RandomAct Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 He kinda mirrors Walt in that regard. He really does have the best intentions in the beginning, but he's consumed by being good at something, that he takes the wrong path in life. 3
driver Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Watching this week's episode on DVR I don't know if the beginning titles were a little wonky by design or if my recording started off badly.
Jrag Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Last nights episode was the best of the season. MIKE! TUCO!
Swift Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Hmmm, what happened to Mike's "never take half measures" approach?
The Comedian Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Mike took half measures in regards to Walt on a regular basis. The whole "half measures" speech was a work brother...
Elsalvajeloco Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Did Jim Beaver's character ever get a name? For me, it's Not Whitney Ellsworth/Cool Gun Guy.
RandomAct Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 That episode ruled. Tuco, KRAZY 8 being a little bitch, Mike being the coolest fucker ever. Great stuff with Jimmy really not understanding why "Slippin' Jimmy" can't work in a more moral sense.
Ryback Hates Bullies Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Did Jim Beaver's character ever get a name? For me, it's Not Whitney Ellsworth/Cool Gun Guy. For a second, I thought it was the guy Snoop bought the Nail Gun from in the Wire (Paul Nolan). Which would have been super awesome.
Technico Support Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Breading Bad references part deux! Krazy 8! And he's wearing his uniform/driving the Tampico Furniture van Gun Guy! "If you kill him, more Salamancas will come out of the woodwork."
sydneybrown Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Breading Bad references part deux! Seriously, how is that NOT a Food Network show title by now?
Casey Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Those last few minutes of the episode.... hell yes. I marked out. DAT PREVIEW THO.
Jrag Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 The first thing that came into my mind at the end is that this is how we meet Gus. Mike is going to stumble into his business while dealing with the Salamancas. He will then eventually join up with him to get out from under Hector. At least that's what I'm hoping for. This show is so hard to predict, but we know Mike isn't going to take the gun rap and we know he isn't going to kill any Salamancas.
Rev Ray Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 There is always the chance this is when the old man has his stroke. I don't know how long it will take them to get him to the point they do the bell communication.
Technico Support Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 OH SHIT UNCLE HECTOR Amazing. And the preview featured a shot of the skull-tipped boots so I guess the cousins are on their way in. Does anyone here know anybody who hasn't seen Breaking Bad but is watching BCS? I'm curious as to what the experience is like without all the backstory and references.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Man, it would be a whole different show. I think I like this show better than Breaking Bad. I can;t wait to see where this all goes.
Elsalvajeloco Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Doc review is going to make Kim go 5150, right? I think she sealed her fate with the "I save myself" routine even though suing HHM would make no sense either.
Mister TV Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 OH SHIT UNCLE HECTOR Amazing. And the preview featured a shot of the skull-tipped boots so I guess the cousins are on their way in. Does anyone here know anybody who hasn't seen Breaking Bad but is watching BCS? I'm curious as to what the experience is like without all the backstory and references. Me! The backstory and references may go over my head but the show is good enough for it not to matter. 1
Rev Ray Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I haven't completed Breaking Bad (I have been dragging through it but now that my schedule has opened up, I might finally finish season 5).
Technico Support Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 OH SHIT UNCLE HECTOR Amazing. That's awesome, thanks. You should watch Breaking Bad, though. 1
Technico Support Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 When Saul tries to sell Jessie a nail salon to use as a money laundering operation and you notice it's the same nail salon where he used to have an office...
sydneybrown Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Alright so no one has said it, I think it's pretty damn awesome that... Spoiler Tio unintentionally ended up paying Nacho to keep Tuco behind bars. And I don't think Mike giving him 25K was a kind gesture. That was his backup for when the shit hits the fan. "You're gonna need it" = "If you don't figure out what to do with it, you're gonna die."
Curt McGirt Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Yeah, Mike's endgame is gonna be really interesting. As is the beginning of Jimmy's own firm (if you wanna call it that). I curse myself for either missing entirely or only catching the end of these episodes anymore.
Ultimo Necro Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Just binge watched season 2 to date over the last couple of nights, pretty great stuff and we are getting closer to Saul and less Jimmy. I lost my shit when he was playing the bagpipes in the office. Mike v The Salamancas is going to be great to watch.
elizium Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I'm thinking to blow out someone's tires, like a makeshift road spike. The closer we get to Saul, the more I think it's going to be because he causes something terrible to happen to Kim and I'm going to end up hating him for it. Being in a separate but equal law firm with James McGill is just going to end badly for her. Especially since his felony forgery at the end will probably come back on her. 3
