  1. Man, if I didn't dislike Dallas already seeing Jerry and Christie celebrating would seal the deal. Last time I saw a couple dicks in a box, Samberg and Timberlake were on SNL.

  4. Or insane financial issues. I get the feeling that dating Jerry Lawler is a good way to alleviate all of your financial worries. Well, in that case, you think he'd be interested in me?

  5. Incredible, memorable show. This is the only time in wrestling history that we’ve had two five star matches back to back. It may never happen again. These two matches were beyond special and the fact that they happened one after another was amazing. As Tanahashi got the pin, I felt it was the wrong call but I didn’t want to piss & moan about it because the match was so incredible. Then I saw OKada in the aisle with Gedo – it was the most powerful imagery I’ve seen in a long long time, and then the story clicked with me and I realised that Tana winning was 100% the way to go. Okada conquered the Tanahashi mountain in 2013. He had surpassed the ace. It was a pretty standard story – a classic story when done right, and they did it right. But the story has taken a twist. Tanahashi came back on him. He didn’t knock Okada back down the mountain – he just made it higher. Now Okada is staring up again, and it’s even more daunting a climb. Okada has become an incredibly sympathetic character which I thought was impossible given his talent, swagger and natural ability. Tanahashi with this win, has become a truly legendary figure. This result did a huge amount for both guys, their feud, their story and New Japan in general

  7. I watched it twice today. Fuck it. JR was fine on the last two matches. Striker could have been worse. Great fucking show. I found it funny that the US version didn't dub the entrance music like the World version does.

  14. So, Walmart has a PS3 bundle of AC IV Black Flag and AC Rogue for the same price as just Rogue. Already having Black Flag on my PS4, I bought it anyway, and flipped it at Game Traders and picked up a few things. Now I have a grand total of Seven Assassin's Creed games I need to play. I'm an idiot.

  15. DeMarcus Lawrence is like God. He giveth and he taketh away. As for what the refs took away; well, too bad. Maybe the Cowboys defender didn't get his head around but the only way that ball was getting to the Lions receiver is if it was thrown hard enough to actually pass through matter, matter as in through the Cowboys defender's back. If Stafford throws a better ball, the pass interference would've been more blatant instead of being a ball that hit the Cowboys defender square in the back on his numbers. Anyhow I hate games being decided by pass interference unless it's blatant, blatant, blatant. If the refs want to swallow their whistles on passes that were kind of underthrown bordering on uncatchable ; fine. Besides the Lions only ever jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first place because of the silly ass running into the punter RULE; notice I emphasized rule, not "call" because I realize it is the rule after all.

  18. If Khabib could come back at 186, Pettis wouldn't be booked to fight Dos Anjos a month and some change before IMO. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2015/1/4/7491023/ufc-cuts-eight-fighters-vallie-flagg-inocente-mma-news I'm guessing Guto ends up in Bellator, but his UFC run was just dismal. He might as well fight guys like Joe Schilling.

  20. I'm comically old and remember him doing the Sports Smash on ESPN2 when they were hiP aND eDgy wiTH thE grAPHicS anD wHAtnoT. One morning Olbermann threw it to "Stuart Smash with Sports Scott" to gales of laughter around the set... sure enough, next time Stuart popped up on-screen his chyron read "Stuart Smash." Too fucking funny. RIP Stuart. Peace, love and sport.

  21. Stuart Scott was a big part of what's pretty much the gold standard time of SportsCenter. . .Scott & Eisen, Patrick & Olbermann. . .nobody since has even come close. He had a huge impact on the way sports is presented today, nobody can deny that. RIP, Mr. Scott.

  22. I think its telling that the commentary team barely even put The Ascension over on Smackdown. Cole: "John, Do the Ascension have what it takes to make it here?" JBL: (five second pause) "Don't know." Pretty funny.

  28. I just want to know where in the fuck you guys have the will power or time to watch these goddamn hour/hour and half matches. It's one thing to watch a movie that has characters, music, different scenes etc etc. but to watch vanilla midgets do a bunch of shit that doesn't mean anything until the last 5 minutes seems like a total waste of time.

  30. The 3-13 prediction from USA Today is still the absolute best. All things are possible through Christ and the good karma you obtain from playing a team with Dominic Raiola & Ndamukong Suh. At least, Detroit still has Jodie Meeks.

  32. The thing that annoyed me the most about Striker is that he kept dropping all these random references to stuff and it just came off as him trying to show off as opposed to him enhancing the action. The marking out comment was cringeworthy, indeed.

  33. Rumble doesn't have a high level ground game. He won't pose a challenge for Jones. I think AJ is better on the ground than when he was at 170, but the problem is Jon Jones isn't a shrinking violet. As the Gustafsson fight and the Cormier fight tonight showed, you're not going to beat him with just three or four good salvos. You might get him good once, but he won't let you capitalize. His recovery skills are vastly underrated. Plus, Jon is way better at making adjustments now than he was against Machida in the first round of their fight.
