Hagan Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The Hansen interview was fun. Ross should pull a Corny and just talk about the old days. The last few podcasts have been good. I hope he's hitting his stride and getting the hang of it. The thing about Ross is that he really, really seems to hate the IWC.
odessasteps Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I found it interesting Ross has already booked his guests through the end of the year. Enjoyed the Hansen show. The one story they didnt mention that i noticed was the Bruno neck injury.

If he interviews older school cats or his "contemporaries" I dig it and it's a good listen. He just sounds so miserable and jaded when he talks about "modern rasslin" and "the damn kids" and "the marks on twitter" etc. etc.
greenbat Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Guys... Sigh, I'm listening to way too much wrestling audio. -at least one Austin episode a week, two if there's guests -ditto for Jericho -4 hours of MLW a week (love the Farmer stuff) -about 6 hours of WOL/F4R -usually one episode of LAW a week Even with driving all day for work and ninety minutes of the gym every day it's Fuckin hard to keep up. Thank god AOW has been uninteresting the past two months.

greenbat Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I've played with the idea but I'm afraid it'll warp my perception of reality.
Cobra Commander Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I found it interesting Ross has already booked his guests through the end of the year. Can't argue with the time allocation. Put the interviews in the can because it's football season. Then half the work is done and the only thing left is the 45 minute long intro segments every week. I'm guessing Hansen's memory lapses should be called "nothing concerning", right? He repeated a thing or two at one point and totally forgot he was on Starrcade 90. Just par for the course for anybody?
Matt D Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I don't usually listen to Cornette, but all of the Montreal stuff is very interesting.
Technico Support Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Is Alice still on Cornette's show? I stopped listening because of her.
Word Hoard Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Is Alice still on Cornette's show? I stopped listening because of her. She wasn't on episodes 42 and 43.
odessasteps Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 She was in the hospital for the last week ir so.
MADCAP Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 You should really listen to Goldberg on Jesse Ventura's podcast. It's hilarious listening to them bury the WWE.
Lazlo Woodbine Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I don't know if the Roddy Piper podcast has been mentioned, but I gave it a go and it was terrible. Like some drunken ego trip.
BurningBeard Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Stan Hansen on Ross's podcast today. 3
TerjeRUN Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 You should really listen to Goldberg on Jesse Ventura's podcast. It's hilarious listening to them bury the WWE. Getting this RIGHT NOW!
John from Cincinnati Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Listening to JBL and Cole ramble on about the Fappening is terrifying and disgusting. Yet somehow, it feels so, so right.
Justin877 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I don't know if the Roddy Piper podcast has been mentioned, but I gave it a go and it was terrible. Like some drunken ego trip. I completely agree. I tried listening but I just can't do it
Justin877 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I still love We Watch Wrestling Podcast. I never miss out on it
Rev Ray Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 I still love We Watch Wrestling Podcast. I never miss out on it I realized I was probably at a bunch of shows that Matt and Vince were at. I'm almost positive I was probably a row or two behind them at the DGUSA show at BB Kings.
odessasteps Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 It appears MLW will have a kevin sullivan podcast.
Cobra Commander Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 It better be a 100% in character podcast where Sullivan has a panel of Abuddadein, King Curtis and Alice Radley gradually transitioning into the Lock. Sullivan spends the first 30 minutes recounting his adventures for the week, then 60 minutes with a guest and then 5 minutes to close of Sullivan talking about the Boston Red Sox 1
Hagan Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Ross vs Russo is about what you'd expect it is.
Cobra Commander Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 So does Russo support time limits and the banning of closed fists? Ross and Bill Watts will either be interesting or really shitty. Depending on who guides the conversation
