Not much to add other than seconding @ExcellenceofAirPollution that the 8-man really want to see a ZSJ-Kyle O’Reilly match. Mark Briscoe is possessed by the spirit of Dusty Rhodes. Conglomeration is a good name for that group too, since in geology a conglomerate is formed by different fragments being cemented together. OC lost Best Friends. KOR left the Undisputed. Mark lost his brother and lifelong tag partner. But they came together seeing other people like them who needed help.10 points

I’m here too. It feels like TK is leaning heavily into the “booking for the sickos” thing the last couple of weeks and, honestly, isn’t that the answer? To be a true alternative, just book crazy shit for DVDVR and let WWE do the epic glossy Marvel movie stuff Just go full bore with batshit insane WAR 6 mans we’ve always wanted to see. That’s the audience. Stuff like MJF and the Devil very clearly wasn’t the audience And now, with that said, give me Ishii / Jeff Jarrett you cowards9 points

I love the Joe/Hook pairing. Their exchange before busting into The Premiere Athletes locker room reminded me of the exchange between Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction before busting into Brett's apartment. Too bad we already got Statlander and Willow cosplaying as Jules and Vincent because that would have been perfect for Joe and Hook. Shibata could be Jimmie, in his bathrobe with his gourmet, expensive coffee.8 points

GET YO ASS OUT OF HERE JACK PERRY! That fucking killed me. Him and Okada are two of the funniest fucking guys.8 points

I'm glad the crowd came across well on TV as I thought we were pretty loud and into things. The final attendance ended up being pretty solid so I hope they come back. This was my first AEW show and thus of course my first AEW TV taping, and I have to say they really keep things moving. Both the in-ring talking segments felt short to normal, there were only a couple true commercial breaks and I never felt bored or the need to stand up/walk around. Rampage was really good too, no spoilers but it felt like one of the better ones recently. Overall a great night of wrestling. Justin Roberts is absolutely horrible at talking to the crowd during commercials, to the point I hope he was intentionally being cringe for laughs. TK came out three times to hype us up. I am glad my wrestling fandom lives on the same timeline as Tony Khan's live eFed experiment, what a time.8 points

I know that guy (Octopus does too). It's Ryry from the AEW Discord. Same guy who had the DC hearts NYLA sign way back in the day. When it went to PinP, Excalibur took the time to explain that it was NoVa as in Northern Virginia, and not "that guy who stole everyone's moves".8 points

I don't think anyone named her yet but I think Willow is the biggest success story. Started her AEW career with eight straight Dark losses.5 points

Great show T to B!!!! Tons of great wrestling and every segment mattered. I was like, "why the fuck are they doing a Daniel Garcia squash here....isn't this Rampage/Collision fodder?" and then it led to that great post-match where you knew MJF was coming out to get a taste of Hechicero but then they throw Will out there on top of it to tease a couple more matches. Good stuff. I love that MJF decided the best thing for his comeback match would be to have Rush kick the shit out of him for 20 minutes. He took a hell of a beating in this one and gave Rush a ton. Rush joining the Callis Family would be fine I guess, but with him and Takeshita that's too much talent not to have any gold......and AEW has too much talent that needs gold.....WAIT I KNOW....MORE BELTS!!! Swerve/Will face off got good once the intensity ratcheted up. Liked Swerve "making it personal" when Will was ready to leave. Loved Nana like "guys, save it for the PPV" while shilling the PPV 8 man All-Star was fun. Gotta be honest though I didn't think having ZSJ and Orange interact before the PPV was a good idea and it didn't make me want to see that match. Good stuff during first break from ZSJ and KOR, would much rather see that 1 on 1. I can't say it enough but the show is so much better without commercial breaks. They don't do the WWE "grab a hold" thing so there's always good action and the commentary is a riot. At one point, I think it was this match, they were giggling like schoolgirls with the inside jokes and were like, "oh shit, we just got yelled at in the headset and told to call the friggin match" Dante Martin is insane. He makes it look so effortless. I like that he's changed up his look a bit, feels more....I don't know....mature? But like college mature compared to his clean cut high school days. I'm guessing him and the other high flyers are thinking they need to step their game up a bit too if Ricochet is coming to town.... Mercedes called herself The Boss in Spanish. Nice touch. Nick Jackson introduced as wearing a pearl necklace? Feels more Timeless Toni's speed. Upset win by the Acclaimed was well done, great selling from Bowens. Good to see The Acclaimed get back to being a traditional tag team. AEW forgot that what finally got them over beyond the catchphrases and the rap was having good matches. Toni/Mariah/Mina segment was excellent Genuinely surprised by how Pac/Claudio ended. Danielson sold it great. Probably getting Danielson/Pac after Danielson/Shingo. 95 degrees here today, AEW is even hotter, life is good5 points

Can someone please explain what in the actual fuck is going on between KOR and Roddy? This storyline fucking sucks. KOR comes back, the Kingdom try to court KOR, KOR says he needs to do this on his own, the Kingdom kill him, then Roddy beats KOR in a match for the title, KOR wrestles 2 or 3 matches, and now we're back to the Kingdom trying to court KOR again. Am I going crazy or did Tony Khan rewind this entire storyline? I'm confused and I don't give a shit about the Kingdom, their issues with KOR, or whatever Roddy wants with KOR. However, I do care a whole lot about OC making some new friends in KOR and Mark and I care even more about KOR being friends with Mark. Someone made a comment that it was a nice to get a Dynamite where the booking was back on track. The booking has been back on track for weeks now and we comment on it every week about how this feels closer to what AEW was in the beginning before TK got shiny new toy syndrome. For example, in the beginning, we would keep spotting these great budding trios and would talk about how great a Trios title would be. Then we got the Trios title when trios were at a down point. Now we're getting back to where trios matter again and spotting more really great budding trios, like Joe/Hook/Shibata and Mark/OC/KOR.4 points

I do not understand what Shane even offers to AEW. They already have plenty of people who can't throw a decent working punch but are willing to kill themselves doing huge dives that make little or no sense.4 points

Also, anyone else notice the super sweet moment between MJF and Rush? I’m guessing MJF probably said thank you or something to that effect while pinning Rush and Rush scrunches MJF’s hair and then gives him a pat on the head. It might be the nicest thing I’ve ever seen Rush do.3 points

That and well , she's just as crazy as Harley and Saraya so she's a good fit, and she's probably the best worker of the three right now , as Saraya's limited and Harley's green. Would have been a good place to re-debut Tay if she's ready. Seeing MJF get the shit kicked out of him makes me like him more, why couldn't we have had MJF vs Minoru, or MJF vs Ishii at some point? Hechihero as an evil arm-breaking bastard could work too. I like MJF the in-ring worker more than MJF the talker, which is the opposite of how I feel about Jay White, though both are top-class in both.3 points

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. Bowens' AEW debut was teaming with Lee Johnson, losing to Chaos Project. Whilst Caster's AEW debut, he was teaming with Luther and Serpentico, in a loss to the Jurassic Express (Saurus/Boy/Stunt).3 points

I agree. There was so much good stuff tonight that it's hard to pick what I liked most. Everything tonight just clicked.3 points

The tweet cuts off a bit early, so the full text is I would not be surprised so see them add MJF and Hechicero to that Dynamite tag. Also, Jeff Jarrett has a wildcard for his first round of the Owen. At this point it could literally be anyone.3 points

So much good tonight. My fiancee was really into the Mariah Love Triangle, I was into just about everything- even the Acclaimed had their working boots on tonight.3 points

Every time I hear these guys talk about their vision for the company and they bring out the "We're doing something that's popular in other genres of TV and entertainment to bring in the casual fans" I can't understand why they think it's going to work. It happens today too. The casual fan is a dragon they're all chasing and just like with drugs, you never quite reach it.3 points

Shane O = Wild Card who faces Jarrett in the Owen cup. He goes on to win the whole thing and takes the title off Osprey at All In. But really that "news" is just further proof we need an eye-roll emoji.2 points

I think y'all are a little crazy if you think Microsoft gaming is going anywhere. Their gaming division brings in the 3rd most revenue in the company, and the last gamepass estimated number we got was they have 34 million subscribers. I can see a world where their next console is strictly streaming and they don't bother with an "X" version though as the consoles themselves haven't been selling well comparing to the competitors. The developers they are shuttering is definitely unfortunate, I don't like it just like everyone else. But there aren't any real indicators that the company is looking to get out of the space as a whole, but more like Raziel said making little cuts before financial releases to keep the stockholders happy.2 points

It's early summer in southeastern New Mexico, so it feels like the surface of the damn sun. Until today. The high temperature on Tuesday was a toasty 107, today it's 81. I told my wife that I hope I can find my earmuffs and parka with it being so cold. It also goes to show how much my kids have acclimated to the weather down here. When I mentioned the forecast my 12 year old says "Oh, it's going to be nice and cool" and didn't get why I thought it was crazy to describe 80 plus degree temps as "cool."2 points

Once again Kevin Nash made him look like an idiot in this one. I love the part of him talking about "You take the blood bath and run if after the Fingerpoke of Doom and tell me what really killed WCW" . To use a baseball analogy, the Fingerpoke of Doom happened when the game was 1-1 and the bases are loaded. The Kevin Nash bloodbath happened when the game was 7-1 in the 7th inning and half the crowd left the stadium So wait we are now telling me Tony Shiavone is the one responsible for David Arquette for winning the title. Is that something people have talked about before? That is such typical Russo that he wants all of the credit for Arquette winning the title but wants none of the responsibility of coming up with it2 points
