EVA Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 (edited) I think Spears has to win if he has any hope of being anything in AEW. He has WWE jobber stink on him. They’re going to have to work hard to get people to view him differently, and that has to start here, even if it’s just something like MJF throwing in the towel on Cody or something. I like the idea of MJF throwing in the towel for Cody when Dustin won't to further plant the seeds for the eventual Cody/MJF feud. 2
Flair’s Shadow Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Punk just said at Starrcast he is hanging out with AJ tonight and not going to All Out. Punk told a truth and a lie. 1

Flair’s Shadow Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 My God....Punk is working everybody in this interview. Punk is giving subtle head fakes on being interested in WWE. This is glorious. Tonight will be epic....memorable. The Shadow knows.... 1 1
BurningBeard Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 From an outsider looking in, is Shawn Spears the Brutus to Cody Rhodes Hogan? 1 1
odessasteps Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 He is definitely not the Magnum to Cory's Dusty.
Flair’s Shadow Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 I was wrong. Cody did not confront CM Punk at Starrcast. My bad. However.... CM Punk will be at All Out tonight.

Flair’s Shadow Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 (edited) When asked if he was going to appear at All Out.... "I mean none of it's—I'm not gonna be anywhere," Punk laughed. "[AJ Lee] was in Los Angeles for like a week, week and a half, so I haven't seen her in a minute, so I'm gonna be hanging out with her tonight. I hate to burst anyone's bubble, I'm sorry." Flair’s Shadow Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 It’s so clear... CM Punk and AJ will be at All Out tonight in Chicago. Those words from Punk..the words he chose..it was difficult for him to lie..to work people. But Punk got through it...he did a good job. The explosion you here tonight is not nuclear war with China... ...it’s the Punk Pop in Chicago. The Shadow knows. 1
RIPPA Posted August 31, 2019 Author Posted August 31, 2019 Yeah.... this gimmick isnt gonna last long 2 1
HarryArchieGus Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Where does @Flair’s Shadow go from here I wonder. Does it all end with all out?
paintedbynumbers Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 It would blow the "surprise" But AJ Lee as a mystery in the women's battle royal and winning it would be huge. But if you have her in the battle royal you would obviously know Punk himself will be involved with the show too. I can see Punk confronting Page or Jericho once they win the belt. Getting in the ring acting like he is going to put the belt on them but hitting them with it instead.
LoneWolf&Subs Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 (edited) If Punk gets involved(A BIG IF), he has to be involved in the main event. At this point the main event looks like it will be the title match. Money would say Punk would cost Page, or Jericho the title. Or more likely the match ends in a DQ, with nobody winning the belt. This plays into Punk’s apparent feud with AEW’s management by “ruining” the show. Punk siding with anybody wouldn’t really make sense. It would be a shitty thing to do, but it would set up the difference between him, and Moxley. Edited August 31, 2019 by LoneWolf&Subs

I feel like Flair's Shadow is another Black Scorpion gimmick. Who is Flair's Shadow? Is it Sting? Is it Al Perez or the Angel of Death? Is it former WWF jobber tag team, Randy Culley & Jose Luis Rivera, The Shadows? ...only Chris Penn's ghost and Anthrax's Scott Ian know Edited August 31, 2019 by Nice Guy Eddie 2
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 We're spending far too much time on this Punk thing. I think this will be a very good show regardless. That Omega promo from earlier this week makes me think he has his working boots on. I expect good things out of him and PAC. I think the ladder match will be crazy. The undercard looks solid. My friends will be here soon.. I went through the regular cable and ordered the HD PPV for about fifty bucks. I don't know what the pricing is on B/R but I'd rather have no hiccups after the SummerSlam debacle a couple weeks ago.
Guest Edwin Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 The Shadow knows. Anyway, I'm not too high on AEW, but had this not been $49.99, I would've definitely ordered it.
