Joyce Grable (Betty Wade-Murphy) has passed away at the age of 70

Man, I suggest folks go back and watch Joyce Grable and Wendi Richter tag together.

I believe they were later known as the "Texas Cowgirls", which is hilarious cause I don't know anyone who had a more backwoods of Georgia accent than Joyce Grable. They were very much ahead of their time. Also, some of the best heel work you will ever see.

It wasn't Joyce and Wendi Richter, but Joyce and Judy Martin were heels in the Omni Thanksgiving Tag Team Tournament against Steve O and Jerry Roberts (aka Jacques Rougeau) in 1980, and it worked fantastically. Footage exists, but it's really hard to find.

Really, Joyce in general was great from the footage we have available.

Are you counting man/woman vs man/woman tag matches?

id presume Kaufman’s matches in Memphis would be considered, although they were shoots (we have led to believe).

The two people killed in an airplane crash at the Lake Placid Airport on Sunday have been identified as Russ Francis, a former NFL tight end who recently purchased the Lake Placid Airways scenic tour business at the airport and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s Senior Vice President Richard McSpadden.

Francis also wrestled for his fathers promotion in Hawaii and worked the Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2
