Also, Elimination Chamber is Bray Wyatts show. The SHIELD/Wyatt 6 man, now one of the best Chamber matches ever with him finally getting the belt.

You shut up. Also, I have said, repeatedly, for about 2 years now. All it takes to heat Wyatt up is just to actually book him like he should have been booked to begin with. A dangerous, intelligent madman. He beat AJ Styles in front of a VERY pro AJ crowd to win the WWE Title, and the crowd fucking loved it. Because people still love Bray Wyatt. Bray Wyatt was never dead. He could be a top of the card act any time they want him too. Now they just really need to let him be that.

Between Renee's nipples making a run-in on the preshow and Mickie's breasts making a run-in on Talking Smack we are pushing the PG boundaries

Bray's been my dude from the jump. I liked him as Huskie and then he lured me into NXT markdom. I don't think they could possibly be higher on the dude. He's had feuds and angles with Taker, Cena, Orton, Bryan, Jericho and The Shield. And he also had an interaction with The Rock at WM. He's an all-time great promo with a huge list of "WOW" matches under his belt. This storyline has been great, too. I popped huge when he won.

Bray Wyatt, if he was the real Bray Wyatt, would come out with a new Mania sign made out of Miz's flesh, teeth, and bones.

Well, there's been a lot of tension since the boat burned.

Rewatching the match, props to Miz for basically being the only one to really sell how fearful the Chamber is. Guy is very nervous walking in, is horrified seeing the bumps guys are taking inside, and looks scared shitless when Corbin's telling him to get in the ring. For someone who took very few bumps, he really put over the implications of the gimmick.

And the worst part is, most of the rest of life is like this too.

I only caught a little bit of the show. My son watched the whole thing. At one point I walked in and he said "Good we're booing Dolph Ziggler now." I said "Why" "Because he just beat up Kalisto before the match. He's a cheater." So Dolph Ziggler has joined Xavier Woods on my son's "Don't fuck with Kalisto Shit List" I caught the finish of Naomi and Bliss. I can't remember really watching either of them ever, but that finish was dangerously sloppy and looked like it almost broke Bliss's arm. Watched the Chamber. I like bits with the guys on the pods. AJ Styles, who I'm not a big fan of, was certainly the all-star. I mean he about killed himself three or four times. John Cena was the worst. Can't believed he followed up a good performance at Rumble with all that dopey cartoon mugging. It was awful. Loved Corbin dominating everyone, and trying to make Dean Ambrose look like Glenn from Walking Dead. My son was totally pro Bray Wyatt and we both popped when he drilled Cena and pinned him. AJ Styles also makes that move look insanely devastating. I think out of everyone he was the only one that acted like he was dealing with accumulated damage from a hellacious match. Several other guys just laid down until it was their turn to do something and then they were okay.

The perfect 1-2 punch.

I am so curious to see if Bray becomes a "change agent" face with the title or still remains an evil cult leader trying to sway the masses. His last NXT promo was an amazing face promo -- the conquering sons return and he talks about how he wants the NXT audience to get off the couch and change the world. He has also had a lot of anti-corporate missives and the like in his promos. That could very much catch on in the wake of the current political climate. It worked for Daniel Bryan. I would love to see a darker edge in the "Man Vs. Machine" trope.

I agree with most of the conclusions drawn in the thread. Good on Bray for getting the strap. His singles title run is long overdue. Shoulda happened when he had his Cape Fear gimmick going on. AJ is still the ace of this show. I like the fact that Bray has apparently abandoned his anti-establishment stance and realized that he can be a nihilist and still a champion, because the belt is the perfect lure to get the best and brightest to chase him down the rabbit hole to oblivion. For once I am not all Fuck Randy Orton. Orton has done more of his fair share of mid card jobs, so getting the duke over Harper made sense. Good of the book and Orton to let Harper look strong even in a loss. I am sad that Alexa's title reign is over, but there was no way you could job Naomi when she had a hot crowd behind her. Nattie and Nikki looked solid but the book doesn't need to remind us every five minutes that they do not like each other. The fact that they are trying to kill each other explains that just fine. I am good with the double countout because the blowoff needs to be an I Quit Match at WM since both ladies have a tap out finisher. God, the Smackdown tag division needs help. American Alpha are not over and the team that was hugely over, namely Slater and Rhyno, had their momentum killed. I don't know what you do from here now that Bray is champ and Orton is mini feuding with Luke Harper and has a singles title shot ahead of him, so the Wyatt Family effectively is no longer in the tag division despite being the most credible threat to AA.. Becky and Mickie nearly stole the show, but I would much rather see Becky in the title picture. I keep having nightmares that Becky will get bogged down in a feud with Mickie where Mickie thinks that reliving the pseudo-lesbian awkwardness of her feud with Trish is a good idea.

Still, this was like going out of their way to just utterly destroy them. They might not want to answer their phones.

The problem with Orton isn't that he's bad, it's that he is painfully boring. He had one of the worst main event runs ever from SummerSlam to Mania 30, where crowds just died every time the champion was on screen, and other than that he hasn't changed his act up in a decade, despite multiple chances to. Even now, in the Wyatt family, he's still the exact same guy. And the higher up the card he goes, the more boring he gets. That bitching aside, him and Harper tore the house down tonight.

I wasn't totally there for Becky/Mickie, but what I saw looked solid. I skipped Ziggler vs. Crew/Kalisto. Tag Turmoil match was decent but really did push how bad WWE has failed to push AA. Nattie/Nikki was generally solid, but had some really dumbass moments with Nattie getting so many taunts over Nikki w/o a vengeful response. The double count out could have been done a bit better as well. They had better brawls leading up to this that would have made for a more buyable finish. I did like the aftermath both immediate and backstage. That said. fuck WWE if they are really planning to do a mixed tag at Wrestlemania. Cena, Miz, Nikki, & even Nattie all deserve better. Orton/Harper was a damn fine match. Alexa/Naomi was probably the best of the women's matches outside of that split legged moonsault Alexa fucked up on dodging. So happy Naomi won, especially with so much support from the crowd. Elimination Chamber was pretty good, probably the best in a while. I thought everyone look good for when they were in though I do wish Corbin had a slightly better elimination. On the other hand, I loved Miz getting such sleazy victory over Ambrose. Bray beating both Cena & AJ feels so weird yet kind of perfect in giving him such a strong victory with the two getting pushed as elites. Bray better keep the belt for several months because even such a perfect win won't easily fix the damage they have done to Bray over the past two years. Far from perfect, but I dug the show on the whole. I'm curious if Cena and AJ get separate rematches or are we gettign a triple threat on SDL a few weeks from now.

Seriously though, if Wyatt doesn't retain vs. Orton, I give up on this company ever pushing a new star to the top. Randy Orton doesn't need this title reign, and Bray Wyatt HAS to have this title reign have some weight to it.

Bray finally wins the big one. And , yeah, we're actually doing Wyatt-Orton, I guess. Congrats to him and Naomi on her first(?!) Women's title.

Seeing Jim Jeffries telling Piers Morgan to "Fuck off" on Real Time Friday night was awesome.

Corbin killing AJ with the end of days and then Cena immediately running over to try to lock Corbin in the STF was a huge "what the hell is he doing?" moment.

Bray pointing to the Mania sign like he was the Miz or something was pretty gross.

This Janela show at wrestlemania weekend is going to be like an AIW Cleveland show on drugs at this rate
