Also, according to my reseatch, Tully Blachard retained the TV title 1,183 times because time expired just as the referee was starting to make the three count. Funny that you should mention this as I do recall Blanchard retaining because of time limit; the odd thing is that what pulled me back into being a devout watcher was Arn Anderson as the TV title holder and I can't think of a single time where they used the "we're out of time" bullshit in Arn's case. I will say , by the time that they had put the strap on Arn, apparently the philosophy had changed, as every week you were guaranteed a good match for the TV title, usually the best thing on the card (though I admit to enjoying the promos from the likes of Flair and Dusty as well as Dusty changing his ring music on practically a weekly basis, depending on Billboard...) Yes it was an NWA rule...since JCP was the only NWA territory I really watched they are kinda synonymous to me. Not sure about the AWA, that's a good question. Dolfan in NYC
I have changed the title to something more reflective of our feelings. But in a family friendly way. Let this be a lesson to @The Natural. Never have a dream. B*g C*ss will be there to ruin it. 1
HumanChessgame
After the most recent draft I got excited when I found out Smackdown was coming to town and even moreso when they announced Joe/Bryan. Then I realized it was just going to end in a fuck finish and I really didn't feel like spending $30 or whatever a ticket costs plus parking and dealing with a few thousand other humans. I'm really glad I didn't go as I would have walked out when they announced the main event was a three way.
Dolfan in NYC
Two observations about shitbird B*g C*ss: 1) I only needed "indie midgets" to be uttered to complete my "Awful WWE Promo" bingo card. 2) Someone clearly told him, to look intense, we have to see the whites on both sides of your pupils. It doesn't look intense. It looks like he's doing an impression of a cat in a dark room.
Nice Guy Eddie
At least B*g C*ss didn't ruin the finish. I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment, but I'm going with Joe winning MITB, then cashing in on AJ or Nak the same night. I thought Miz had the least convincing crazy eyes that just make you look like you're cosplaying as a crazy person, but the that title now belongs to C*ss. C*ss's suit fit him 10 years ago when he went to a wedding, but it doesn't fit now that he has to go to funeral this week and has only one suit. Asuka needs to beat Carmella in 30 seconds at MITB to right the wrong of her losing at WM. Mandy Rose's theme is straight up softcore porn music. I'm looking forward to the Bludgeon Brothers/Good Brothers.

piranesi
Can someone please explain to me whether Lana was trying to dance or trying to be a heel that doesn't know she's bad at dancing. I STILL CAN"T TELL!!!!
Craig H
Motherfuckers. As soon as Cass's music hit I knew we weren't getting Joe vs Bryan. Assholes. I fucking haaaaaaaaaaaate Big Cass.

Now, not sure.
RIShane
Liked Mandy's performance against Asuka (including a swank-looking inverted suplex) and looking forward to Becky/Charlotte next week, who in a rare show of continuity did not enjoy Paige's attempted PCB reunion. Not a standout episode on the whole, but SDL of late has had a very enjoyable pace, and has returned to virtually everything having purpose rather than the filler-packed show it was for much of 2017. Even the early Paige segment addressing Mandy/Sonya and the Cass/Joe/Bryan triple threat was a good example in that it briskly dealt with two feuds at once, and thankfully Paige is better at acting than Kurt Angle currently is. And yes, f**l Big Cass. All this effort to make him seem like a big deal but fans just don't care. He's the male Carmella.

I figured we'd get Daniel Bryan vs. Samoa Joe and then interference from the big lummox, not made into a Triple Threat match. Niners Fan in CT
Well that sucked but I did like the Naomi and Lana dance off segment. I think they should all feud, it'd be entertaining as hell. Here's a couple pictures I took from Smackdown last week.

At one point ok the house show loop they ran Regal vs Anderson with the TV title only being on the line for the first ten minutes (maybe 15?) but the match not having a time limit. You can probably guess the finish. 5 hours ago, Wyld Samurai said: Wasn't the time limit draw used a lot during the Regal reigns? Yup. Nearly all his televised defenses.
