Yes.  Those are Philadelphians.  And they're actually cheering for something.

Just give Gritty the Calder right now and call it a day!!!

As has been bargained, Gritty leads away all the first born children, ensuring a bountiful harvest in Philadelphia. The parents take one last photo while singing the solemn songs of the season.

Really hope it ends up working out for him. I still love the guy for fight night and consider him an Isles cult legend like Shawn Bates.

I'll see your 1-2-2 with 15 GF vs 20 GA and raise you 0-3-2 with 11 GF vs 23 GA.  Of the top 5 salaries among Red Wing forwards, only Dylan Larkin has a goal.  Gus Nyquist is making $5.5m, has 0 goals, and is a -8.  Admittedly, all of Detroit's veteran defensemen are injured - as in, literally, all of them - but that's somehow not the problem.  They're running a defense core out there that has a combined 83 minutes of NHL experience and yet it's the forwards that are embarrassing.  Dylan Larkin is the only one putting out a high level every night.  The rest are either lazy too often (Mantha), not talented (Glendening), or both.  And there's no accountability coming from behind the bench.  It's a total dumpster fire.

Late on this but congratulations to Rasmus Dahlin on his first NHL goal. Was an excelent play where he came in and cleaned up on an opportunity Skinner created for a tap in. If you watch it closely watch how just before the puck comes he subtly lifts the defender's stick so he couldn't interfere with him getting the puck.

Of course he sucks but compared to Phail Housley Blashill is a cross between Scotty Bowman and Al Arbour. Blashill is like Ron Rolston in that he sucks but had nothing at all to work with. Phail actualy has some good players and manages to put together a team that looks like a totally disorganized fucking mess. He's approaching Dead Weight levels of total worthless suck and I thought that would be completely impossible. He's even as bad a human penis Pierre who may be the only coach in the history of pro hockey to be as bad as Weight.

Kulikov is a professional athlete in name only these days, but it was quite annoying to watch the Jets forget how good McDavid was in the third period last night. No way they should have choked up a 4-1 lead.

Just fuck me up, it feels like every tie the Blues can't drop further they have an even worse period. Yeo has to go as fast as possible.

Season highlights:

1) Ryan O'Reilly

2) Jordan Kyrou

3) The Power Play

Season problems:

1-99) Everything else
