FEBRUARY 2018 WRESTLING DISCUSSION.

Ha, such truth.

I had a girlfriend in college who one summer got a job at the Olive Garden, where I had worked for two years. It was really weird having my college world and work world collide. I didn't care for it and was happy when she quit at the end of the summer.

Could be. Aren’t they’re a few others who have different IG or Twitter handles that are non-kayfabe? I’d say I wonder why they aren’t held to that “rule”, but they’re probably not as high up on their totem pole to even bother enforcing anything.

Braun is the obvious example. Pretty sure his IG is his real name, which looks funny when Bliss tags him in a bunch of their pics.

Correct - in fact in his bio he talks about how he "just plays a character on TV"

Miz, Rusev, Xavier Woods, Becky Lynch, Lana, Paige, Renee Young are just several of the wrestlers who at least have their shoot names in their Display name if not their IG handle

Most likely. Fucker probably just kept ordering endless salad and breadsticks, plus free refills of soda.

He’s addicted to that meatsauce. But hey, since he got that huge contract from Liverpool, he’s got the money to blow.

I thought Dick Togo was in Vietnam trying to get pro wrestling off the ground there.

He caught some form of TB and was recovering, as was posted in the main Puro thread. There was a lot of stuff before that though -- world retirement tour that didn't end up being a real retirement (of course, he's a wrestler after all). Maybe the Vietnam news missed me. He is a bigtime Socialist/Communist apparently so hey.

Is that Hase or Niikura? Because if it's Hase I need to watch that

EDIT: Nevermind, the Northern Lights gave it away

EDIT II: Pretty good match. Both Hase and Liger are young and spry and it's always good seeing maskless Liger even if the VQ is poor. Also features an always verbose Brian Pillman on commentary and an unfortunate ref whos last name is Himmler haha

Pillman and Mike Shaw was usually fun when they were together.

Just read the blurb in WON about how WWE wants to use Rousey to make Stephanie a bigger mainstream name. I mean, whatever, but it did remind that it's pretty clear that Stephanie is gearing up for a political career. It was Linda's dream and she's in government now and Stephanie has been laying the groundwork for herself as an ambassador and spokeswomen for various causes for years and trying to establish herself as not just a wrestling executive. She could probably win a Congressional seat in Connecticut.

So, anyway, pumped for First Man Paul  in 2028. You thought he was burying people backstage. Just wait until they get into the White House.
