I'm shocked so many are picking Asuka. To me she's the underdog here. They are telegraphing this Charllotte win big time.

I think WWE sees Charlotte as Rondas Mania opponent next year, so its pretty plausible they put her over.

Strowman should push a dumpster out and when he gets to the ring, opens it and reveals his partner as an unconscious Kalisto, one of only a handful of Superstars to hold a singles victory over him.  That'd be a good lucha thing.

If Shane can't go, I want Vince to strut out and give Owens a shoot headbutt to take him out of the match.

I wouldn't be surprised if Charlotte wins, but what does Asuka do if she loses?  She's already beaten everyone on RAW.  At least Smackdown would give her fresh match-ups.  You can still do Ronda/Charlotte at Mania next year if you just have Rousey knock off Asuka at SummerSlam or Survivor Series.

RE: match order

It was announced today that the 2nd hour of the kickoff show will be on USA

So that usually means a title match and in this case one of the battle royals.

Win or lose the shakeup probably still puts her on Smackdown.

Match order prediction - US title match and men's BR are on the preshow. The women's BR is the cooler match before the main event.

Nak/AJ being used as a hot opener wouldn't surprise me but I think it will be the SD tag title match.  That has the potential to be chaotic and all over the place which would be a good way to get some heat right off the bat.  I think Nak/AJ goes on a little over halfway through the show, basically the way they do the Raw main event at 10pm.  Whomever had the idea of putting on Brock/Roman first, that isn't a bad idea but I don't see it happening.

Nice,  I always wanted to know the real story behind it.  It sounds like WWE wasn't really lying about security concerns. The tickets were slow in part because of those security concerns but I wonder how much the SGT.  Slaughter deal really pissed a lot of people off.  Sounds like it did.  As a kid,  I didn't pay any mind to it of course.

A lot of heat, especially when Sarge “got a pair of elf boots from Saddam Hussein himself.”

What if Charlotte is playing the long con with Asuka? Charlotte realized there was a chance Asuka was going to call her out at Mania and rallies the Horsewomen. So Bayley and Sasha "feud", Charlotte feigns an injury during the MMC where Becky replaces her, Becky then costs Charlotte the MMC finals due to Becky being upset that she got the win but Charlotte still gets to wrestle in the finals.

Come Wrestlemania, Bryan and Shane realize that this match needs to have a winner so there is a no-DQ, no-countout stipulation. Becky, Sasha and Bayley make their way out throughout the match with Sasha helping Charlotte, Bayley stopping Sasha and Becky helping Asuka. Asuka finally locks in the Asuka Lock and Sasha breaks up the hold. All the Horsewomen are in the ring and lay out Asuka. After Asuka's unconsious, Charlotte locks in the Figure Four for the pinfall victory. The final shot of the match is all four Horsewomen holding up their four fingers.

You have the end of the streak, the fact it took four of the top women in WWE history working together to do it, and you now have Charlotte in her natural role as a heel.

I didn't see this already but I ain't going back through all the fantasy booking to check either

Supposedly the WWE sent out a push notification announcing the SDL Tag match as a TLC match but then that was quickly deleted so who knows

They can spin that for morale. "Don't think of it as curtain jerking Wrestlemania, but main eventing Sunday Night Heat."

I was hoping for that stipulation. The ladder be it a ladder match, TLC and MITB is a staple of WrestleMania.

I don't hate this idea despite wanting Bayley and Becky to stay face.

This is the only way I accept Asuka losing that doesn’t involve Io Shirai suddenly being signed or Ronda Rousey.

This damn show is going to be 10 hours long.

Well it is a guaranteed 7 hour show as there is a 2 hour pre show and a 5 hour Wrestlemania slotted.   I would like to think it is really a 4 hour show and they added overtime just to safe but would it really surprise you if it ran until 12:30?

Since I can only think of 3 or 4 matches that could go more than 30 minutes without it being absolutely painful to watch, I expect the over/under on celebrity appearances at 12

So based on RAW the two battle royal matches and the cruiserweight title match is going to be on the pre-show.  Given that the 2nd hour of the pre show is going to be on USA, I have a bad feeling Cedric vs Mustafa Ali is getting the Kalisto spot this year

It's really ashame that for all the great work they've done, Cedric and Mustafa likely get relegated to the opening match of the pre-show, then cut from the dvd and royalties. I don't blame Austin Aries for leaving. Sometimes, the grass isn't greener.
