  1. Why were there so many Big Al's in WCW?! I knew Big Al with Tank Abbott and Big Al (911) were not the same person, but I always thought Big Al (911) was the same person as Big Al (Who became The Dog)! But it turns out Big Al Green who played The Dog was neither Big Al (911) nor Big Al (Tank's friend). So at some point WCW had three (!) different incarnations of Big Al, none of whom were the same person?! :hair-tearing out gif By the way, I hadn't seen it in years, but Big Al Green had one of the funniest vignettes in WCW history as The Dog when Brian Knobbs caught him drinking out of the toilet, then drove him out to the middle of nowhere and abandoned him, leaving Green to howl in sadness at being abandoned. I've never been sure, but I've always felt like someone was watching the Simpsons Barbershop Quarter episode when Homer was tasked with getting rid of Chief Wiggum who had his head out the window panting and saying "Where we going" before Homer abandoned him in the countryside leaving Wiggum to howl as he drove away. https://www.wwe.com/videos/brian-knobbs-catches-the-dog-drinking-out-of-the-toilet-and-then-ditches-him-in-the-desert

I'm beyond excited for this. https://wrestlingfigurenews.com/2023/10/14/eddie-kingston-bloody-shop-aew-1-of-3000-unrivaled-figure-coming/ And goodness me I might actually keep this in the box because look at the back!

  7. I wasn't able to concentrate on everyone's wrestling takes with this shit festering in my mind. So sorry, you're going to have to show your workings here, because if your main takeaway from the last couple of weeks is 'Israel eviscerates children', you might be advised to seek out news somewhere other than Al Jazeera or The Canary. If you just didn't like the Juice/MJF angle then sure, not many people did, wrestling probably isn't the right medium for that kind of thing, but seeing as reports of antisemitism have gone up sixfold in the UK and probably similar or worse elsewhere, one might argue it's actually the perfect time for Max or anyone else to fight antisemitism. It's gotten pretty bad out there, there are Nazis, Islamists, arch wrestling board contrarians, more anti semites than you could ever need or want. And if you didn't mean for your brief 'Let me tell you why I skipped Dynamite' snark to be taken that way, maybe don't suggest that it's inappropriate to discourage people from hating Jews when the Jewish state that they created after some people tried to kill all the Jews is killing people in its desperate attempts to stop the terrorist group whose founding document is heavily themed around Jew killing. Apologies mods, I know this is why we don't have a politics folder, but this garbage has been sitting in the thread for a day now. Anyway, I liked the V Trigger in that finishing sequence. Max Caster getting distracted like an idiot when he had the match won was stupid.

  11. This is just anecdotal, from my own brain, but I feel like there are a ton of injuries now in not just pro wrestling, but all major sports. I think it may be one of two things (or, most likely, a combo of both): 1. Today's athletes are stronger and faster than ever. In wrestling, this is true, and you have to add in the fact that the fans demand more action, maybe more "danger" in their matches than in the past. 2. I think today's athletes are less likely to play through an injury. I personally don't see this as a bad thing at all.

  12. Based on what? He managed for 12 years and had 2 good years and was under .500 five times. I know he's got the two titles but, man, he did basically nothing else. Lemme put it another way - he's a guy that should be in Toronto's Ring of Fame or whatever. Local legend for two titles. Celebrated constantly, never has to buy a beer again. But an all-time great manager? Nah.

  16. Yeah, movies. eXistenZ - Here's what I wrote for Letterboxd; I think I may just end up taking nearly all my reviews from here and chucking them up there at some point, because at least it would sorta-kinda preserve them, but anyway, the movie... This is what happens when you get super-baked, listen to "Virtual Insanity" by Jamiroquai on repeat far too many times, and then suddenly you think you have something important to say about technology and the future. Also, David, your gastrointestinal tract is effectively a convoluted doughnut hole and not at all analogous to your idea of "bio-ports", but please, whenever you have any more ludicrous thoughts like this, be sure to cast Jennifer Jason Leigh in your films so she can open her mouth for us and tell us by proxy, "This is one of Mr. Cronenberg's badly thought-out ideas." Additional notes: God this sucked. That Criterion tried to call it a "spiritual successor" to Videodrome is insulting. And there's one other thing this gets horribly wrong about VR or AR and probably always will: People. Don't. Like. Pain. Sorry, C-berg, but you're a lot more alone on Masochism Island than you think, and any altered "reality" can only be "deformed" as far as can be taken without pain and suffering as the natural leavener of our happiness. The best games, et al, can manage to do is merely manipulate our dopamine schedule, and denying pleasure through operant conditioning isn't truly the same thing. Massive fail on the part of this movie to have skipped reading, I don't know, ANY actual psychology or game theory (and plenty of it existed by the late 90s). No, let's just, I dunno, have Jude Law lick some surgery holes instead. The Green Knight - OK, other than *that* scene, this was EXACTLY what I've wanted from an Arthurian tale for so long. The only director besides David Lowery who could have pulled this off is Robert Eggers, which you can probably guess from the prominent roles played by Kate Dickie and Ralph Ineson. Jesus tapdancing Christ this is just a stunningly gorgeous movie; there was one of the forest scenes that looked a bit rough - I think it may have been because my TV is probably 60Hz and if the scene was shot at 24, it would have likely played better on a 120Hz screen - but otherwise it's just a gob-stoppingly beautiful piece of work. On more than one level, it may also remind you of Justin Kurzel's Macbeth from 2015, which looks too good to be real and yet too real to believe it could be so pretty. But what this has that Macbeth didn't is a better grasp on the subtext, even as the end of this film goes the "Macbeth" route in one sequence. There's so much to dig into about masculinity, courage, history, vulnerability, truth...they could have called this The Onion Knight and it would have been apropos, too, since there is a lot to peel back and think about. Still not better than Drive My Car, but possibly a step or two ahead of everything else from 2021. The King of Comedy - This is available on Youtube for FREE, for God's sake, so you should watch this at your earliest convenience. We're all familiar with "cringe comedy" nowadays, what with Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, BoJack Horseman, Rick & Morty and a dozen other things that have littered the landscape over the last 20+ years, but this, in its own way, is truly the king. I have a lot of, um, feelings about Robert DeNiro, and most of them end with "Man, I am so sick of him being in everything and being *praised* in everything." Some of his most famous roles - such as the clearly influential Travis Bickle - are things I can take or leave. But Wow WOW WOWOWOWOWOWOW is he good here. I don't think this is a better film, start to finish, than Raging Bull was, but DeNiro is at least as good here as he was in the former film. It takes a tremendous performance - and maybe an even more tremendous script - to take a delusional comedian and make him quite possibly the least funny person in the history of film. You truly get more laughs out of every protagonist in every Dumpster Fire film I've ever talked about, even if all you're doing is laughing at instead of laughing with. You don't even get the opportunity to laugh at Rupert Pupkin. It's too absurd. And that goes on and on and ON for nearly the whole movie, and yet you never (or, I should say, you *should* never) lose your empathy for the character. He's so pathetic, so broken, so deluded, that Rupert becomes a barometer of your own humanity: the longer you can watch the car crash happening, and the longer you can still feel how terrible it all is, moment by moment as it spirals out of control, the more in-touch with your fellow man's plight you probably are. But, I think this might also be where "Robert DeNiro as" basically starts, in the same way "Al Pacino as" happens in, oh, The Devil's Advocate or "Jack as" stinking up The Witches of Eastwick and every rom-com he's done as a gross old man. Because yeah, you can see Robert pulling a LOT from Travis Bickle and repurposing it. It works, but he also pushed as hard as anyone to get this movie made in the first place, so you can tell it comes from a place of caring about the authenticity of the performance. Afterwards? Well, uh, nobody needed 3 "Meet the" movies, buddy, but I guess you never saw a paycheck you didn't like. But anyway, the rest of this is pretty special, too. Jerry Lewis was inspired casting, playing 1000% against what you think you know him as to end up as this bitter, furious guy whose life, frankly, is just as broken and just as lonely as Rupert's. There are a couple of times where Lewis oozes so much malevolence that you're certain he's about to go berzerk. And the ending...I'm still kind of in awe of it. The film really, truly, entirely commits to a bit, and it ends with quite the punchline. This is one of the most uncomfortable things you could possibly watch, but it's also somehow just as revealing and compelling as it is hard to stomach.

  22. Awesome opener from Angelico vs Gravity this week, maybe match of the night. Nice job building up Angelico a little bit considering it feels like it's been years. The weekly highlight with Athena and Billie continue the greatness. Billie/Diamante was a fun little match with Mercedes and Athena excellent in their roles at ringside. The post-match chaos ruled, great visual with all the refs. Billie always having the greatest expressions/reactions to everything. Tony Nese actually beating Ethan Page shocked me, didn't see that one coming so it made for a nice surprise upset for a change. Pat Buck looked good in his brief showing against Josh Woods, stood out as unique and digging the theme music too. Surprisingly quick squash from Cole Karter & Griff Garrison as they become more on the same page. Always love to see Kiera Hogan in action, nice short match vs Allysin Kay. Good to see Marti Belle again as well. Only disappointed that one of my favs Zoey Lynn/sky got the shortest squash of them against Lady Frost. Komander/Metalik was an epic spotfest with non stop action for just under 5 mins. The triple threat tag team main event came and went almost just as quick.

  29. I sat with this one for a moment: as a single, probably Kurt Angle. The goofy wig shit really helped give his character another dimension (IIRC anyway). As tags? You could probably get away with putting damn near every WWF team from '99-'01. Granted, its probably more supportive of your point than mine that I had to go back to friggin' middle school to pick some names, but like Taz, I digress.. As for the show, I thought this was a hella solid edition. @GordlowI thought of you during the Edge sit down, I'm glad you liked it! I was sitting there thinking to myself, like "Man, I'm digging this way too much, what am I missing?" I don't know if it's a skill she learned doing pods or when she was covering hockey or what, but Renee kicks ass at these. I won't be surprised if at some point a character *really* breaks out in one of these with her, like Goldust and Mankind did with Jim Ross in the late '90s. And J.R.'s sit-down with the Waynes was good too, but it was DEFINITELY a little more rasslin' in tone with the "Son! Please!" - Christian, despite being a multi-time world champion there, was ironically the only thing that saved this from treading into TNA terrotory IMO. Sting! My god, I hope Revolution is somewhere on the east coast, Id love to be in the house for his last one - he's always said he's not doing any singles matches, but I could see a 1v1 with Darby (not putting him down WHATSOEVER for this, but Darby's not exactly a huge guy - he might be built ideally for Sting to have a singles with without getting blown the fuck up immediately). Apparently, I'm the kind of guy you want to play poker with, because despite not saying word, I got an '...are you okay?' from my better half after that segment. I'm sure some of you will understand and are in the same boat: I am a massive WCW fan who thought I was never going to get to see Sting wrestle, and now I've gotten to see him wrestle 3 times (and appear with Darby a couple others) all within this last few years. I say this in all sincerity: I cannot thank AEW enough for giving him this run, and Sting for being up for it. Obviously, I have no proof that this is the case, but I was absolutely over the moon to see that it seems TK used some attendance-improvement ideas we were recently discussing: frequent on-sale graphics, frequent references to both the building and city for next week, hyping guys who will be there even if they don't have a match lined up yet (You *will* see Hook and RVD in action!) - and on that note, I think the idea of using 'localized' big names (such as the aforementioned RVD in Philly, as well as his recent Collision bout in Michigan) could have some real legs. I just read apparently they moved 2100 extra tickets for last night once Mistico was announced for Rampage (because Texas) - so at least there's a bit of 'proof of concept' there. I'm real curious and excited to see if they can make it a winning formula in other cities.

  32. A few I like: - Salvage Beacons: instead of making junk weightless, I prefer using this mod for a little more immersion. You need, I think, the first rank in Chemist & the Local Leader perks to use it, but you build a "comm station", assign a settler to it, and then when you have too much garbage, you stick a salvage beacon (made at the Chem Station) into any container along with all the crap you want to haul back to whatever settlement you choose. It doesn't necessarily have to go back to where the comm station is, so it gets around supply line issues, if you haven't got them built up yet. - Scrap Everything/Place Everywhere: these two are pretty much essential, in my eyes. The one thing about the FO games that drives me *nuts* is evidently no one has ever built a BROOM in the last 200 years, and so everything still looks so stupidly junky and dirty. I know they're going for an aesthetic, but it's more than a bit too much. Granted, by using this on stuff you're not intended to "scrap" in, say, Sanctuary, will net you a lifetime of Fertilizer and Concrete, but so what. - Skip "Home Sweet Home": I pretty much think the "evil only" direction of Nuka-World is the only thing wrong with that DLC, so...I just don't do it! - Always Idiot Savant: taking this perk at all can lead to some funkiness, so rather than trying to save-scum for it to proc, I find it's better to just use a mod that increases XP gained across the board. There are actually about 17 different mods that try to "fix" this perk, since it's inherently bugged, and the mods still don't fix it, but if you read the description of the mod, the one I use gives flat 5x/10x/15x boosts to XP gain. Granted, this is pretty broken, as you'll outlevel the content really quickly, but I figure that's just a better reason to crank it to Hard or Really Hard and boost Legendary encounters. - Legendary Modifications: This lets you take Legendary mods on and off of weapons and armor. Annoyed you only get "Sharp" gear that you'd never wear? No problem, now you can chuck it on your Power Armor and get the Charisma/Int boost all the time. - Decreased Automatron Bullshit Encounters: That's self-explanatory, the Mechanist stuff can get more than a bit spammy. - One Minuteman Radiant Quest at a Time: I don't think I could play the game without this, since those are so goddamned irritating. - No Negative Affinity/No Affinity Cooldown: This comes in a lot of different flavors, and you can pick how broken or limited it is, but it basically just sets it up so it doesn't take you 20 in-game hours to, say, get Strong's perk when you'd rather travel with literally anyone else. It's possible the Legendary mod requires Armorsmith Extended or Armor Keywords Community Resource, but those are also decent mods.

  33. The one thing about Pupkin I was kinda laughing at the whole time had, I guess, not a lot to do with him specifically, but the notion of him. Here is: - a New Yorker - who is always seen in a suit - with a ridiculous, immobile helmet style of hair - who lives in his own fantasy world where he is certain he could be universally beloved. 36. Fun with awards voting, Jim Leyland won Manager of the Year 3 times. None of the 3 seasons were his World Series season (the 1997 Marlins). Yeah, I know the voting takes place before the playoffs. Leyland might be in the club with Davey and Piniella for guys whose case suffers a little due to their post-WS body of work. Leyland also managed to sign a contract to manage in 2000 for 3 different teams and didn't manage in 2000 for any of them. He left Pittsburgh after 1996 with a deal that went through 2000, he left Florida after 1998 with a deal that ran to 2001, and he left Colorado after 1999 with a deal that ran to 2001.

  37. Looking around the Peacock.. and well, I spent some time tonight watching a Sky News feed with by-elections in the UK and the Astros/D-Backs won tonight so let's watch... NXT UK (12/26/2019) Tom Phillips and Nigel McGuinness are our guides for this episode, which is the best of 2019 NXT UK episode Also, NXT UK TakeOver is in Blackpool on January 12th, 2020. Walter will defend against Joe Coffey! There'll be a tag team title ladder match! A Triple Threat for the Women's title! Let's go back to Takeover as Rhea Ripley defends the Women's title vs Toni Storm. They really rotate camera angles during strikes like it's a series of security cameras. I'm sure I forgot Rhea Ripley with that hair color on the main roster but after the last year, Rhea Ripley not looking like a mall goth looks very different (Could say the same for Toni but it's not as dramatic). Toni evades the Riptide and wins the Women's Title by hitting Storm Zero for a second time. We're just one bit of blatant contract tampering away from being able to have more of these matches (that's just a joke, TK) Toni Storm has some comments about 2019 and how she'll win the Women's Title again at TakeOver Blackpool II. We go back to August 31st as Toni Storm is defending against Kay Lee Ray. Kay Lee wins the title with her Widows Peak finisher. Flashback to March 27th, 2019 as Piper Niven arrives in NXT UK. TakeOver II, Kay Lee Ray vs Toni Storm vs Piper Niven! Clips of Travis Banks vs Jordan Devlin from February We go back to June as Grizzled Young Veterans have things to say. Let's go back to TakeOver on Januuary 12th as the matchup is Grizzled Young Veterans vs Moustache Mountain. That Doomsday Dive doubleteam to the outside looks nasty. Gibson and Drake win with the Ticket To Mayhem. Also gotta say that this Blackpool venue has a cool looking background. Highlight video of the tag team scene leading up to TakeOver Cardiff. Let's go to Cardiff as it's Webster/Morgan vs Grizzled Young Vets and Gallus in a triple threat. Well heaving your partner into the nearest group of lurking opponents is creative enough. Gallus on the verge of victory until a last second save. It's a six-way fracas. Flinging a guy so he hits a Canadian Destroyer on someone else. The Doomsday Dive to the floor again. Apparently it's called the Welsh Destroyer in this promotion, which sounds like the nickname of a UK Government policy. Would a Welsh tag team have the advantage of being able to communicate in Welsh, a language that can't be comprehended by opponents? Our Welsh Heroes win the titles after a Fall to Pieces. Now if he was called Flash Morgan-Webster, he'd have a double-barreled name. At Blackpool II, it's Gallas vs Imperium vs Grizzled Young Veterans vs Andrews/Webster in a four way ladder match that probably had no shortage of amazing spots. Back to August 7th as Joe Coffey takes on The Bomber. Hey, I didn't know Otis was British. The match ends in a double countout. On further review, That's Dave Mastiff, not Otis. Go to WWE Shop to buy stuff for the holidays! (never mind that this episode is airing on December 26th, buy more stuff) Back to October 31st as Dave Mastiff takes on Jordan Devlin. Devlin beats Mastiff by countering a top rope move into a suplex. I know WWE released Mastiff last year but Mastiff vs Otis would be an amazing "Otis vs British Otis" matchup. Get two shortish large bearded dudes and have them battle for supremacy. Let's take a look at the Rampaging Russian Ilya Dragunov. Highlights from NXT UK Cardiff as Dragunov takes on Cesaro. In the spirit of when I typed about Dragunov vs Walter from 2020, Ilya works like a guy desperately trying to win a street fight. Back to October 24th as Trent Seven takes on Noam Dar. Enjoying how Noam Dar is looking and working more like a hatable douchebag than his CWC matches. Trent Seven has some Enzo Amore-esque hair. "I think Dar had this in mind all along" says the commentator as Seven immediately reaches the ropes on a post-pin kneebar. Noam bumping like a maniac for that suplex/back fist/lariat. Well, hitting a superkick in the middle of a seequence where you're having your leg worked is a decision. We got towel action in-between some nearfalls. Gnarly looking finger action by Seven before Seven wins with a Burning Hammer. While that was clipped, it certainly was a good one. Back to January 2nd, we got a contract signing for Coffey vs Pete Dunne. Pete Dunne gets powerbombed through a table. We got a commercial for Kane's book "Mayor Kane" which I do not remember at all. Back to January 30th as Walter makes his in-ring debut against Jack Starz. Walter mauls the fuck out of this tiny schlub. Nigel keeps asking for clips of Walter to make Tom Phillips uncomfortable. We go to break with a "Technical Difficulties" joke to cut away from Nigel 'chopping' Tom Phillips Holy hell, the theme song for TakeOver Blackpool II sounds bad. People still did that kind of music in 2020? Let's go back to NXT New York as Walter takes on Pete Dunne. It's possible that Walter has surpassed Pete Dunne for "the most impressive title reign of the modern era" at least twice. Love the crowd shot of people who clearly did not realize they were gonna see Walter beating the fuck out of a dude at their wrestling show. Walter wins the title with a splash. Walter also created Imperium during 2019 in an effort to kick even more ass around here. Tyler Bate takes on Walter at TakeOver Cardiff. It appears that Bate hitting moves on Walter just made Walter angry. Bate flips like a JCP jabroni getting hit by the Russian Sickle for the finish. We get some roads from Joe Coffey at (probably) his house talking about his upcoming match with Walter. Next week on NXT UK, Dragunov takes on Alexander Wolfe in a No DQ match. Well, that was a series of clipped matches and highlights from a year of NXT UK. With all the fuzzy optimism for the future from a brand not expecting the things that most of us didn't expect from 2020.

  41. I'm enjoying this game enough I want to yell about it some more without clogging up other threads, so anyway here's my current mod setup. Everything is through the in game mod section, haven't touched the Script Extender or anything that is Nexus only. I saved that for Skyrim, it was kind of a pain to get set up, and I'm spending more time with this game anyway right now. Just dumping stuff mostly in the load order Fallout 4 assigned to it. UNOFFICIAL FALLOUT 4 PATCH - obviously HUDFRAMEWORK, WORKSHOPFRAMEWORK - I'm not sure if I even needed this as they're mostly modding tools but I downloaded it anyway TRUE STORMS: WASTELAND EDITION - Pretty good stuff. Comes with configuation holotape. MODDING FOR CHARITY: TRUNK'S MALFUNTION - A quest chain involving a crazy robot PIP BOY PAINT JOBS - There's a whole bunch of these. Does what it says on the label. SIM SETTLEMENTS 2, chapters 1-3 - Massive expansion built around fleshing out the settlement system and also comes with like a game's worth of quests. Starfield desperately needs these people to make the outpost system not a collossal waste of time. IMPROVED MAP WITH VISIBLE ROADS - Does what it says on the label ENHANCED BLOOD TEXTURES BASIC - Does what it says on the label A bunch of radio stations. Most of them work flawlessly except for the Silent Hill soundtrack one that seems to conflict with some distress call so I turned that off. SQUIRREL - Adds squirrels. Essential. ELI'S ARMOR COMPENDIUM - Adds an armor crafting workbench and some craftable armors WASTELAND IMPORTS: GOODIES FROM ALL ACROSS THE WASTELEND - Adds some lore friendly items from other Fallout games, I think. TALES FROM THE COMMONWEALTH (and a DLC patch)- Shit ton of extra content FALLOUT 4 HD REWORKED PROJECT - Does what it says on the label BEARDS N' STACHES - Does what it says on the label VANILLA RESONATING LIGHTS FIX - Does what it says on the label UNDERGROUND FIREBASE - extra game content AUTOMOTRON: PROTRECTRONS EXPANDED - Does what it says on the label DLC CREATURES IN THE COMMONWEALTH - Does what it says on the label. Raises difficulty. PONYTAIL HAIRSTYLES - Does what it says on the label WEIGHTLESS JUNK - Does what it says on the label. Absolutely essential. Listen I played Skyrim for years I play Starfield, weighted junk adds literally nothing to the game experience especially in this game where junk collection is actually key to settlement building. It's a busywork mechanic that is frustrating. This turns it off and I make no apologies. If unnoficial patch is the most essential mod, I'd call this number two. FIREFLIES - Adds a fireflies camera effect during evening/night. You can even configure their colour. It's neat. AMERICA RISING: A TALE OF THE ENCLAVE - A ton of new content. I'll speak from experience you probably don't want to dig in this too early without some big guns. BARRENWOOD - A new worldspace. I haven't gone there yet. NORDIC EUROPA RESEARCH FACILITY - A new worldspace. I haven't gone there yet. HALLOWEEN COSTUMES - Does what it says on the label. HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS - Does what it says on the label. FOG CRAWLERS OF THE COMMONWEALTH, COUPLE MORE DEATHCLAW SPAWNS, KUDEMBROTS OF THE COMMONWEALTH, DREADSHARK SPAWNS, MORE BEHEMOTHS - Does what it says on the label. Raises difficulty and makes traversing the map more interesting IMO. SCAVENGING HUNT: BOBBLEHEAD EDITION - Adds a console in the vault you can use to spawn a quest to track specific bobbleheads. Convienent for treasure seekers. THE COMMONWEALTH RESPONDERS - Basically adds a new faction with their own questline. ARMORER INCREASES ARMOR RATING AND DECREASES ARMOR WEIGHT - Does what it says on the label. KELLOG'S CYBERNETIC IMPLANTS - Lets you build Kellog's implants if you so desire. MAD ROCK - QUEST/SETTLEMENT - More game content. I haven't gone there yet. GO GREEN! GO GHOUL! - Adds a weird new power generation option for settlements. WINDMILL GIVES 10 POWER - Does what it says on the label. CHEAT TERMINAL - I've yet to even touch the thing, but sure. EVERYONE'S BEST FRIEND - Restores a conceptual feature from game development where you can use Dogmeat and another follower at the same time. VISIBLE COMPANION AFFINITY - Just makes it easier to track how that's going. BOSTON IVY RED - Adds some plant colour to the game world. ENEMY SCALING REVAMPED - Keeps the game from becoming One Shot City once you get around level 40 and above.

  42. My wife has surgery tomorrow. They are not retesting her blood so should not get denied surgery again. Positive thoughts on the surgery and recovery are welcome.

  43. Any jacket match should have a jacket that looks like this one.

  44. To be fair... *Letterkenny gif* Andy from Kansas' question (to which I was replying) was "How do you feel about Adam Copeland’s “Rated R Rebuttal”? And not "What is your take on this Dynamite/AEW as a whole?" That being said, I was wrong anyway. That Edge segment was EXCELLENT. I will, despite myself, probably end up getting emotionally involved with the whole E&C reconciliation story, and the eventual retirement run. Speaking of: Bryan and Sting both retiring... Happy for them, sad for me (sad for us?) I enjoyed damn near every moment of Dynamite this week. Except for Sting making me sad. Not sure I can say I enjoy being made sad. Sometimes, maybe. I bet I enjoyed Blade vs Penta more than my wrestling buddy Paul did. I was NOT expecting a stiff chop exchange there! Max ❤ Max! NICE video package for Teacher vs Student. Lovely match, though I agree with Matt, Zen, etc that it would have been great if Emi won (and we got a rematch) Edge:Christian::Wayne:Garth Heel Suburban Dad Wardy vs Face Friedman could be excellent. MJF has beef with Wardlow, Joe, Kenny, Juice, Blade... I like it! Multiple stories and stories crossing over is one way (two ways?) AEW clearly differentiates itself from WWE. The Kingdom stuff still consistently makes me laugh. Red Pants Powerhouse with Callis is good stuff. Maybe this is where Hobbs gets overly over and stays there. I DEFINITELY enjoyed Fletch vs Omega more than my wrestling buddy Matt did. Nobody in my chat group made even a single joke during that match, which almost never happens. We were all quietly paying attention like a traditional Japanese crowd. Archer looked great. I love the shift to black and white for Timeless Toni. That seemed like a relatively filthy joke for US network TV. Was that in PiP for y'all? ***insert buddy and nick pic here later*** BotB is this Saturday?!?! Stat vs Willow? I'm in! Hook talking with his mouth full was enough to get a legit lol outa me. Him and RVD teaming should be fun! I hope Hungie wins that 3-way match. Orange vs Silver is a natural rivalry. That kick from Dustin was nuts. Hatless Hager should team with Limitless Lee and Timeless Toni. "DO THE DANCE!" chant. Huge pop. Max + Juice = Brian Cage. Foreshadowing!

  46. If they had put more thought into team Piper then it could have been a team of old dudes who feuded with Piper many years ago. Roddy Piper is the captain of a team with Greg Valentine, Chavo Guerrero Sr, and Wahoo McDaniel
