumored casting of Ares (allegedly Sean Bean).

Brian Fowler Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 If he plots and doesn't write, it's great. They have decided to split Shazam into two movies or something. Maybe a Black Adam solo film? Not sure
TheVileOne Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Head-scratching moves by DC and WB. But oh well. I'm ready to watch this fiery trainwreck.
WholeFnMachine Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I don't know why they would consider Cooper or Reynolds, two guys who fans would associate with their Marvel roles. Makes no sense to me. http://www.thewrap.com/hal-jordan-green-lantern-corps-tom-cruise-jake-gyllenhaal-ryan-reynods/
TheVileOne Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Look at the byline for the article and it tells you all you need to know.
Cliff Hanger Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 These fucking morons. I have no idea how you fuck up the Flash so badly as to chase off two directors and THEN demand a total rewrite. 1
The Natural Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Newsarama ranks the Batmen: http://www.newsarama.com/31760-ranking-the-greatest-batman-actors-of-all-time.html Mine: 1. Kevin Conroy 2. Christian Bale 3. Michael Keaton 4. Adam West 5. Diedrich Bader 6. Will Arnett 7. Bruce Greenwood 8. Peter Weller 9. Ben Affleck 10. Val Kilmer
The Unholy Dragon Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Man. I think I'd go Conroy - Bale - Affleck - West - Bader and then from there it gets tough. Not least because all the other animated Batmen kinda blur together a bit and I hate Keaton's Batman, think Kilmer was sleepwalking, and have mixed feelings on Clooney even though I *love* Batman & Robin (only partly ironically, even). Also I need to rewatch Beware the Batman because I loved the show but I can't think of the VA very clearly.
TheVileOne Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Ben Affleck has stepped away as the director for the Batman film.
The Unholy Dragon Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Probably for the best, honestly. I feel like he was approaching burnout just trying to figure out how to juggle that. 1
